from the chair: 26th February 2013 Full Moon in Virgo

Hi everyone!

We’re still all at sea with so many planets still in Pisces! We’re awash with emotion flushing out all the toxins!

However, this week the Full Moon in Virgo will give us the opportunity to ground some of this emotional energy.

Mind you, the moon is all emotion, memory and the unconscious, so we’re still working with big emotional energies, but Virgo earth energy is giving some form and substance to all these emotions.

We just need to keep coming back to the earthy, practical thinking and acting of the Virgo energies.

What’s happening:

Water energy, emotion as well as the higher spiritual energies taking us to the rainbow of fulfilment!

We’ve still got the planetary line-up in watery emotional energies, mostly Pisces but Scorpio’s a strong force with us long term!

In Pisces:

Inspiring, healing and flowing!

Keep focussed on positive higher energies!

Sun, Neptune, Chiron, Mercury and Mars. Venus will be joining them this week!

In Scorpio:

Owning our personal authority, aligning with planetary evolution/direction...staying on course!

Saturn, North Node of the Moon

Give up all resistance and fighting:

We’re learning to allow things to take their course and floating along

Floating and dreaming, keeping our head above water, letting the water and currents take us where we need to be

If you’re getting' ‘tormented’/stressed, you’re resisting, not allowing...pull back, slow down, relax and allow things to unfold.

Beware, that’s ‘be aware’ of some of the Piscean pitfalls...

Pisces rules limitation, imprisonment, self-sabotage, subconscious, past lives, the collective unconscious and mass emotions

falling into limitation, limited thinking

falling back into pain and suffering

falling into fear, doubt, insecurity

feeling overwhelmed by irrational emotions, ‘memories’, lost aspects, lost souls

feeling ‘sucked in’ by mass outpourings of emotion

If you’re starting to feel overwhelmed, do some cleansing.

Remember: Pisces connects us all emotionally so we feel everyone’s emotions. Cleanse emotionally and often. Whatever works for you. Follow your instinct.

I find ‘toning’/singing is good for me as it brings the power into the throat and sends my vibrations through the whole body. Clearing in nature is great too.

Keep bringing the light in through the top of the head and the chakras with the breath work. Water, swimming and incense is good. Most of you know this, but we need to remain extra vigilant with so much Pisces energy seemingly inundating us.

23rd February:

Mercury turns retrograde at 8.41 pm AEDT at 19 degrees Pisces 41 until 18th March

...into the retrograde ‘carwash’!

We’ve been slowing down for about a week and the retrograde energy kicked in yesterday, so we’re in it!

Go with the flow, expect the unexpected, be flexible, be prepared to change your mind, often more than once and avoid making any big decisions till after the event, 18th March or even later. Retrogrades are all about ‘cleaning up our acts’, polishing up, reviewing, revisiting etc.

Re-treading the grapes...revisiting old territory: think positively about the possibilities!

Always a possibility that anything, anyone, an issue or an opportunity from the past can reappear...unfinished business, reconnecting

Work on, revisit ‘old’ projects, prepare for new ones: We’re reviewing, revisiting, resurrecting ‘old’ ideas, projects, possibilities, directions, plans etc. It’s a good time for gathering data, researching information in preparation for getting moving after Mercury retrograde period.

Mercury goes direct 18th March: Life will be getting a boost along when Mercury goes direct! The Sun moves into Aries/Equinox is on 20th!

Mercury’s direct movement will be about a week after the New Moon in Pisces and two days before the Equinox when the Sun moves into Aries. It will be an auspicious time for getting things on the go so make sure you’ve done the groundwork in these next few weeks so you’ll be ready for lift-off with the Equinox.

Like the two Pisces fish swimming in opposite directions, two ways this energy could manifest:

we’re working with both energies

confusion, muddle, illusion...the challenge is ‘what is the truth’, letting go of traditional problem solving through logical and rational thinking processes

and/or

inspiration, heart/mind connection...the opportunity is being in a relaxed and ‘open’ state to imagination and creativity

Losing your mind????:

We’re been getting a mind makeover and there’s even more to come with Mercury retrograding in Pisces

This is mind healing energy! If you think your mind’s been off the planet, you’re right on track.

Mercury in Pisces is taking us to a whole new place of thinking, communicating and yes, reasoning. We are being taught to ‘think with our hearts’ in the only way real learning takes place...practice!

Get clarity, stop thinking: “I can’t get my head round this’ may be a familiar experience just recently with all the Pisces energy. We’re learning to access our communications, words from the centre of our being, our heart energy.

