Hi everyone!
This update is a
retrospective due to my physical/spiritual situation of the past 2 weeks.
Yes. I’m a week late sending out the update. I’ve been seriously laid
low since the Libran Full Moon/blood moon. Even when you know you’re getting a
workover cosmically and physically, it’s still very challenging, as some of you
would know.
Most of this I’d written before the Full Moon, but my whole
being...physically, emotionally, mentally and of course, spiritually just called
me to a halt. The cleansing/purification process has been intense for many of
us. Others seem to be just sailing through the whole thing. I’ve definitely
been at basic survival level. If you’ve been heavily impacted by this one,
you’ll know what I’m talking about.
What’s been
happening:
Eclipse vortex: Spiritual
makeover!
We’re in the eclipse vortex and our
emergence with the Full Moon in mid May is destined to be a release from the
eclipse change process. We’re now on track for the solar eclipse on 29th April
with the New Moon in Taurus which will set the tone for the first two weeks of
May, culminating the eclipse energies on 15th May when the moon comes to
fullness in Scorpio.
Intense for many and ease and grace for
others:
For
many of us it’s been intense to say the least. If you’re having an easy ride,
trust that the planetary forces are not directly impacting your planetary
placements in your natal chart in challenging ways. Our natal astrology chart is
a map which is a guide to our ‘brief’ this lifetime and provides a personal
guidance system on how the changing planetary energies are likely to impact on
us at any given time.
The Full Moon total eclipse/’blood’ moon plus the developing Grand Cross:
That combo of Blood moon, full moon eclipse along with the Grand Cross
moving into position was intense for many of us. For some it was a peaceful,
beautiful release in the energy of the Libran moon. Much depends on your
personal natal chart and how those planets were being impacted by the Cross and
the Full Moon.
A big healing release:
Whatever happened to you through the full moon energies, we were washed
and released by the power of this full moon. You may have experienced this as a
deep peaceful energy and joy in seeing the magical moon change colour as it
moved through the eclipse energies.
Internal shifts: The moon rules the unconscious
You
may not be aware of anything happening to you at the full moon. Just remember,
it works on the unconscious, below the surface of our awareness. The full
import of what shifted within your psyche is more likely to become evident after
the solar eclipse on 29th April.
However, the influence of eclipses stretches out for 6 months!
20th April: Sun moved into
Taurus at 1.55 pm AEST...earthy, grounding and abundant!
Return to earth: Abundance for
all!
Taurus is an earth sign ruled by the planet Venus, symbol of beauty,
harmony and love. I always think of Taurus as Mother Earth because of her ruler,
Venus.
Venus in Taurus brings the message of earth’s abundance, earth’s
fertility and earth’s soul.
In Astrology, Venus rules love and
money. In Taurus, the connection between love and earthly abundance is brought
home to us when we open our hearts to our earthly existence and to our earthly
mother.
As we feel the love for and
acceptance of ourselves and our earthly lives, we open our hearts to receive our
earthly entitlement to the provision of all our material needs.
Grounding our hopes and
dreams:
Taurus energy supports us in the
growth of our hopes and dreams in the physical world. With the New Moon Solar
Eclipse in Taurus on 29th April, we’re getting a big push on the physical
dimension, prepping us to ground our spiritual selves into the physical
dimension.
20th to 23rd/24th April:
Grand Cardinal
Cross...with aftershocks for the next week till 29th April
A crossroads of
challenge/opportunity:
Four planets at right angles all at 13
degrees
Four planets all at right angles to each other on the same degree is a
major crossroads bringing challenge/opportunity to us all.
Shattering of the old: 4 intense days with a flow on for some
time to come
These energies will manifest as 3 to 4 days of shattering of old
beliefs, values and conditioning with a resultant dropping off of
memories which have been holding us back from our development and growth
of consciousness.
Insecurities to surface and be resolved: Cancer and Capricorn
energy
With Cancer and Capricorn as major players in the Grand Cross, any
emotional and/or physical insecurities are likely to well up from deep within.
Of course, Cancer rules memories and with Jupiter in there, we are releasing
memories which have been holding us back in other times, places and
situations.
Pluto in Capricorn:
transformation of the conditioning/status
quo
Jupiter in Cancer: expanding our home,
family and emotional security 
Uranus in Aries:
Pushing us through
This is the trailblazing energy that keeps challenging us to evolve and
take leadership of our lives spiritually.
Mars in Libra:
Holding us steady,
challenging us to come to balance
It’s about the physical body, our drive and passion, our life force.
Geared up to go:
Each planet working like a cog in a machine
kickstarting another cog!
Over these four days, each planet will be
interacting each other planet in either or a square or opposition. It is likely
to feel like waves of change rising up in our psyche, our body, mind and/or
heart. Any or all of these parts of our being are likely to be impacted.
Who’s likely to feel the impact of the Grand Cross:
13 degrees
will carry the strongest impact
Any
planets, planetary points you have at 13 degrees as well as anyone who has
planets between 11 degrees and 15 degrees. Any planets at these degrees in the
cardinal signs of Aries, Libra, Cancer and Capricorn more likely to have a
powerful impact.
How is it likely to impact
on you personally:
If you have a natal astrology chart,
even if you don’t know a lot about astrology, you can cross check the degree of
the planets at your birth. For the Grand Cross, the four planets will be
meeting at 13 degrees. Any planet at 13 degrees will be directly ‘hit’.
However, any planets between 11 and 15 degrees will be effecting change in your
life.
For me:
I’m
really feeling the clearance at a deep core level with 5 planets feeling the
impact of the Grand Cross and the Nodes as well as 2 planets impacted at the
Full Moon/Blood Moon. So, if my writing doesn’t seem quite as clear as usual, I
can put it down to the deep clearance of core wounds. It’s good even while it’s
shattering and releasing deep trauma. If you can relate to this, then chances
are you’re feeling the impact in a deeper way than others. Keep the rescue
remedy handy!

above. I’ve found the knees to be most challenging...Saturn challenge,
again!

‘voices’ with the voice and heart of Mother Earth.
Throat and neck clearing: Singing your heart

Metaphysically, Taurus rules the neck and is associated
with the throat, the voice and music. This is a beneficial time to work with
the voice, the music, toning, chanting, singing etc. for clearing any
‘blockages’ in the throat/neck.

always signify change which will flow on for the next month to 6 months. The
ruler of this eclipse is Taurus which indicates changes in those areas
governed by Taurus: Resources, financial as well as gifts and talents, self-worth.

This New Moon eclipse is asking us
to truly own who we are and own our special gifts and talents. No matter what
kind of a ‘hole’ you may feel you’re in, this New Moon is saying that you have
the gifts and talents to get out and get on in life on earth.

key: This New Moon eclipse is a call to step up, step out and
embrace your true worth with love and acceptance. This energy, after the Grand
Cross, feels like a ‘make or break’ moment. Nothing more is required than

15th May Full Moon in
Scorpio: Release from the eclipse change vortex with clarity
returning!
Once we accept our calling, then we
need to allow, to be patient whilst the moon makes it’s way to the Full Moon in
Scorpio in mid May. Just after that, Mars/the body/ the drive and passion
that’s been getting a makeover and rebalancing, will be moving out of retrograde
on 20th May. This will be a relief in so many ways and will set us up for
forward movement once again.

This
Symbol is a bit like this annular solar eclipse - it is 'decorated and shines in
the darkness' as the eclipse will be seen with a 'ring of fire' around it.
