29th May 2014 New Moon in Gemini

Hi everyone!  On the Gemini road to adventure!

Wow!  We’re travelling in the light of the Gemini Sun, seeking travel, movement...and dare I say ‘adventure’!  It’s been challenging to get to the movement with Mars pulling us back into a holding pattern.

Some of us may be feeling like we’re still dragging ourselves along as we continue with the purification process.  Last week was heavy duty for plenty of us as Mars came to a standstill, changing direction, preparing to move forward.

Physical energies returning:  by the end of the month
Hopefully you’re starting to feel the lifting of these ‘holding’ energies on our bodies and our physical existence. If you’re not yet back on deck, trust that the next couple of days, after the New Moon, will see you chugging along like the little red engine!

Mercury now in retrograde shadow until 7th June:
Ironically, just as Mars turns direct, Mercury has moved into retrograde shadow, preparing to retrograde from 7th June. This means that we’ll be tracking over this territory twice more before Mercury’s finished with us.

You may already find difficulties, confusions and challenges occurring with technology, communication of all kinds and of course commercial transactions.

The impact from any planetary change of direction is most heavily impacted when it changes direction.

What’s coming in:
This week:  A New Moon in Gemini as well as Mercury/our mind and Venus/our heart, changing signs...all on the same day!

Heart and Mind singing the same song:  As the New Moon births!
Coming to agreement!
Leading into the New Moon, heart and mind are in positive connection/a sextile with each other at 29 degrees, the last degree, signifying some kind of completion for them both.

Listen to the song of your heart and mind:
The time before the New Moon is a time when we are likely to receive insights, messages, guidance providing we are open to listening and being still and quiet enough to be in that receptive space.

With mind and heart united, we stand every good chance of really coming to peace with something that’s been keeping our minds and hearts at odds with each other.

Venus and Mercury will continue working together through the next few weeks as we focus on our physical earthly life, our emotional security with any forward movement dependent on clearing up outstanding past blocks to our achieving earthly abundance.

29th May:    New Moon in Gemini at 7 degrees 21 Gemini at 4.40 am AEST...clear the mind!
Art:  Laura Lacamara

Sun and Moon united:
New way of thinking coming in! Keep the sword handy!
With a New Moon, the Sun and Moon are on the same page, on the same degree.  They’re working together to birth a new energy, a new lunar energy for the month and for Gemini for the next year.

Mercury retrograde over the next month may find us re-treading ‘old’ and or discarded ideas which may be calling for renewal, renovation, re-working.  Just trust that whatever returns can be restored or released, depending on its current value to any forward movement.

Rebirthing the mind:  Focus on clarity and clearing any confusion!
The New Moon in Gemini brings a fresh start for our minds, a fresh perspective with an emphasis on adaptability, versatility and communication.  Gemini energy usually ushers in a time of clear thinking about 100 different things at once.  However, we may be a little challenged with that clarity in the next month.

Keep the sword of truth handy and cut free the extraneous elements when you’re feeling overburdened by worry, too many thoughts. Gemini rules the nervous system and its ruler Mercury, is our mind.  Take time out from the mental activity to connect to the heart.

Draining off the excess:  Sifting and sorting!
With an upcoming Mercury retrograde period, our Gemini snappy mind may find itself a little challenged by perhaps too much information, red herrings, old ghosts dogging our footsteps in accessing our mental acuity.  Keep clearing the excess which is clogging the thinking channel.

New Moon in square/challenge to Neptune in Pisces:
Swimming through confusion!

The higher vision calls!
The New Moon comes in with a challenge that can uplift us spiritually, artistically and emotionally OR take us into a confusing mass of tangled emotions.  Pisces is the collective unconscious.  Dive into the water and experience a new way of looking at your life and call in a new vision!

Keeping the Gemini ‘twins’ together!
Synchronised swimming!
The Gemini ‘twins’, the masculine and feminine, need to be working together as we swim through this ocean of consciousness.  Neptune opens up higher visions and a more evolved expression of the infinite possibilities of the broader canvas available to us.  What picture will you paint for yourself and your life?

Gemini is about self-love, symbolised by ‘the lovers’ tarot card:
What are you worth to you?
With Venus moving into Taurus, we couldn’t have a better time to get in touch with the self-love, self-worth, self-esteem we need to hold as we reach for our entitlement to abundance on all levels.

