from the chair: 7th August 2013 New Moon in Leo

Hi everyone!

How are you all travelling? Even if you feel you’re standing still...you’re not! It’s all ‘undercover’ work we’re doing!

We’re privately making changes to our whole being, outlook on life, our emotional, mental, physical and spiritual existence.

The light’s been pouring in through the Grand Sextile vortex and the Lion’s stargate energy. Look to Sirius, the brightest star in our sky!

What’s been happening:

26th July to 12th August:

Lion’s stargate...intensifying of light energies, creative ideas

We’ve been travelling through the energies of the Lion’s stargate since 26th July. This is a two week portal of energies offering new ideas, creative re-invigoration and connection to the divine feminine energies of fire. We’re being realigned to Sirius and the ancient mysterious power of the pyramids.

Leo Sun: We’re basking under the energies of the Leo sun until 23rd August, giving some balance to all the huge emotional energies of the water signs, which have got us all a bit waterlogged. Maybe you’ve had difficulty getting out of the water of overflowing emotions and feeling a little waterlogged. Just keep coming back to the firelight to dry out.

Passion and creativity are calling us:

Are we listening and responding to the nudges of our heart and soul?

We can’t ‘see’ what’s happening within us with the unseen forces like emotions, thoughts, beliefs, values and attitudes. We need to remind ourselves that these inner changes lead us on to making the positive physical changes to our world. Our hearts know what we truly desire for our happiness and fulfilment at this moment in time.

We are making the changes! We are in charge! We are creating our own life!

Maybe changes are happening in your physical world – the body, home, relationships, work. It may seem that these changes are beyond our control, imposed on us by outside forces. Yet, we need to remind ourselves, it’s all about our creative growth and development towards fulfilment.

Embracing your lust for life: Reuniting the sacred and ‘the profane’...accepting all that we are!

Embrace your primal wild spirit! Trust yourself!

We are constantly changing and growing. If we’re bored, chances are we don’t feel as if we are growing and changing because there’s nothing new to stimulate our minds and hearts, to activate our passion. Creativity brings joy and ignites the passion inside. This is the current energy available to us with all the Leo energy coming to the fore.

The picture above is the ‘Lust’ card from the Thoth tarot. The message of the card calls us to activate our lust and passion for life, harnessing the power of the creative diversity of the multi-headed lion. The woman, naked in her authentic connection of the physical/spiritual energies, is holding a crucible of life force, the chalice of the holy grail of ecstatic connection.

Gerd Ziegler, in Tarot: Mirror of the Soul, describes the card thus:

The card is a representation of divine intoxication, divine ecstasy, divine madness. The woman appears intoxicated. The lion is also enflamed by lust. His seven heads are those of an angel, a saint, a poet, an adulteress, a daring man, a satyr, and a lion-serpent. They symbolize different aspects and viewpoints which now unite and meld together as a single perceptive force in one orgiastic experiencing.

Grand Water Trine continues: Gremlins of the past are clearing! Washing away doubts, fears and insecurities!

This energy is still working on us until about 21st August. It will be interesting to see how we’ll feel when we get out of this emotional cleansing and purification process. The water energies are now in a mix with the fiery energies of Leo. And we all know what happens with fire and water...steam!

I sometimes feel as though I am in a steambath/sweat lodge!

Mars in Cancer till late August:

masculine energies still getting a workover

...surrender to the emotions!

Mars is only at the midpoint of Cancer and won’t be moving into fiery Leo until the last week of August. So, keep calm, breathe and allow yourself to go with the flow. Our masculine warriors are debriefing after lifetimes of fighting and war. Difficult to put down the sword sometimes.

Physical: If you’ve had trouble with the right side of the body, left side of the head, then this is a likely manifestation of these energies working their way out of the body. Obviously, doctors and/or natural healers may be required to assist you. But I believe it all comes back to spiritual healing and that means resolving the unresolved energies within the unconscious and the memory. How much oppression are we releasing into the light!

4th August:

Mercury moved out of retrograde shadow!

Still in the water until 8th August!

Restrictions released around communication, travel, movement forward!

Mercury is about communication as well as one of the two main planets which govern movement. So when Mercury moves out of shadow, chances are you’ll feel a release of energy which has been holding you back in some way.

