Hi everyone!

I don’t know about the rest of you but that was quite a new moon week setting the focus and agenda for the next lunar month.  At the same time we’ve been moving through the last week of the solar Virgo month, an interesting juxtaposition of old and new, capturing us in the cross currents of letting in and letting go. Life. 

 

The past week of intense physical healing:

The past week in the final rays of the Virgo Sun, you may have been feeling the heaviness of the deep healing earth energies ploughing our bodies, digging deep into the cell memories, flushing out all manner of ‘illness’, spiritual wounds and genetic coding which can be the undermining force of our good health and spiritual truth. 

 

Breathwork is valuable at this time:  Relaxing allows regenerating

The Virgo energies are more subtle than the other earth signs working on the nervous system, communication channels often uncovering unrecognised sources of misalignment. Higher energies are downloaded through the nervous system throughout the body.

 

Were you grounded by the New Moon for a few days?

The New Moon with accompanying planet aspects packed a gentle punch and may have knocked a few of us off our feet for a day or two. They ushered in the potential for release from physical weak spots, lifelong ailments from childhood maybe which freshened up in order to be released.  The message is to take things easily this month as the body assimilates, integrates new cellular structures whilst releasing the old. The focus is physical.

We arrive at one of the four major solar turning points of the year which mark the change of seasons, a turning point in our yearly cycle, the final quarter for 2020.

The balancing time:  

 Setting the tone of the solar month of Libra

The September Equinox is welcomed when the Sun enters the sign of Libra which is all about balance, as is the equinox. It’s a day when the length of day and night is virtually equal as the Sun crosses the Equator. We’re always working with balancing, re-balancing but the Libran time brings this to the fore for our attention.

 

Reflection on our state of balance:  Readjustment...karmic balance

It’s a time for us to pause, reflect and consider the state of our being, our lives in terms of ‘balance’ as we manoeuvre through such a year of ongoing turbulence. It’s been more than a ‘slippery slope’ for many with the challenges of the earthly life continuing to manifest across the globe.

 

The purification process clearing karmic threads, contracts: The re-set

We need to remember we’re still in the purifying light of the Virgo lunar energies which may throw up ongoing moments, days of physical ‘dis-ease’, strange ailments surfacing for reconciliation with the truth of our here and now, what we have chosen this lifetime.

 

2020, ‘balancing the books’, a reckoning: 

It’s Libra time...a spiritual audit!

In many ways we have been re-covering old ground in this year of 2020 with so much emphasis on karmic resolution, revisiting other times, places and buried memories.  The whole year has involved an intense re-balancing of our spiritual history, our ‘stories’ which promises continuation until December.  For now, the audit. No judgments, just consequences. 

  Divine justice will be done!  Trust!

 

The spiritual audit:  

 Breathing space, stepping back, getting the big picture...walking with cat like aplomb and confidence!

We don’t need to do checks and balances unless that’s your way of handling this time. The spiritual auditor will let you know in words, deeds, ideas, insights and feelings how we’re going with the whole process. Hopefully, we’ll start feeling a sigh of relief as we grasp just how much we have accomplished these past months.

 

Boosting the power of the audit:  Jupiter and Saturn moving direct from 29th September

With these two planets moving direct from 29th September,  the bigger picture is going to start coming through of just how our karmic ‘books’ and accounts are shaping up.  It’s not going to be a sudden breakthrough but will feel like the karmic undertow is releasing its grip on us. Pluto will be joining them on 4th October and the Capricorn team will be on their way again. A brighter spot ahead.

 

Libra and our partnerships:  

We’re  still navel gazing but potential for new commercial partnerships may emerge

Libra rules love and partnerships which covers the partnership with ourselves.  Increasingly this year, we’ve been forced to look at ourselves, to dig deep for the loving partner within as we become increasingly isolated socially.  This is why so much of my updates have been focussed on the self-discovery process.

 

However, life and love continues unabated by global change.  We all seek love within and without, to see the best part of ourselves reflected in the people close to us, restoring faith in ourselves as loving human beings.  Libra month always throws up the reflections, pleasant and unpleasant.

Uncovering the secrets of the mind:

Get the thinking hat on?  Maybe more like the feely/touchy hat of Scorpio with the miner’s lamp as we enter the cave of discovery, in search of buried secrets within our minds and mental bodies.