Our masculine/feminine energies are travelling in the same vehicle, emanating love for each other arising from our a deep love and acceptance of themselves. It is through this balance, harmony and peace within ourselves, we can contact the deep love and acceptance of our lives, of our worth.  The abundant flow is opened up as we experience the reconciliation of lost and unresolved aspects which have kept us from earthly and spiritual fulfilment.

Floating the dreams:
Let the curious Gemini mind take you to new vistas!
We’re birthing into a new consciousness and with the New Moon in Gemini, we’re looking for a razor sharp mind whilst embracing our childlike Gemini curiosity.  In Gemini time, both sides of our being, inner/outer, passive/active, feminine/masculine need to be in balance.

Mind tripping time:
Expand your thinking outside any rigid personal parameters of confinement!
Gemini is an air sign, a sign of the mind and our mental propensities. We’re being called to jump in a balloon and let it take us to new ways of viewing the world, of viewing our personal world.

Imagination is alive and well:
Crazy ideas offer crazy solutions!
Inventive avenues come to the fore!
The current energies along with this New Moon are offering a breakout from ‘stuckness’, from the status quo.  Don’t be surprised if you come up with some radical solutions to long standing problems through this next month.  With the Grand Water Trine energy clearing so much emotional blockage from our lives, barriers seem to be just falling away.  The Sabian Symbol for the New Moon sums this up beautifully. See below.

From Lynda Hill Sabian Symbols for the New Moon:  http://sabiansymbols.typepad.com/
The Sabian Symbol for the new Moon is Gemini 8:
Aroused Strikers Surround A Factory.
What is it that has you, or others, riled up? Do you feel like just sitting down and doing nothing, or, are you feeling like taking it to the streets, yelling and screaming against the inequities of what's going on. I think there's going to be a lot of protesting and complaints as the imbalances in society are getting rather too imbalanced to be sustainable.

‘Aroused Strikers Surround a Factory’ - they are obviously unhappy with their work, their pay or their conditions, and they are now on ‘Strike’. In some measure, they are not putting up with what they’re receiving for their efforts. For the moment, this has probably stopped anyone from benefiting from anything as events have come to a standstill. This Symbol pictures a power struggle where there is a disagreement over how something of value is to be shared. It may be about work conditions, or the distribution of wealth that results from what people are expected to do. What is the incentive for putting in the effort? The ‘Strikers’ may be calm, but all hell could break loose, turning into a full-blown demonstration with placards, yelling and violence.
What is really needed is a discussion over the need for one’s rights to be heard and hopefully worked out. There is an obvious imbalance of power and now it is time to consider what negotiations can be made. It may be difficult to find creative solutions, but that is probably what is needed now. If you are in a situation where you need to stand up for your rights, or entitlements, or for those of a group, you will probably need the support of others. This could be your co-workers, friends or family. Try to enlist the help of those who feel the same as you, but at the same time take care to be sure that the cause is justified. There is an element of imbalance and emotion here. Is what’s being said really being heard by those who need to hear? Are the ‘Strikers’ asking too much? Justice can only come through negotiation, mutual consideration and a fair sharing of rewards. Once this is accomplished, everyone can come back together, working towards common goals in a more satisfying atmosphere.

Keywords: Bargaining to find more equitable solutions. Demanding better rights and conditions. Comradeship. Disruption of the normal flow. Not wanting to contribute or work. The need to take time aside to consider one’s position. Taking action or refusing to act. Strikes and strikers. Demonstrations. Peace rallies. Standing up for others. Scab labor. Sweat shops. Slave labor. Strikes. Bosses. Workers. Placard waving.

The Caution: Being obsessed with what is desired. Refusing any compromises. Going without one’s due in order to protest. Being locked out of situations because of one’s actions or attitude. Being left out in the street. Greedy behavior. Asking for more than one’s share. Being overworked and underpaid. Shutting down.

29th May:    Venus moves into Taurus at 11.45 am AEST...love, abundance and fulfilment!
until 23rd June

Mother Earth is calling our hearts to love:
love of our physical earthly lives!
Venus is the ruler of Taurus as well as Libra.  When she returns to Taurus, she is a calling us to get in touch with our heartfelt connection with our physical existence on earth.

