Hi everyone!

We’re doing a balancing act...in case you didn’t know!!!!

Here we are somehow riding under the Libran Sun holding us in balance as we ride the intense changes of the past few weeks. The change process is likely to continue without quite as much intensity as the North Node and Saturn in Scorpio move away from each other.

What’s been happening:

With so much planetary focus in Scorpio taking us through a wild transformational process, the Libran energies have offered the support of balance and harmony, bringing us back to centre after the tumult of the waves of change moves on.

Karmic release: Clearance of past life/alternate realities into the light!

In particular, the influence of the North Node in Scorpio aligning with Saturn in Scorpio, has led us to experience the heaviness of Saturn’s karmic burdens and treadmill memories rising up in from the centre of our being, pushing us to resolve old energies through the evolutionary process.

I’m gonna lay down my burdens,

down by the riverside:

I don’t know about anyone else, but if you have a heavy commitment with planetary work, chances are you would have felt this heaviness in the body, like an exhaustion, walking through mud, snow, desert...you name it. This is the energy of the long distance traveller finally arriving at the oasis of release.

As we come to the recovery point, the heaviness intensifies as we take those final steps to the waterhole, to rest and regenerate! Whew!

This Libran New Moon is offering us something special! Its called LOVE and harmony, beauty, balance, peace, serenity, and of course, justice!

Relationships front and centre:

A New Moon means a fresh start and a New Moon in Libra means a fresh start in terms of relationships, partnerships of all kinds, one-on-one connections.

Balance and justice is the key:

Past, present and future!

Yes, it’s about love more than anything and it’s about bringing balance to all kinds of partnerships through loving connection.

Clear the damaging past memories and cut the ties with all that is detrimental to loving connection.

In this New Moon energy, relationships will change...for the better!

It doesn’t matter if you’re not in an intimate or close partnership liaison with another. This energy focusses us on loving partnerships at al levels of being:

relationship with the self

relationship with our ‘divine’ self

relationship with others

‘Mirror, mirror on the wall’:

Own who you are and love who you are!

Accept ‘The good, the bad and the ugly’!

Remember, Libran energy is all about ‘mirroring’ of ourselves in others. Look into the hearts of others to find yourself and own those disowned parts of yourself, whether they be ‘good, bad, or ugly’.

Projections: Own only the truth!

Recognise the false images projected onto you by others!

Then of course, we’ve got the ‘projections’ to deal with, the images other people project on to us. This is another mirrored landscape. We choose whether we accept others perceptions of us whether conveyed in direct words, actions, behaviours, gestures, overhead comments, gossip.

Be true to yourself: ‘I’ve got no strings to hold me down’ ...release the inner child who has been carrying a heavy load!

And of course, we’re looking at those projections placed us on throughout our lives. What projections did we accept as children that are still controlling us, even though they are not aligned with who we are.

Cut free of the ‘strings’ of projection:

This is a good time to free the inner child from those projections which have kept us controlled like puppets on a string!

At the New Moon, the Sun and Moon are unified on the same degree:

It’s the happy marriage of ‘mum and dad’

Masculine and feminine energies are aligned and in agreement calling for peace and harmony in our hearts and minds!

This is a wonderful energy, something we want to hold onto...forever, like being in love! Yet we all know that we can’t maintain harmony and balance unless there is growth and change.

Put out your wishes for love, partnership, harmony, peace and beauty, but be aware there are change process afoot with this New Moon!

Here’s trouble, or is it:

Uh oh...

Uranus is challenging the happy partnership of the Sun and Moon!

Freedom calls! Change!!!

Uranus, the rebel, the radical, the freedom fighter, is facing off in opposition to the Sun/Moon in Libra, stirring the pot like a radical teenager breaking free from the stability of the status quo.

Sacred cows challenged and status quo stability rattled:

Uranus/Pluto square activated by the New Moon energy!

Off with the masks: Freedom calls!

Uranus is squaring off to Pluto in Capricorn too, so the status quo will be rumbled and stirred as Uranus and Pluto get together in a challenge to the New Moon.

