28th January 2017 New Moon in Aquarius/Chinese New Year

 
Hi everyone!
 
We’re travelling in the light of the Aquarian Sun calling us to step out of the comfort zone and choose freedom over staying in the comfort zone of maintaining the status quo.  Is there a fox in the henhouse?  More like a rooster!  Waking us all up big time!
It’s a new dawn, a new day and we’re learning to expand our visions whilst reassuring ourselves with the comforting words that help us accept the love and safety of taking refuge in our divinity, our evolved consciousness and our divine connections.
 
 
What’s been happening:  Crossing the bridge!
What a time is happening on this planet and with humanity.  Of course it’s ongoing from the past few years with all the disruptions to the status quo both personally and globally across the planet.
 
However, the past week or two has highlighted the American political situation which is playing out so much of what is happening within all nations and all people, whether or not they know. 
 
Polarity and divisiveness intensified: 
The polarity and divisiveness that has driven this world for aeons has intensified.  It is physically evident in the political and economic worlds as well as in whole social fabric of our societies.  All these polarities are a reflection of the changes happening within us as we reach for a more evolved consciousness, a ‘better’ world built on unity and love.   
 
Crossing the bridge and bridging the gap:   
Jupiter in Libra opposing/challenging/bridging with Uranus/Eris in Aries
This process of extremities being further polarised and the gap widening is a call for all of us to own the separation within between our split minds, hearts and spirits. 
Jupiter brings truth, wisdom, expansion of higher consciousness in the sign of Libra. Justice will be done, equity restored and balance, harmony and peace the daily focus for us all as we come to terms with the awakening of our fire and drive.  Eris, the feminine energies of the awakening process, is a major player in this awakening process as her connection to Uranus, the masculine expression is a rare occurrence. 
 
Year of the red fire rooster, yin energy:  Working with Eris!  Mother hen is back!
Let’s not forget that whilst we are entering the Chinese Year of the red fire rooster, it is a Yin, a feminine energy which will be manifesting throughout this year.  Is this the matriarchal energy reasserting herself?  Could well be.  But it’s not about being ‘cock of the walk’. 
 
The Little Red Hen: ‘Who will help me plant, cut, grind the wheat?  Make the flour, bread,  bake the bread?  ‘Not I’ they said  so ‘I will do it myself’!
With Eris coming into power as a force to be reckoned with, she is working in tandem with Uranus.  It’s about balanced leadership by the masculine/feminine partnership.  But I would imagine many will find that ‘Mother is back’ will be evidenced across the world globally and personally.  The social fabric is being repaired with respect to home, family, care, nurturing. love, belonging and sustenance.  When ‘mother’ within and without attends to these areas, balance is restored.
 
Who will help me eat the bread?’ ‘I will’ they all said.  ‘No’, she said.  ‘I will eat it myself’!
Such a good moral to this story about everyone working together to experience the fullness of the rewards.  Let’s apply this learning to our spiritual focus for the coming year.  All in and focussed on the peace, prosperity and love on this earth.
 
2017 shift in consciousness is ongoing: 
The bridge between Jupiter and the Eris/Uranus energies will be with us for most of this year
However, at present, the social fabric is being ripped apart and we are witnessing actions which have the attention of those who have been complacent and unaware.  This will be ongoing for this year.  So, my friends, as so many of us have been awakening and being awakened for many years, our earth family is being shocked into awareness of the power of their divine core. 
 
28th January:  Mercury moves out of shadow retrograde

This feels like all systems go, especially as Mercury’s move into the light is ahead, by just a few hours, of the New Moon energies.  Mars moving into his sign Aries the day after the New Moon just adds to the sense that things are on the move one way or another.
 
We’re abseiling down the cliff face and getting ready to launch a few new ideas and possibilities.  With the way the world is at this time with such uncertain and destabilising political energies, it may seem to be a little precarious to take a chance. Rest assured that Capricorn’s cautious energy will not let Mercury take off into something that may be detrimental to our growth and expansion.
 