Are you open to receive absolute abundance?
Letting go of ‘blocks’ to receiving the love and abundance of the earth
Mother Earth is calling our hearts to open to our entitlement to abundance.  We have aspects, beliefs, memories of our less conscious selves from this or other lives which can pull us out of the flow of abundance.  Judgmental attitudes towards ourselves or others regarding entitlement or worthiness will block us from being in the universal flow of abundance.

Venus rules love and money:  Call in love and let the abundance flow!
Take extra time to connect to beauty, love and harmony during this time until 23rd June.  Feel the protective love of Mother Earth who takes care of us.

Let go of the worry, fear and insecurity which drives away the flow of abundance.

Venus comes home:  Make the most of this beautiful energy!
Uplift hearts to embrace the magnanimity of earth’s abundance and cut free of any limiting thoughts and emotions.  More love, more life!

29th May:    Mercury moves into Cancer at 7.11 pm AEST...we’re travelling by water...together!
until 17th June

Emotional connection with family, soul family, home and emotional security:  Connecting to loved ones!
Mercury launches into the waters of Cancer, not it’s most comfortable place as this placement calls for our minds to connect to our emotions.  We’re called to talk about, think about, feel our emotions and express our emotions to loved ones.

Where is your home, where do you belong:
Memories come forward to help us find what comforts our soul!
Cancer is a home and family energy.  It calls us to find our deepest security, our place of belonging whether at work or home.  Cancer rules memories and the past, so it’s likely that we’ll be looking back to comforting and happy times which gave us a sense of place and belonging.  With Mercury taking us back to the past from the 7th, this revisiting of the past, of our roots, ancestry, home and family is doubled in intensity.  We’ll be looking to the past to resolve any discomfort in the present.  It’s back to grassroots in more ways than one!

Problem solving:
Paying attention to our emotions, our responses and reactions!
Mercury, our mind energy, likes to solve problems through the intellect.  In Cancer, he’s called to his inner voice, his intuitive guidance, his gut instinct to come to grips with the emotions which can lift us up or take us down.  This is all about mental awareness of what’s happening to us emotionally.  When we’re aware of our emotional connection/disconnection to the world, we’re in a good position to negotiate the waters of change.

After the New Moon:
Mind and heart focussed on physical and emotional comfort

Venus and Mercury in the new signs of Taurus and Cancer respectively:
Physical and emotional comfort come to importance!
Taurus is about our physical comfort and enjoyment of the earth and our earthly existence and Cancer is about home, family and emotional security and comfort.

A push for a more fulfilling life on earth:
Gemini Sun shines on our efforts as minds and hearts are stimulated to find peace, joy and abundance!
In the next few weeks, we’ll be putting extra energy into getting our emotional and physical worlds into a place of comfort and security within ourselves.  This focus may take us into exploring new areas of investigation which will fulfil our hopes and desires with respect to home, family, work and money.

This card and message from Isha Lerner conveys so much of the Gemini energy.  The power of single pointed thinking and focus!
Ace of Swords

When the Ace of Swords appears for you, tap into your power of one-pointed thinking. Seize hold of your divine will and yield it as a tool to vanquish negative thoughts. Remember that to live by fate is to be controlled by circumstances beyond your control. To "follow your destiny" is to honor your spiritual heritage and recognize that you came into this world for a clear purpose. By removing the sword from the stone, you are learning to explore your mental powers. The stone itself is the resistance of oppressive conditions. This card can indicate the birthing of a new way of thinking and the demise of illusions. It may signify the start of an intellectual project, the writing of a book or the beginning of a journey.

Upcoming Dates:
7th June:    Mercury turns retrograde until 1st July
10th June:    Neptune stations direct in Pisces

13th June:    Full Moon in Sagittarius

That’s it folks! We’re on the road again with the Gemini energies lining up!

Sure, steady and thorough:    HOWEVER, the road won’t be necessarily straightforward as Mercury is in retrograde shadow, then into retrograde movement on 7th.  As well, Mars is still in retrograde shadow until mid July.  Mars and Mercury are the energies which keep us moving in our physical world, so we can assume there will be some forwards, backwards movement and taking things at a steady speed rather than full bore hectic!  Not such a bad thing after all.  At least, these energies will ensure we are sure, steady and thorough.

Float the dreams, dive to the depths and keep that vehicle moving with regular tea/coffee breaks on the way.  The heart will hold us and the mind once harnessed can keep us focussed!

Love and blessings everyone!  We are creating abundance for all on this planet despite the wall of resistance from the status quo.

