Hi everyone!
The Taurus Sun is shining on Mother Earth igniting our
hearts with love for our planet. Venus(the feminine) and now Mars(the
masculine), both in Taurus too, are alleviating the tensions of the fiery tunnel
of the past few weeks.
Recovering from last week:
Hopefully, you’re recovering some sense of sanity after
last week’s build up to the Sun meeting Mars in Aries last Friday! All the
fire, anger, resentment and reactive energies are beginning to settle now we
have the Sun and Venus in Taurus. You may feel like you’re breathing again,
even if you’re dealing with the aftermath of all the explosive feelings and
often irrational outbursts and reactions.
Mercury is still in Aries until 2nd May, so be aware of
fiery communications...not necessarily negative. But, your mind may still be
working overtime, so if sleep eludes, just bear with it.
The physical body:
Nurture and nourish...no
more burnout!!!
With all the planets in Taurus, you may be finding it
necessary to get some body work to release some locked in energies, past
lives/alternate realities, lost aspects. Cell memories are being released. You
may find that long term aches, pains and illnesses are being resolved in this
period of time as the cosmic energies are conducive to completion, release and
resolution.
The earth herself is clearing and we’re doing it along
with her. We’re purifying and reaching for a happy fulfilling abundant life on
planet earth. The Taurus energy is offering alignment with the wealth of the
earth herself. Stay tuned to the physical body in these next few weeks. The
Earth Mother is here!
If you’re not taking care of yourself, nurturing
yourself not just physically, but nourishing yourself with what brings you
joy...get cracking! It really is all about love during this time of
Taurus.
With Taurus, watch the throat chakra, neck. Taurus can
be stubborn/wilful and the neck is all connected to that. Singing/Toning is
good because Taurus has an affinity with music. ‘Not my will, but they will be
done’
What’s coming in:
Eclipse season, starting
with tomorrow’s Scorpio Full Moon partial lunar eclipse!
Our breathing space, whilst welcome, is in some ways
temporary as we are just entering the first series of eclipses for 2013.
Starting with tomorrow’s eclipse, we’ll be moving into a
6 week period with eclipses every two weeks, shifting our perspectives, our
ideas, opinions and our lives in the usual dramatic style of the eclipse
energies. The changes emanating from eclipses may not manifest for a month, 6
months or even a year later.
26th April:
Full Moon in Scorpio partial Lunar Eclipse
at 5.57 am AEST at 5 degrees Scorpio 46
Death of the old: Scorpio energy is
all about life, death, rebirth, transformation and on the mundane level. relates
to money (from sources outside income) sexuality and intimacy. The Phoenix is
one of the symbols aligned with the Scorpio energy as it symbolises death and
rebirth.
Endings so we can be reborn: How
appropriate for this Full Moon to be Scorpio, as we have just emerged from all
that fire energy of Aries burning us up and destroying something that needed to
go.
The ‘final straw’: Full Moons bring
culminations, something coming to a head, something completing. Scorpio adds to
this ‘ending’, making it a more final ending than other full moons.
This Scorpio Full Moon energy is putting a big ‘full
stop’ on this destruction, finishing off what needs ending.
Deeply buried emotional energy seeks release:
The impact of the Full Moon is with us for a few days following on from
when it reaches fullness. Be aware of the emotions which always seem bigger
than Ben Hur at a Full Moon.
This one is more so with Scorpio energy and the planetary
line-up associated with the Full Moon at this time. Emotions could just bubble
up and blurt out of you, because we are dealing with often suppressed,
depressed, repressed energies which are seeking release. This is the kind of
emotion that’s buried so deeply that we just don’t know it’s there. Now, that
being said, it doesn’t mean these are negative emotions and it doesn’t mean
they’re emotions that connect obviously to your life now as there is so much
karmic release going on. We just don’t know which ‘lost aspects’ are seeking
resolution.
The masculine warrior energy of Mars is coming to peace with the Taurus energy and we are being called to harness this masculine energy in taking our authority with our emotional selves. This is not about suppressing or overpowering. It’s acknowledging and accepting our need for balance and harmony, freedom from oppression from others or of others.
We are clearing the way, preparing for our rebirth, the
first taste of which we’ll experience at the New Moon solar eclipse in Taurus on
10th May.
That New Moon will be very much about bringing ideas,
hopes and dreams into physical reality.
New information comes forth:
Scorpio is ruled by Pluto, God of the Underworld, so
you can imagine where the power of this Full Moon is taking us...deep within our
hearts, memories (moon rules memory), unconscious. Now think positively here,
because this full moon eclipse is guaranteed to bring something forth that you
needed to know.
the essence of who you are and what
you truly desire for fulfilment of your life on earth.