It’s been a disorienting and confusing year for everyone where it’s been almost impossible to trust previously stable situations to hold, a constantly changing landscape. Changing the world and consciousness demands full attention to the moment so the turbulence is minimised, balance is restored.

 

Unravelling our inner mysteries and finding new desires...surprise, surprise!

Mercury in Scorpio doesn’t guarantee we’ll find all the answers we need but it will offer insights and understanding beyond our present perspective. Revelations and realisations about ourselves, discoveries of new desires or unrecognised desires will bring possibilities in changing our current course and direction in life.

This unravelling will gain emphasis when Mercury goes retrograde on 14th October at 11 degrees Scorpio.  Clearly this retrograde journey of Mercury is especially significant this year at this time. He’ll be completing the Scorpio journey from 11th November to 2nd December.

 

Transformation of commercial potential:  Small steps first

Mercury rules commerce so I imagine there will be some new activity starting to manifest as the Capricorn planets get into forward gear.  Nothing major until Pluto, ruler of money institutions and big money shifts into forward gear on 4th October.  Keep eyes open for small hints which promise new directions for commercial enterprises.  Will be tied into governments, big organisations and systems.  Things will start to stir financially.

The Libran sun invites us to embrace the beauty of life on earth, to bring peace to our hearts and minds and to keep choosing to hold to the centre of the wheel, to the midpoint of duality.  Yes, we want equity and justice but we also need to maintain equity and equilibrium within our own being.  Holding a steady course we can withstand the crises of ongoing change and disruption in the world.  Are we adding to the turmoil or healing it?

17th September 2020: New Moon in Virgo

 

Hi everyone!  Calling all earth angels!  It’s time!

Can you feel the energies of change bringing healing to the physical body?  We’ve got our eyes on the mountain top and rising to meet our own expectations and dreams.  The Virgo healing focus is purification, restoring us to original essence and that means releasing all that is stored in our bodies which is not of this lifetime, here and now.

 

Who is creating our reality?  Remember the sub-personalities!

It’s all very well to recognise that ‘we create our reality’ but let’s remember we’re filled up with embedded memories of other times and places, of projections from others. 

We have sub-personalities that are having input on the reality we’re creating. They bring their beliefs, ideas, values into our psyche and play a part in manifesting reality. 

 

Finding our truth, clearing the old aspects!

Where do we end and they begin?  That is what we’re all doing to clear these embedded aspects within us.   They may not all be holding us back in other times but the fact is they are not the living truth of us this lifetime.

Releasing sub-personalities:  

Purification processes!

The purification process works on all our bodies, emotional, mental, physical and spiritual so the process of self-examination, the Virgo laser like attention to detail and sensitivity is instrumental in unlocking the hidden sub-personalities. Our desire and commitment to uncover and discover our true self is the key.

The mind/body connection will join the dots in the healing process

Virgo is ruled by Mercury, the messenger, ruler of our mental body as well as the centaur Chiron ‘the wounded healer’.  Chiron is known as ‘the talking cure’ so the Virgo time, solar and lunar months, the focus is on speaking and listening, engaging in some deep therapeutic processes involving words as well as the physical body.  Virgo is an earth sign, so its attention is on the physical body.  Put together the words and the body and we can make some good progress in these times.   

 

The path of divine calling...where service with love is exalted!

Virgo rules ‘service’, not servitude.  It is where we are called to our divine mission, where we are called to give of ourselves of our particular gifts and talents.

We are called to this service in the mundane world, the ordinary everyday world where duty can be a burden if we are not giving with love. It is our duty to find our particular path of service to the world and to humanity.  

In finding this path we find and exalt ourselves as masters of the earth. It’s a big call and for many goes against the grain when seeking fame and fortune.  Virgo rewards come from the reward of giving from the heart. This is the energy which underpins true fame and fortune.

In selfless service we can release the egotistical needs of the lower consciousness, the need for self-importance, to have the ego stroked.  Sure we still need our ego, but it needs to follow the lead of higher guidance. When we are motivated by higher ideals we leave behind fear, doubt and insecurity.  We know we are protected, safe, secure and leaping into the unknown in that knowledge.  We start accessing our destiny...our highest potential.

 

Embodying higher consciousness in the physical body: 

Not everyone is deeply engaged in the process of physical embodiment of higher consciousness so when I write of the physical healing potential of these times it may feel somewhat removed from you.  However, we are all doing it one way or another whatever the state of our health or our body.