21st May 2014 Sun moves into Gemini

Hi everyone!

This is a photo of last week’s Full Moon shining on ‘The Three Sisters’, a famous rocky outcrop of 3 sentinels at Katoomba in the Blue Mountains Australia...where I live.  Much Aboriginal folk lore is associated with these ‘3 sisters’ once believed to be the 7 sisters of the Pleiades.  Like the native American Indians, the Australian Aboriginal people have stories about the ‘star nations’, particularly the Pleiades and Sirius, the brightest fixed star in our skies.

What’s been happening:  Letting go of the karmic burdens.
Last week’s Scorpio Full Moon was a beauty in more ways than one!
We’re dropping off so much karmic baggage and the burden of damaging belief systems carried on this earth for so long.  Time for letting go of any memories, karmic patterns and belief systems that life is pain, suffering and hard work.

Out of the eclipse vortex:  looking for action!
You’ve probably been feeling the urge to get going, especially in the last week when Mercury moved ‘home’ to Gemini.  Mars and Mercury both like movement and SPEED!  You probably felt like the mind was way ahead of the body.  Mars is going to start catching up this week.  Breathe a sigh of relief!  We won’t be back to full capacity for about 7 to 10 days.

The past month under the Taurus Sun:
slow and ponderous, grounding and earthy!
The Sun has been travelling through Taurus, an earth sign, a sign which governs the material world, the physical dimension, which means it’s been a slow and ponderous month. We’ve been called to ground, to go to ground, to rest and regenerate our physical beings and restore our wellbeing.  Mars retrograde has added to this slowdown physically.

What’s coming in:
Lifting off!  Two significant events this week...both offering forward movement and change!
Mars stations direct after 10 weeks of retrograde movement and the Sun moves into Gemini.  Mars and Mercury (Gemini’s ruler) are the two planets which give speed and movement.

A warning:    Still some slowing of energies
Mars will take a little while to get up speed and Mercury is about to move into retrograde shadow, preparing to go retrograde on 6th June.

Be assured, we will notice a difference in getting things moving in our lives and reclaiming our bodies, ready for action.

20th May:
Mars stations direct at 11.31 am AEST at 9 degrees 2 Libra...yippee!

Out of the eclipse tunnel and crossing a bridge into new territory!

Fire up the engines!
Mars is changing direction out of retrograde direction and moving forward!

Moving FORWARD:   Mars/our drive and fire, is on the move!   Finally!!!!
As of 20th, Mars is gathering steam and very slowly moving FORWARD! Mars has been in retrograde since the beginning of March, 2 and a 1/2 months of slowdown and lessening of drive and passion.

For next 7 to 10 days:
Slowly, slowly, gradually gathering speed!  Still need for patience!
When planets change direction, they virtually come to a standstill before they move in their new direction, forward or retrograde.  So, be aware that we’re not travelling at full speed just yet.
It will take a little while for our engines to gain momentum, so be patient just a bit longer whilst we reclaim our physical bodies and action in the world.

Mars in Libra until July:    Ongoing balancing act!
Mars doesn’t move out of Libra until the last week of July, when it will move on to Scorpio.  It’s been an extra long transit for Mars in Libra, not the most comfortable sign for Mars as Libra demands balance between action and stillness, drive and waiting, extroverted and introverted energies.  Our Mars fire energy has been very much contained and getting a workover.  How he’s transformed will manifest fully when he moves into Scorpio.  Mars was originally ruler of Scorpio. In Scorpio, we’ll find out how much he’s learned about working in harmony with the Venusian energies of balance, harmony and peace.

Between now and July:   'Everything old is new again'
Mars still in Libra, moving out of retrograde ‘shadow’ in mid July...but on the move!
We’re covering ‘old’ territory between now and mid July.  That means we might find ourselves revisiting some issues and finding either we need to do some final clearing up or that ‘old’ issues are cleared already.  We might find out exactly how much we have resolved and experience some deep healing peace.

Being the Little Red Engine:  ‘I think I can’...I can!
The little red engine was chuffing along ‘til he came to a great big hill
He said I must chuff and never stop
I must chuff, chuff, chuff ‘til I reach the top
I think I can, I think I can, I think I can, I think I can
And he chuffed right over the hill
WHOO-OO-WHOO!