There is potential for fiery outbursts and release of long suppressed feelings, especially if you have been suppressing your own needs for independence and expression within the relationship. With Uranus in Aries, it’s all about the individual seeking freedom outside the bounds of convention (Pluto in Capricorn) and stability.

Revitalising, re-energising our selves and our relationships:

Stagnant relationships and patterns of relating will be challenged!

The planetary energies at this New Moon are asking us to hold that balance of harmony and joy by breaking out of any stagnant relating patterns which have held us hostage to the past. This applies to all partnerships...work, family, parents, children, colleagues, friends and lovers.

Planting and growing new relationship seeds: Uranus and Pluto are offering an opportunity of revitalisation and reinvigoration of the easygoing Libran New Moon which wants peace at any cost. The cost may mean a bit of rewiring of the balance and equity in relationship.

Set down new frameworks of relating: Win/Win!

New ways of relating which value individual needs and desires are likely to emerge from this New Moon. Relationships may come to an end. If energies which are uncertain and fragile remain unacknowledged now, will reappear at the Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Aries in two weeks time where they are likely to come to culmination and clearance.

Peace, balance, justice and individual freedom within relationship awaits those who work with these energies!

IT’S A CROSSROADS, A TURNING POINT AND A NEW FRESH DIRECTION

The Cardinal T- square of this New Moon creates a motivational force that demands taking action!

The Cardinal signs of Libra (New Moon and Sun), Aries (Uranus) and Capricorn (Pluto) are in play with each other as we stand at a crossroads of change, wondering which way to go.

It’s not just about relationships although this is a key energy of Libra. This energy could well involve any aspect of your life but it will be about changing the status quo.

Frustration break out!: Languish no longer! Pick a ‘path’ and step out in a new direction. The impetus will be great to act with the forces of change. Actions may not take place till the week following the New Moon but are likely to follow decision-making energies of the week following the New Moon.

Decisions and action become imperative: You may find yourself saying ‘I’ve had enough of this! That’s it!’ as choices that have been hanging in the air for a while now suddenly press for a decision and action.

Possible inner conflicted thinking! Come back to the heart and inner voice!

You may find yourself going backwards and forwards with the decision making process. Just don’t get yourself in a crisis over this state of being and keep coming back to the goal of justice, harmony, peace, love, balance.

The decision/s will be made and action will be taken. None of us can avoid the imperative for change with these energies.

We are heading to the rainbow of greater fulfilment and happiness even if at times we feel it’s a long way off!

What a promising message at this time when we have a whole heap of planetary energy underground in the Scorpio mine. Mercury, North Node, Venus and Saturn are all in Scorpio at this New Moon.

However, the power of the Cardinal T-square with the New Moon signifies a breakthrough!

8th October: Venus moves into Sagittarius

Hearts rebirthing into the light of a new day!

We’ve got our heart wheels back!

Venus moves out of Scorpio and she is released into the freedom of Sagittarius! The intensity of Scorpio transformation has been working on our heart energy releasing trapped and blocked heart pain from our deepest core.

Interestingly, just as Venus moves out of the Scorpio cave, Mercury (our mind energy) as of 1st October, is taking the Scorpio journey on a caving discovery tour. At least, we won’t have hearts and minds buried in dark introspection!

Hearts lightened: Hearts which have lightened their load will be ready for play and fun and hopefully lighten the load of our minds getting a makeover. This Venus in Sagittarius energy is really going to help us move through the intensity of the other Scorpio energies impacting on us and help us take time out of the cave of introspection. Venus in Sagittarius will lift our spirits and help us engage with the world.

Sagittarius calls us to travel, explore, investigate and taste the freedom of the open road. This is a ‘get cracking’ energy, so get on your roller skates/blades and follow that heart over the hills and far away.

8th/9th October:

Mercury meets Saturn in Scorpio, after crossing the North Node

Mind clearance and release!

Dumping the heavy dross: This is going to take a weight off the mind and help get focussed on direction at a time when we are making decisions as a result of that New Moon energy. I trust that this is a great opportunity to dump a whole lot of heavy duty burdens from our minds.

Clarity of mind: Answers emerge about what is calling you and what’s important for your progress at this time.