Capricorn is an earth sign and wants to maintain tradition so despite the wild card of the New Moon in Aquarius throwing up all manner of jail breaking options, from Mercury’s point of view we’re likely to take a more considered pathway which offers a step by step progress.  Mercury, our mind power, will be needing to take charge over the Mars in Aries energies coming through on 29th January as a reckless wildness can inflame with passion and desire.  It’s all a balancing act! So, what’s new!
 
From 7th to 26th February:  Mercury in Aquarius will provide some uplift and wind beneath our wings when our minds can take flight!
 
 
28th January:  New Moon in Aquarius at 8 degrees 15 Aquarius at 11.07 am AEDT...up we go!
 
We’re taking our ‘stairway to the stars’, embracing our radical thinking, connecting with our personal ‘stars’, our ideals and bigger picture vision of ourselves as Aquarius’ planetary ruler expands our consciousness to think outside the box. to seek the answers, solutions for discovering our next step forward in the world. 
 
New Moon time:  Planting the seeds of our ideas...bringing our ‘stars’ to earth!
We still have to bring these stars back to earth and start planting them at this New Moon. With the mental energies of the Aquarian New Moon filling our minds, the seeds of the new are calling us to bring our new ideas into the earthy realm.  We’re bringing the stars of possibility to earth and grounding them into the soil of our lives.
 
Ideas and possibilities abound:
Just remember they are seeds of new beginnings and try to stay with that mental energy because once Mars moves into Aries after this New Moon, we’ll want to be up and running and will need to contain and harness our new found excitement and passion so we stay focussed on the desired direction.

It’s an all Aquarian energy where our masculine and feminine energies are reaching for the galactic energies, being stretched into new ways of thinking and being.  Be open to the ideas and the novelty of discovering your unique self and the potential for bringing forward your unique signature into the world.
 
Aquarius rules:  Hopes and dreams, community, friends and humanity!  Being the star of your own life!
This is the New Moon to reach for that star of yours, the one that carries your hopes and dreams.  Community can mean anything from your geographical area to the wider community of humanity, connections through the world wide web and connections through common humanitarian desires.  These are all areas where we can call in the insights and guidance as we connect to the outer galactic energies of higher consciousness.
Uranus, as Aquarius’ ruler, offers unusual possibilities and more evolved ways of viewing the world and bringing inventive solutions into the earth sphere.
 
Planetary energies at this New Moon:
 
Venus, our heart energy and Mars, our physical body, fire and drive in close conversation with Chiron in Pisces!
Uplifting and upgrade spiritually!
Healing and balancing of the masculine and feminine energies in the collective unconscious!
Working with the rebalancing energies of the Jupiter and Uranus/Eris ‘bridge’ we are working on bringing equity and balance into our emotional lives and spiritual consciousness. 
With Mars and Venus both in Pisces it’s a reunion in the Pisces ocean of the collective. 
 
At this New Moon, the Jupiter bridge with Uranus/Eris is linked in to Saturn in Sagittarius working on deconstructing mindsets and the status quo whilst offering new vistas of possibility.  We’re being called to look to the future and bring in new ways of living based on divine laws and energies.  It is those of us at the forefront who need to paint the pictures of what’s possible when we all flow together in harmony.  However, the ideals need to be aligned with 5D reality for such creations to be birthed.  There’s a whole new foundation for living, ethics and principles which is being birthed as fast as the old structures are dismantling.

29th January:  Mercury meets Pluto in Capricorn
Purging of the mental energies held within the physical world of the system!
At the New Moon Pluto is in close conversation with Mercury in Capricorn building to their meeting on 29th.  We may well feel some more stripping away of more mindsets which are holding us back.  Just remember Capricorn is the establishment, the status quo and Mercury has curiosity and likes to investigate. Mental clearance and purging continues through the new moon time and Mercury starts a new chapter with Pluto as they meet.  Let’s not forget Mercury’s about communication so much of this could relate to the world’s affairs as well as our own personal situation.  Maybe a new approach, a new round of talks!

