from the chair: 17th March 2014 Full Moon in Virgo

Hi everyone!

Still swimming under the Pisces Sun until the Equinox, 21st March, when the Sun moves into Aries, the beginning of our astrological year.

I’m not alone it seems in experiencing a physical exhaustion which demands nothing less than sleep, rest, meditate, sleep, sleep! If you’re one of this number, be assured you are not alone. Just do whatever it takes to get through.

It depends on your individual journey, planetary placements and of course whether your soul chose to do the biological recalibration. All that matters is we keep taking care of ourselves during this time. Mars retrograde in Libra along with the Saturn retrograde are players in this energy work, along with the ongoing solar flares which effectively pump light into us.

I’m trusting for a surge of life force returning, even if not in full measure, when the Sun moves into Aries on 21st, the Equinox! Mars, our fire and life force, is still retrograde until 20th May. However, I would expect some energy returning after the Equinox.

What’s been happening:

1st to 8th March:

A choppy week of changes...how did you cope with all the changing currents????

A New Moon in Pisces, 4 planets changing direction and 1 planet changing signs!!!

Not the easiest of weeks to negotiate! Most people I heard about seemed to be on the back foot a little but managing to stay afloat and to keep sailing through the tides of change. When there are changes to the planets, it’s like a whole new set of behaviours and responses being called into play and we’re forced to start learning the ropes of these new energies in the management of our lives, both everyday and in the long term.

The personal planets: Mercury, Mars, Venus

3 personal planets making a change (Mercury, Mars, Venus) pushed into changes on the everyday level and in relation to the mind, body and heart. Mercury (the mind) is gaining pace and focus again whilst Mars (the physical body) is slowing us down as it backtracks in Libra, bringing balance, harmony and justice to our bodies. Remember, our physical being is the last to make the changes, as it is of greater density than our mind or emotions.

Venus moved into Aquarius until 6th April, calling us to liberate our hearts and lighten the personal load of any grief, pain, separation from love.

The social planets: Jupiter and Saturn

Saturn retrograde: Dropping off the baggage! Clearing the way forward, taking charge of our lives!

Saturn, turned retrograde in Scorpio, a final call to clear up and transform any burdens of pain, suffering, hardship, struggle, treadmill mentality. We’re letting go of any unnecessary baggage and karmic burdens which haven’t been released.

Recovering our talents, gifts and building our new directions: Reclaiming our earthly authority!

At the same time, we’re retrieving knowledge of our particular strengths, abilities, life calling, direction and divine mission as we reclaim our authority in this earthly life. We may well be building new foundations for our future based on these recovered abilities and strengths.

11th March: Jupiter moved out of ‘port’ and takes to the open sea...moving at last! Back to the present...and the future!

Relief at last? Jupiter started moving forward again on 11th March. He's been resting in port, stationary, since last Thursday after changing direction and waiting to get the go ahead from the cosmic port authority.

Jupiter is growth, expansion and optimism. He inspires growth and movement. He's been in retrograde motion for the past 4 months travelling through Cancer, dredging up memories and the past for resolution and laying ghosts to rest.

Now, we're all aboard and ready to move on.

Not up to full speed for a while yet as Jupiter will still be in shadow. But at least we can start accessing being 'in the here and now'!

From 4th to 12th March: Mercury in Aquarius squaring off to Saturn in Scorpio...a tight squeeze and challenge to shift the thinking!

From 4th to 12th March, we had Mercury/mind energy in Aquarius working with a challenging square to Saturn/status quo energy in Scorpio. You've probably been challenged to drop off a whole lot of 'old' beliefs, conditioning, patterns of thinking as Mercury called us to the freeing of the mind.

On 11th, they came to their meeting and intensity, so we spent the rest of the week from 11th, learning again to relax and integrate new information.

Maybe you didn’t get any new insights or weren’t aware of any...not yet, anyway!

Mars retrograde in Libra slowing, repairing and rebalancing, insuring we’re on track with our passions and desires!

Physical body feeling exhausted?

Mars is getting a makeover, physical recalibration and rebalancing! In the repair shop!!!

Mars is our physical drive, energy, passion and is very much associated with enacting our passion in the world. Now if your physical body has been calling for extra sleep, rest, meditation, quiet time, then chances are your physical body is getting a makeover, a rebalance and a tune up!