20th May:  Mars stationing direct...all steamed up and nowhere to go!
Slow physically, tired, exhausted, emotional...take your pick!
You may well have felt a few ‘wobblies’ on 20th when Mars came to stillness.  Again, depends on the particular impact in your natal chart, your particular ‘brief’.  However, many of you could well have felt exhausted, emotional, irritated, angry, fearful, depressed, grief struck or any other number of emotions as the physical body was releasing so much karmic memory. The slow down/standstill was coming in for the past week and is still with us, although the crucial turning point time would have felt most uncomfortable.

It felt like so much unresolved cell memory was being flushed out of the physical body.  Mars is our body and when we are releasing from it, we are likely to feel wrung out with a need for rest and recovery.  We just can’t operate in our regular way in the physical world.

Stephanie Azaria’s ‘Daily Weather’  sums it up:    www.cosmicpath.com
May 20
That was a bumpy Mars station, wasn’t it? Maybe it’s because Mars rules the physical body and all of our energy and Libra is the sign that presides over our physicality, (that is, BEING physical), together with the fact that we have just been through a huge process of physical transmutation, that this turning around of Mars is SO different from any other time. We are not what we were when Mars went retrograde. We are so completely transformed. We now need to navigate our way back to the end of Libra, the master degree, where we will once again be able to realize dominion over our new physicality.

21st May:    Sun moves into Gemini at 12.59 pm AEST...breath of fresh air!  Spread your wings!

Lighten up: Time  to fly!  Stretching the mind!  Chat, tweet & message!
Gemini is an air sign, sign which governs the mind, the world of ideas and communication as well as commerce, teaching and learning.  All these areas come under the spotlight for the next month until the Equinox.  Gemini thrives on interaction and communication with others.  It’s a talk fest...exhausting, stimulating and fun.

Mingle, mingle, mingle:  Let’s party!
Mercury, Gemini’s ruler,  likes speed, movement and lots of action and interaction with others.  Looks like a busy month with plenty of socialising and networking, learning and growing through the mental connections!

Balloons at the ready:

Floating ideas, dreams:

A melting pot of ‘smarties’!
The Gemini energy ignites the mind with a million ideas mixing and matching with each other in a creative melting pot creating new possibilities.  It’s about exploring, investigating and experiencing the adventure of the expanded mind.

Commercial ventures:    Lift off!
At least until Mercury, Gemini’s ruler, turns retrograde on 6th June.
Make the most of the Gemini networking, communication and social skills during this time to establish new contacts in your field of endeavour.

Mercury retrograde:  6th to 30th June
A good part of the Gemini Sun period will be with Mercury retrograde, which means Mercury has an extended stay in Gemini this year.  That time will be spent reviewing, clarifying, gathering data and honing our mental approach to life.  At least it will give some much needed breathing space from the Mercury in Gemini period which has been hurrying our minds ahead of our physical existence which, with Mars retrograde, hasn’t been able to keep up.

Spiritually:
Gemini is represented by ‘the twins’, a dual sign calling for balance!
Gemini is one of the dual signs which challenge us to maintain balance in our lives.  For Gemini, our mind is the key as it is a mentally focussed energy which can pull us in two conflicting directions, if we allow that to happen.  This energy is about allowing both sides of our minds and hearts, the artistic and the intellectual, the introvert and the extrovert, the passive and the active...to have full expression in our lives.

The Lovers card in the Tarot:
The Gemini card representing masculine and feminine in harmony and balance!  Self love!
The Lovers card is a representation of self-love, of balance and harmony within the self as well as expressed in relationship to others.

Love and acceptance of self:
Positive connections flow on from our own self love!
Love and accept yourself and you are in a good energy for loving and accepting others and become receptive to a positive, balanced intimate relationship with a significant other. We all know this, but practising faith and acceptance in ourselves is more difficult than it seems as we experience the collective energies of guilt, shame, blame, self-punishment, criticism and judgmental attitudes.  If we’re feeling negative emotions towards others, there’s ongoing work to do.

From mid May to end of May:
Jupiter, Chiron and Saturn working together...healing water trines!
The past week has brought powerful healing forces have been at work on our emotional bodies, providing karmic release of patterns and collective energies.  Past lives, lost souls, trapped earth energies being released by a planetary configuration that is giving clearance to us all, providing we take advantage of the opportunity to let go in whatever way works for you.