 

What a powerful message of healing potential  on offer at this new moon, a whole month of focussing our energies on the structural change process on offer as Mars fires the body with the need to forge new pathways.  We’re deeply engaged in the transmutation process.

Calling all earth angels!  We’re gathering the energies of earth and sky, the physical and the celestial to birth our inner angelic forces in love and service to the earth and to humanity.

We’re on our way to the New Moon in Libra which marks the Equinox, another powerful turning point for the year which initiates a time of balance, karmic justice and equity.

10th September 2020: Mars retrograde, 13th Jupiter direct

 

Hi everyone!

Completion time:  From now to December!

We’re in the Virgo solar month and the ninth month of the calendar year.  In Numerology, 9 is the number of completion and it seems that just since the Full Moon last week some of us are finding breakthroughs of varying kinds.  In the Tarot cards, The Hermit card is the number 9 and relates to ‘the journey’, our individual quest for truth, love and wisdom.  It’s message...’go on and complete’.

Clearing the final obstacles

It feels like what we’ve been chipping away at for months is starting to show signs of release as the inner resistances to change are beginning to fall away.  Are we worn out?  Are we surrendering and accepting?  Which parts of us, which sub-personalities have finally given over to the inevitable change and accepted the shift in consciousness to truth, love and yes...freedom!

Readying ourselves for clearance from the undertow!

We are on the edge of some imminent major shifts in the planetary energies with Jupiter already stationing on 17 degrees almost at a standstill as he turns direct after months of retrograde energy.  He moves on to 18 degrees at the end of September, just when Saturn stations/turns direct. 

Starting to feel the release from the undertow of retrograde energies in Capricorn:  Starting this week, this month and onwards to December

It’s been the feeling that we’re dragging our heels, wading through mud which we can put down to Jupiter Pluto and Saturn in Capricorn travelling retrograde.  These slower moving planets are what’s giving us all a general feeling of ‘nothing’s happening’ of a lack of impetus as the world undergoes the challenge of social, economic and political change.

Regenerating our inner sloth:  

Getting a new vision of the world through 2020...2020 vision!

Capricorn’s a cautious sign anyway which has added to this underlying sluggishness of the energies.  We needed the karmic clearance so we can be ready for the Aquarian energies coming in this December. In just a couple of weeks, 29th September,  Saturn will be turning direct and we’ll feel that undertow of heaviness release from our bodies and our life force.   

Mars retrograde:  Still fire in the engines keeping them idling if not firing

Now, we could think that Mars stationing retrograde could hold us back from taking physical action and slow our progress.  More than likely. However, Mars is still in his own sign of Aries so there’s still fire in the engines. And he travels at the top of the energetic framework of planetary speed.

From 6th to 10th: 

A little less oomph in the engines as Mars ‘stations’ at 28 degrees Aries 

Mars is slowing down preparing to turn retrograde on 10th September. As one of our main engine drivers for vitality and physical get up and go, we may well be feeling his slowdown sitting on the stationing degree of 28 Aries.  However, there’s an added intensity to his energy during this period that may well be internalised. 

 

He's preparing to enter the retrograde labyrinth for the next 2 months where he can access immense inner fire power for healing and building new cell structures as he squares off to the Capricorn team of Pluto, Saturn and Jupiter.

 

10th September:  Mars retrograde 28 degrees Aries at 8.22 am AEST

A two month retrograde stint heightens the energies and transforms action

Intensification!

Mars is in his own sign of Aries for an extended period  thanks to a retrograde stint of 2 months. The last time this happened was 1988.  Like so much of this year, we are in highly unusual circumstances astrologically with these planetary forces playing out across the world in our everyday reality.

Mars is now to play a significant role in the change process:  

Firing up the warrior!

We are at a significant turning point in history, a turning point which can make us or break us, a time for getting serious about maintaining life on earth for the good of all. At this time we are still being brought face to face with the facts whilst our political leaders are in as much if not more confusion about what to do. The growing rebellion intensifies in what form?  Finding our avenue for expressing the fiery emotions brewing inside. It may go out or in or a balance of both. We are looking to evolution, new ways of harnessing and expressing energy.

In the labyrinth, a time of renewal, reflection:  Fast spiritual growth

Mars is our masculine warrior, our fire and drive, our get up and go is now entering the labyrinth of reflection where his energy is contained by a slowing down of everyday movement.  

He’s backtracking over the past few months reviewing, rediscovering in a process of renewal. 

Mars gains a new sense of power...contained energy!