Just imagine that while we’re resting, all the cells of our body are filling with a

light force which clears old cell memories and renews with an enlightened energy, equipping us for new directions, lives and the energy to move forward.

Yes, we’re moving slowly, balancing our relationships and bringing balance to our physical bodies. Mars (along with Saturn) is making sure we are truly in touch with our deepest desire and highest calling. Nothing can be rushed in this matter.

Mars retrograde working with Saturn retrograde...making sure we’re fully tuned up physically and fully attuned to our divine destiny!

These planets going retrograde at the same time, are giving a very clear message about our physical direction forward. Mars is slowing us down to clear any blockages/limitations held within our bodies whilst Saturn, master of physical manifestation and karma, is making sure we’re aligned with our highest authority, our divine mission this lifetime, clearing up any outstanding karmic ties, burdens.

Goodbye to the ghosts of the past...karmic burdens, false beliefs, conditioning!

It’s definitely time to let go of patterns of behaviour and difficult conditions within our lives! Mars and Saturn are helping us, so any slow progress is a blessing if we make sure we ‘do the work’, face and release fears, doubts insecurities, false belief systems and old conditioning which will hamper our progress.

Leading into the Full Moon: Positive energies for clearing and moving into an open space of readiness to receive the full moon messages!

14th to 16th March: Mars in Libra trines Mercury in Aquarius... a perfect set up to prepare us to receive the full measure of the Full Moon energies!

Mind and body come into harmony, alignment and agreement for a couple of days. The freeing of the mind with Mercury in Aquarius effectively opens the door for the physical body to come into harmony and balance.

13th to 16th March: Saturn in Scorpio trine the Sun in Pisces...powerful clearing and realigning energy!

Out with the old and in with the new more evolved energies of the enlightening Pisces Sun. Keep your eye on the vision!

We’re doing both at once, offloading and accessing the bigger vision of our lives. It may not come into clarity until the Full Moon followed by the move of Mercury into Pisces this week. Just keep open to insights and keep offloading struggle and pain!

17th March: Full Moon in Virgo 26 degrees 1 Virgo 4.08 am AEDT...out with the ‘old’!!!

Virgo, the sign of the master healer, the purifying force of the feminine earth energy, is the sign calling us to our divine mission. This is where we’re called to take our authority and be excited when we give of ourselves with our gifts and talents.

This is not ‘treadmill’ energy. It is inspired giving!

It’s all water and earth. All those emotions of this Pisces solar month are needing grounding as we’ve been floating on so many oceans, seemingly going nowhere. Virgo, is an earth sign, ruled by Mercury which is the quicksilver mind, sometimes diverted by Virgo’s anxiety to ‘get everything done’ in the deep-seated need to perfect our physical existence. We know that ‘perfection’ in 3 dimensional thinking, is an illusion. A more evolved expression of the Virgo energy is ‘purification’ and coming into integrity.

Out with the worries! Drop the burdens!!!

Virgo energies can bring up worry, anxiety, overthinking and overanalyzing. The moon is a big powerful emotional energy which floods our whole being and has the potential to wash away all the anxieties and worries which have been hanging out in our aura and bodies. By the same token, these emotions can take us over if we let the emotions have their way. Keep reaffirming the commitment to clearing purification and don’t let anxieties take hold!!!

Our main focus at the moon is tuning in to our true selves and calling in what aligns with our heart, mind, body and spirit. Earth signs carry the potential for manifestation on the physical plane. So, an earthy Virgo full moon carries the stuff of earthly dreams when aligned with our true calling, authentic selves and divine mission of earthly service.

Sorting, sifting, discriminating, discerning:

Virgo’s sharp mind lends itself to some clarification at the full moon.

Well, maybe not full bore, but certainly more invigorated! We’re still dealing with Mars, ruler of Aries, in retrograde motion, so the brakes are still on.

Nice and steady:

Cruise control...fired at a steady pace! Risk management!

Just imagine we’re in cruise control. Not a bad thing in some ways as Aries energy can be impulsive, reckless and beyond reasoning. So, Mars retrograding in Libra, is holding us steady and operating like a risk management strategy.