Emotional:
Cry if you need!  Do a physical workout!  Scream!  Whatever works...better out than in!
A collective sigh of relief!
Is it pain?  Is it joy?  No need to examine it.  It’s emotion that needs release.  We are not just releasing these locked in energies for ourselves.  This is a collective release of grief, pain, fear as those locked in energies are brought to the light of freedom.

Mid June:
Chiron and Saturn in close trine...positive release of emotional karmic and collective wounds!
Chiron and Saturn will come up close and personal in mid June.  This will be a big opportunity for release of long held collective energies which we’re all carrying.  By then, Jupiter has moved on from these two planets, but will still be in close proximity, expanding the emotional impact and carrying the message of the collective nature of this whole process.

15th May 2014 Full Moon in Scorpio

Art:  'Journey Home' Rassouli

Hi everyone!

Yes!  Resurrection and revival is at hand as we step out of the eclipse energies and find ourselves in new territory.

Here we come!  Out of the tunnel into the light of a new day, filled with the light of a Full Moon in Scorpio!

Out of the past 6 weeks of confusion, ‘unknowingness’, dissipated energy and containment in the change process.

Culmination of this eclipse cycle:  Emergence!
The Scorpio Full Moon marks the end of this eclipse period which has taken has through an amazing change process combined as it has been with the Grand Cardinal Cross including the 5th meeting of the Uranus/Pluto Square.

The new doors are open for a new chapter.  Embrace the death of the old ways and new possibilites emerging over the next 2 weeks up to the Gemini New Moon.

15th May:    Full Moon in Scorpio at 5.15 am AEST at 23 degrees 55 Scorpio...transformation!

Endings are inevitable:
Scorpio rules death, rebirth and transformation, whilst Full moons bring something to completion, culmination.  Transformation is inevitable!

Close the doors of the past:
Letting the ‘ghosts’ go!
A Scorpio Full Moon brings in a sense of finality with doors closing behind us.  Ghosts will  be laid to rest this time...if we are prepared to let them go.  There is a tendency for us all to go back and rake over the bones of the past, reliving any pain, regret, heartache, disappointment or grief.

Saturn in close proximity to the Full Moon:    Karmic patterns released!

Saturn rules karma and being so close to the Full Moon, which is about letting go and a Scorpio Full Moon which is about BIG LETTING GO, the opportunity for major release of the haunting ghosts of the past, is at hand!

Revelations and insights:  Scorpio parts the veils of illusion!
Secrets revealed!
 Art: 'Half Hidden' Jillian Tamaki

The Full Moon brings the greatest light to our subconscious, bringing to light memories which need release as well as knowledge about ourselves. Scorpio is the master of secrets and the hidden depths and when the full moon in Scorpio arrives, the veil is parted for us to see into our souls and into the soul of humanity.

Information is likely to come forward from within and without at this time.  Information about who we are, what we desire, our future direction as well information about others in both our private lives and in the public eye!

Inner authority brought to light:
Focus on earthly manifestation from that inner light!
With Saturn rubbing shoulders with the Full Moon, we are likely to be put in touch with our inner spiritual authority which
is the wellspring of our power to manifest in the world.  Let’s not forget that Saturn rules Capricorn, a powerful earth energy which has the capacity to bring earthly dreams into manifested form.

The Full Moon opposite the Taurus Sun:
A balancing act between the material abundance of Taurus and Scorpionic destruction!

We have to destroy and release what is undermining our forward movement if we are to be fulfilled in our earthly existence.  Life is filled with these endings which lead us to new beginnings.  We all know this, even though at times we struggle with the letting go of the familiar.

Surrender the unhealthy attachments to materialism at the expense of inner spiritual depth:
The Taurus Sun calls us on to earthly abundance, love, prosperity and well being whilst the Scorpio Full Moon calls us to slash, burn, release whatever holds us from attaining joy on earth.  If there’s been an over reliance on the earthly at the expense of the spiritual fire within, this Full Moon will bring it to light.

At this Full Moon:

Venus conjunct/close to Uranus in Aries in square/challenge to Pluto in Capricorn:  Heart awakening rebellion!
This aspect will bring forth energies in our heart which will help us release issues related to love and money.
In Astrology, Venus rules both love and money.  Pluto rules deep power and big money/government/multinationals etc.