As one of our personal movers and shakers, Mars is not comfortable in this holding process.  However, a retrograde journey intensifies the power of the planet as it’s forced to hold energy where once before it readily dissipated that energy.  This is a new inner power that will need harnessing if we really want to work some magic in our lives.

Hocus, pocus, focus:  Being a master of fire and healing forces!

We’re doing the inner fire dance round and around, maybe covering some old ground, old issues  around who we are, identity, around being a source of spiritual power for ourselves and in the world. Spiritual wounds around taking the initiative, taking the lead, feeling okay to be fired for life may arise during these months.

The physical body:  Cocooned by the retrograde journey, our bodies, cells are regenerating!  We’re transforming!

Mars is ruler of our physical body so chances are we may feel less than dynamic during his retrograde.  Retrograde planets pull us back from physical action and in doing so accelerate spiritual expansion and growth as they demand inner work. However, with this contained fiery energy, we have a chance to access some powerful physical healing in the body.  Be aware of heat surges, downloads which flood the system with light energy and power.

Awaken to the healing power which is our birthright!

The potential for physical healing is very strong during this retrograde period as Mars continues to square off to Saturn, Pluto and Jupiter in Capricorn until November. Capricorn is an earth sign, a very physically oriented sign ruling the skeleton, bones, joints and knees.

Building new cell structures:  

Believe in the healing power within and call it in!

During this period Mars will continue to square off to the Capricorn team of Pluto, Saturn and Jupiter.  Capricorn rules structures.  It’s the sign of ‘the builder’ so there’s every likelihood we can harness the intense inner healing power of Mars in challenging our bodies to build new cell structures.  Of course it’s a long term process but we get a boost with this planetary set up.

Interesting to see how astrological events are mirrored in physical reality:  Exploration of Mars

Mars entered shadow retrograde on 25th July.  Just 5 days later the space explorer vehicle ‘Perseverance’ rover was launched by NASA on a journey to Mars to collect signs of ancient life, rock and soil samples.  It will touch down on Mars on 18th February 2021 about 6 weeks after Mars moves out of shadow retrograde on 2nd January 2021.

Slowly we awaken, come to our senses, stretch, yawn and wonder:

’What happened?’

Although it will take a few weeks for Jupiter to really get up some speed to kick off out of retrograde, the fact that he is moving forward will make a difference to all of us. He is a movement oriented planet, the ruler of Sagittarius one of our freedom loving signs.

He’s been constrained on two fronts, both in retrograde motion and travelling in slow moving cautious Capricorn who wants us to put in the hard yards, the commitment, persistence, patience and focus to reach a desired goal, the top of our mountain, to be the best we can be.  He remains in Capricorn until December. Climbing high.

Gradual widespread awakening: 

Jupiter is one of the ‘social’ planets which means his impact is widespread across society.  It may feel a little like we’re starting to emerge from a mass dream like state.  For many, it’s been a nightmare.

Discipline, responsibility, good karma maybe?

We’re going to start feeling like we can stretch ourselves after a long sleep.

There’s no rush, urgency or push to activate as this will feel like a slow awakening, a feeling that we’ve come into a new day with a new impetus.

From end of September:  Eyes open, mind expanding changes emerging

Jupiter won’t really get under way until the end of September when he moves off the degree of his ‘station’. He starts to pick up speed when he moves onto 18 degrees on 29th September. That’s when we’ll get some idea of just how much we’ve grown in knowledge, wisdom and consciousness inside the labyrinth of ‘the mountain king’.

Yes, we’re still travelling in the light of the earthy Virgo Sun and the showy Leo Moon who seem to have switched roles as the light of Leo normally in full splendour in sunlight is learning to shine from within while the private, sensitive light of Virgo, so comfortable working ‘undercover’ is shining the feminine healing power into our physical bodies and worlds.

It seems appropriate with fiery Mars turning retrograde in his own sign that we join hands around the power of the fire, the lightest of the elements, the element that signifies spirit energy which keeps us going even when our other energies may be depleted.

With Jupiter, planet of expansion and growth, moving direct in Capricorn, we’re given the go ahead with one of the slower moving planets which has had immense pressure to slow down retrograde when all its energy is go, go, go. This is one big sign of what’s to come with release from this containment. 

Love and blessings to us all as we join in spirit if not physically in the promise of the beginning of release from some of the challenges of this year.  No, it’s not over yet so maintaining focus and faith in our process is vital to our renewal and recovery.