Full Moons bring illumination, insight arising from the
unconscious and the Scorpio energy takes us deeper than usual into digging for
the ‘gold’ that is us, our essence, our truth, our pathway forward. This full
moon offers us deep truth which will resonate with us, inspire us and give us
the impetus to move on and let go of past blockages.
Deeply embedded karmic burdens, patterns and
ties are revealed....just love em’ and leave ‘em!
With Saturn close to the moon, karmic burdens and ties
which have been holding us back, holding us down, keeping us from fulfilling our
potential...are likely to be revealed. It’s our call to release them.
Forgiveness of self, others is key to this release process.
Full Moons are all about emotion, the most expansive
emotional energy of the lunar month.
opening the channel to a more evolved vision of life! spiritual
release!
This energy is working in beautifully with the release
of the karmic ties/burdens and memories. We all carry a commitment to growth and
evolution in our earthly lives. Our soul calls us to break with the negative
and less evolved patterns of the past, to change the way we have lived to our
own detriment.
Spiritual knowledge accessible: Divine
guidance!
Everyone is different with our own ‘brief’ but we also
have a ‘brief’ for the planet. Everyone carries a different ‘load’ depending on
our soul’s choice, but it is about our own personal evolution as well as
contributing to the evolution of the planet. The energy of Neptune working with
the Full Moon, is opening us up so we can evolve our emotions into a higher
order, into a more evolved expression of ourselves.
Full Moon in Scorpio opposite Sun in Taurus: Grounding
deep emotions and feeling the earth upholding us and our life on earth!
The Full Moon calls for a balancing act between our
inner and outer selves. Both sides of our being are asking for expression and
we’re called to attend to both these energies. Scorpio is water and emotional
whilst Taurus is earth, practical and grounding.
The Taurus energy, Mother Earth, is holding us through
this Full Moon as we get in touch with the deep emotions of Scorpio, the burdens
and hard working energies of Saturn which are being released and evolving into
the higher consciousness of ‘taking our authority’, ‘owning our mastery’ of life
on earth.
The Sun in Taurus is close to Mars in Taurus:
Masculine energies find empowerment and release through earth and water!
All the fire of Mars is finding safe release in the
energies of Taurus. The fire of the Sun and Mars is being counterbalanced by
the water of Scorpio, which are both being held by Mother Earth. We need our
masculine self empowered and ready to play its part in taking us out into the
world, supported in the knowledge of who we really are with no need for false
pride or puffed ego. We are who we are!
The Sabian Symbols for this Full Moon:
From Cathy Pagano at http://www.wisdom-of-astrology.com/astrostarsarticles/the-cosmic-story-scorpio-lunar-eclipse-2013
The Sabian symbol for the Moon at 6* Scorpio is: The Gold
Rush tears men away from their native soil. Rudhyar says, ‘this is the
passionate search for new values which promise a more abundant life.’ This is
the symbol of a passion that fires the imagination to make us leave home and the
‘known’ for our dreams and visions. Scorpio looks for the intensity of
transformative experiences. This Moon will be shouting out our secret desires to
live more and better by dying to our fears.
The Sabian symbol for the Sun at 6* Taurus is:
Cantilever bridge across a deep gorge. Dan Rudhyar says that this image
‘suggests the conquest of separativeness through group cooperation’. In working
together to build a bridge into the ‘unknown’, people overcome our collective
obstacles. These are the tests of our evolution as a species. Taurus’ often
tends to be independent and doesn’t ask for help, so this image from the symbols
suggests a new way of creating the Garden for all of us. Not alone but
together.

Where will the eclipse be visible: From
Jonathan Cainer at: www.cainer.com
A partial Lunar
Eclipse will be visible on Thursday evening* (or Friday morning) from some parts
of the world. But even if you are in a place from where it can be seen, you'll
actually need to be looking at the Moon! These days, with so much to watch on
TV, the sky holds our attention less than it once did. Plus, just as TV signals
can fluctuate in strength, Moon vision requires the sky to be fairly cloud-free.
Thankfully, it has an impact whether we see it or not. That impact for us all
this week will be (in different ways for different signs) a realisation that
something we thought was hopeless is hopeful after all!
*Parts of New Zealand.
In Western Europe and West Africa, the eclipse is visible at Moonrise.
In Australia, Japan, Eastern Russia and Indonesia the eclipse is visible at Moonset.
In Eastern Europe, Eastern and Southern Africa, India, most of China and most of Russia, the entire Eclipse is visible.

Early on Friday morning there is a
short and shallow partial eclipse of the Moon visible throughout Australia. It
begins at 5:52 am AEST when the edge of the Moon moves into the Earth’s shadow
and finishes just 31 minutes later as it exits the shadow. At maximum eclipse
only 2% of the Moon’s width is covered.