Relax, relax, relax: Consciously turn off the mind and relax, do something relaxing...meditate, contemplate, be in nature, get in the water, paint, listen to/make music, dance

Healing our mental ‘madness’: Our nervous systems, monkey minds are learning new ways of being

Cut the ties with stress, mental chatter, nervous tension, anxiety and all the other ‘mind’ controls

‘Sea mail’ applies with potential slowdowns in the following areas:

Communication of all kinds:

phones, the web, electronic communications...spoken and written, personal, business

Misinformation will be even more challenging than usual as Pisces lends to fantasy, dreaminess, illusion, lies

Travel of all kinds:

breakdowns, traffic jams, missed appointments, times, delays, directions, bookings

Commerce, business:

possible delays in ‘deals’, agreements, contracts, documentation, any commercial transactions like banking etc.

Risk management for the retrograde period: slow down, breathe, take your time

Listen more carefully to yourself as well as others

Be clear on all details

Double check all arrangements, all documents, all agreements

Check vehicles, maps, directions, meeting places, bookings on flights, hotels etc

Keep your mobile phone charged, check battery, keep it with you when travelling.

26th February:

Full Moon in Virgo at 7.26 am AEDT at 7 degrees Virgo

...listen to the call to your path of ‘service’

With so many planets in Pisces, along with the Sun, there’s a likelihood you may be feeling overwhelmed, especially at this Full Moon. There’s a kind of madness around Full Moons as unconscious emotional energies and buried emotions are brought to the surface. With this Full Moon we’re full of the seething energies of the past, both individual and collective.

Jupiter in Gemini is challenging the Sun and Full Moon:

expanding emotional energy, challenging us to balance!

Jupiter expands everything which is great if you’re feeling positive. However, there is the potential for the Piscean energies to pull us back to old emotions, behaviours related to the past...e.g.victimhood, martyrdom, suffering, pain, limitation. Being in a Mercury retrograde which is in Pisces, this is very likely as we’re re-treading ‘old grapes’.

Release the emotions, grounding through practical, earthy activities. Start planning your positive future. Know that how you’re feeling isn’t just about YOU! Go for a walk, dance, sing, remind yourself you have a physical body!

Jupiter in Gemini:

higher wisdom calling us...going beyond Twitter! Stop the chatter and go deep and meaningful!

Jupiter in Gemini at 7 degrees will be squaring/challenging the Sun and Full Moon in a T-square formation. It’s a challenge and an opportunity to lift our game, to go beyond shallow thinking, communicating and connecting.

The missing leg of the T square will be in Sagittarius,(Jupiter is its ruler), which makes this our focus for dealing with the challenge reinforcing the Sagittarian message – expand thinking, knowledge, communication, vision and get in touch with your inner wisdom.

Virgo is an earth energy, asking us to follow our path of service, to commit to our calling. The Full Moon is illuminating our path of service, our path of destiny if we are ready to listen to the communication from our unconscious. It’s always the case at a Full Moon, but this time the messages are particularly powerful as Mercury and Chiron, both rulers of Virgo, are working with the Sun (our identity, who we are in the world) in Pisces.

The Sun in Pisces opposite the Full Moon: Receiving the ‘vision’ of ourselves in the world and how to bring it into reality

The Full Moon lights up a vision of our path forward and the means for bringing that vision into reality. With Mercury just gone retrograde, we need to hold off acting on these visions in any major way.

Wait till just after 18th March to strike out in new directions. This is a time of receiving the messages, collecting data, research.

Uplifted heart: Venus in Aquarius will be close to Neptune in Pisces lifting our heart energies into a whole new spiritual healing space.

Healing:

Going with the flow and allowing will maximize the cleansing of all the ‘clag’ which has been holding us back.

The bugle is waking us up to new beginnings with new learning in new skills and talents. Sounds like waking up to new ways of utilising our minds and hearts, to work together in a unified response, to elevate our thinking and consciousness to the higher Piscean ideals enacted in the physical world.

Also, sounds like waking up to our ‘calling’, path of ‘service’, path of heart, path of destiny!

26th February:

Venus moves into Pisces at 1.02 pm AEDT until 22nd March

...universal love in our hearts!

Just a few hours after the Full Moon, Venus makes her move out of Aquarius into Pisces. Here, love has no boundaries as Venus expands her consciousness to encompass the collective, the masses.

Dive in: Venus is swept up in the ocean wave carrying the other planets, Mars, Mercury, Neptune, Chiron and the Sun

Awash with love:

love me, love my partner, love the world

We can lose ourselves here, lose our hearts to the idealism that is the Pisces signature. This energy gives us the opportunity to feel love for the universe, to be more magnanimous, more tolerant, more compassionate providing we open ourselves up to this energy!