Not surprisingly the austere Australian budget has just been announced under the leadership of a Scorpio Prime Minister.  It’s very much a slash and burn in relation to public services such as health, the aged, education and the unemployed.  I guess someone and some governments have to destroy the illusion of a patriarchal system which cares for its citizens!  Just my take on it of course.

On the personal level:
Breaking with the bonds of tradition and letting the heart have her head!
Personally, this energy gives us the power to break out of the heavy energies of Pluto in Capricorn which is about systemic change of the status quo.  Watch the next 2 weeks for these bonds of the past to keep releasing as we head to the New Moon in Gemini on 29th May.

Rebellious Uranus is firing up our heart energy, increasingly so over the next week as Venus and Uranus come to a meeting in a couple of days.

Don’t be surprised if you take what appears to be sudden and unexpected action which breaks you through to new territory!  After this Full Moon, anything could happen!

15th May:
Out of the eclipse vortex through the Scorpio Full Moon doorway!
Phoenix rises!  Resurrection is nigh!
The Phoenix is associated with the Scorpio energies which carry the death/rebirth/transformation energies.  When we have trouble letting go, it’s a good idea to keep in mind the Phoenix and its capacity to be reborn in a stronger, more powerful form.

Body recalibration:
Anything’s possible with the Scorpio Full Moon assisted by Saturn, Master of Manifestation!
I certainly have been feeling a gradual release of the heavy energies since the New Moon in Taurus but have to stay ‘on the job’ as the masses awake to the imprisonment and the fear that arises with that sense that life isn’t what they thought it to be.  Of course, those who are most affected, are likely to feel these arising emotions in their bodies.  Sensitives/empaths most vulnerable.  Daily ‘cleansing’ is vital for us all in these times. Just call in the light!

From Rev. Irma Kaye Sawyer:
First Full  Moon of May is known as the Wesak or ‘Buddha’Moon
The Wesak or “Buddha” moon (first Full Moon of May,) is one of the most spiritually powerful of the year. Based on history and legend, it is when the two streams of consciousness represented by Master Jesus Christ and Lord Buddha, come together to illuminate the Earth and all sentient beings upon her (if they would so receive the blessing.) This moon is one of my absolute favorites, and this year it will be making contacts with the Grand Water Trine (Jupiter in Cancer, Saturn in Scorpio and Neptune in Pisces.) That's a lot of water to dream on, indeed!

The Sabian Symbol for the full Moon is Scorpio 24:
Crowds Coming Down The Mountain To Listen To One Inspired Man.
‘Crowds’ are ‘Coming Down The Mountain To Listen To One Inspired Man’. There is a message that needs to be heard and people are making their way to the ‘One’ who can deliver it. There must be a reason for them to come ‘Down the Mountain to Listen’ - there is probably something important and stimulating that they come together to receive. This ‘One Inspired Man’ probably has some gift, certainly they are likely to have the gift of speech, knowledge and communication. There’s no guarantee, however, that everyone is going to be receptive to what’s being said; people will have many different responses to the messages being given. Although it’s fairly clear that not all will be swayed, the message is likely to resonate with many.
Whether you are one amongst the ‘Crowds’ or you are, indeed, the ‘Inspired Man’, you may feel that you have had some wonderful realizations and insights and now you need to bring these insights, these messages, ‘Down’, from ‘The Mountain’, and integrate them into your everyday life in some way. It’s wonderful to be turned on by an inspired speaker or message, but what will be done with these revelations or new information? The truth may very well lie within yourself - listening to the positive messages from your higher self, or from others who can lift your focus. This can move you to take charge of your less positive thoughts and actions. However, there may need to be some kind of thoughtful discrimination about what’s being said as blindly accepting what’s being imparted can lead to a loss of one’s individual mindset.
Keywords: Power to sway the feelings and thoughts of many. The ability to draw a large audience. The Jesus story. Giving one’s power away to those who apparently have more authority. Charisma. Having a large audience. The minds and the ears of the many. Oratory skills. Gurus. Listening. Ascending the mountain to achieve a purer state of being. Lecturing.
The Caution: Naiveté, gullibility. Feeling like someone else holds all the answers, but you don’t. Situations that smack of guru mentality. Idolatry and the manipulation that can result from it. Never knowing when to keep quiet. Forcing ideas on others when they don’t really want to listen. Not letting anyone else get a word in. Demanding attention. Feeling above everyone else. Snobbery.