It’s travelling through the final degrees of Cancer, finishing off our ‘mind’ makeover, realigning our mind with our heart and with our emotions. We have been learning to operate by checking in to how we feel emotionally before we make a decision, rather than making a decision purely from our mentality.

Inner fires are ignited: The Leo energy wants us to shine as it’s ruled by the Sun, the most powerful planetary body in our solar system. However, the moon is in darkness, so new energies are seeded at the New Moon. This means we’ll be working with inner fires and passions finding expression under the Leo Sun.

We have two interesting aspects interacting with this New Moon:

1. New Moon/Sun will trine Uranus in Aries

2. New Moon/Sun will form a T-square with the North and South Nodes of the Moon.

Clearing the blockage: Wounds released

These aspects are working together in a trigger affect which is likely to zing us quickly and easily into a change process. Something that’s been difficult to release is suddenly released, almost instantly. And an ongoing conflict between two choices is resolved.

Chiron, the wounded healer, in Pisces: opening and releasing wounds of the past, clearing blockages from the future!

Chiron is positively aspecting both the North and South Nodes of the moon. It’s an emotional story with the water energies of Pisces and Scorpio working together to release old emotional wounds which have been holding us back. Fears, traumas, tragedy, torture, slavery, in equities, poverty, held in our physical bodies (Taurus South Node) can be released at this time. Let them go!

The ‘Street Pageant’ is seen ‘Moving Along a Street Packed With People’. Mercury in Cancer, where we’ve been: Whilst Mercury has been in Cancer, there’s been a rebalancing of our mental polarity, forcing us to be attentive to our emotions and to feel our response emotionally before making our mind up about ideas, decisions, courses of action. We’ve been learning to ‘think with the heart’ since Mercury has been in Cancer since the beginning of June.

A two week window of activation:

Make the most of these next two weeks by activating the passion!

Mercury is likely to take off with pure joy in the fiery, passionate Leo energy! Get ready for some more igniting forces firing the mind. It may feel like emerging from a holiday by the beach and returning to ‘work’ rejuvenated and refreshed. Greater clarity is available to us. However, we need to remember the lesson of trusting our hearts to guide our minds and to check in with the question ‘How do I feel about...?’ Passion, joy and upliftment are the key ingredients of Leo, our benchmarks for knowing what’s good for us and our spirit.

Expect passionate exchanges with this energy, not only of the ‘sweet nothings in the ear’ variety!

People are likely to get a bit heated, hot under the collar when discussing issues and could be likely to become ‘child like’ and/or ‘childish’ as inner children are brought into the open to be healed. Be kind to your little child if you experience an open display of your own little child having a little tantrum.

8th August:

A highly charged aspect of big bold Jupiter facing off to Pluto, God of the Underworld!

This aspect is already acting upon us as of 3rd August, but actually comes to an exact meeting on 8th. This could be the meeting of the positive power of expansive, optimistic Jupiter being challenged, brought down to size by Pluto, Lord of darkness and death.

Don’t let the ‘bats’ get to you!

Pluto: Jupiter, you’re so full of happiness and optimism. Life isn’t a bowl of cherries, you know! Clearly, you’re living in some kind of dream world.

Jupiter: Pluto, it’s not all about death and destruction. We don’t all live on the dark side. You need to get out more and have some fun!

Get the picture?: It’s all about counterbalancing the needs of both these planets. Claiming the darkness as an ‘ally’, a friend and allowing that friend to work on breaking down the barriers of the status quo (Pluto in Capricorn), whilst lifting yourself out of the darkness to get back to the world of people and the joy of relating to others in positive ways.

Yes, Jupiter expands energies and in Cancer, opposite Pluto in Capricorn, issues of security, both physical/financial as well as emotional, may be likely to surface. Just keep coming back to hope and optimism as you release these fears, doubts into the light.

8th August:

The Lion's stargate...a culminating point!

A power day!

Open to your inner lion of strength!

The 8th August is significant as the culminating point of the Lion stargate portal.

It’s about a light download which opens us up to light energies which offer the potential of change, an uplift, an upgrade. What do we need to do? Just allow, allow, allow and be open to the positive energies, even if the physical body has a few squeaks and groans!!! Remember, we’re learning and owning our ‘lion’ energies!