Spiritually firing our ‘I am’ energy:  The spirit of physicality is awakened!

Mars is the ruler of Aries, our masculine warrior energy that’s interested in the spiritual fire that kickstarts our physicality and action in the world.  Let’s not forget that Mars is ruler of our physical body.  For so many of us who feel they’ve been languishing on the lounge, overwhelmed by lethargy, this will be a welcome arrival to get us up and moving.  Talk about the Little Red Hen!  It’s Astroboy!
 
 
Fired up and lifting off!  Up and away!
This is pure masculine energy firing us up to take action in the world.   With the airy energy of Aquarius lifting us off with radical departures from old ways of thinking, we’re now being given the fire and drive of spirit, our ‘I am’ energy, our pure authentic self.
 
Purification continues but with more fire and energy helping us!
Yes, we’re still on the job with the purification process and that will involve our Venus heart energies as Venus is just about to move into her shadow retrograde readying for her actual retrograde period.  This will involve a realignment of our heart’s desires and maybe some re-working and clearing of any resistant energies in our hearts. 
 
We’ll still be making inroads from this time forth and re-working as we go.  We’re off!
 
 
 
29th January:  Venus enters retrograde shadow at 24 degrees Pisces...spiritual growth spurt!

When we enter retrograde shadow it means that whatever happens at a heart level from now until 4th March we’ll be revisiting from 15th April, after Venus’ retrograde period. 
 
The value of knowing this is recognising that whilst our Mars, physical drive and energy is accelerating, our heart is taking it easy, slowing down to make sure everything’s aligned at our heart centre. Even so, Venus will be joining Mars in Aries on 3rd February which will certainly offer some fire , drive and passion to our hearts.  Anything could happen!  More of that in next update.
 
Of course Mercury, our mental energy and the other mover and shaker is treading slowly along in Capricorn making sure our mental foundations are in place and solid. 
 
When Mercury hits Aquarius on 7th February we’ll get an airy uplift in our mind energy and this will clear some cobwebs away from our thinking with some new clarity coming forward.  Helped along by the Full Moon in Leo eclipse on 11th February.

20th January 2017 Sun moves into Aquarius

 
Hi everyone!
 
We’re now out of the light of the Capricorn Sun.  It’s been quite a journey through the mountainous terrain to the top of the mountain.  For many of us it’s been an exhausting, emotionally draining month with the clearance of so much of the planetary and ancestral memories being flushed out of us spiritually, emotionally and physically.
 
Last week’s Cancer Full Moon was a culmination, a letting go and turning point for so much ‘stuff’ we’ve been carrying. This letting go process is flowing through until we rebirth with the New Moon in Aquarius at the end of January. 
 
We’ve been purifying and marking time:
The Mercury retrograde period slap being in the middle of the Capricorn solar month has added to the review, revision and letting go while we practiced patience and marking time. Nothing less than stillness worked for us. 
 
We’re getting our boots on...primed for moving forward:
If you got this and went with it, I imagine you’re starting to feel the benefits now as we start to lift up to the bigger picture.
Once Mercury moves out of shadow retrograde on 28th January, we will notice a decided uplift as it accompanies the New Moon in Aquarius energies.
 
The past week: 
Recovering but still shifting the ‘burdens and karmic loads from our being...gaining new perspectives!
This past week we’ve been looking out from the top of our sacred mountain, tired and recovering our equilibrium after the Full Moon in Cancer release of so much of our burden.  However. these past few days have had their own particular challenges as Mars, our masculine warrior, ruler of our physical body, our fire and drive came into contact with Chiron, then Jupiter followed by Saturn in a series of connections guaranteed to shift a whole lot of emotional, physical and spiritual pain. 
 
Agin’ the guv’ment:  
Mars squaring off/challenging Saturn this past week!
Mars, ruler of our physical body, our fire and drive, our masculine warrior energy is in a challenge with Saturn, Lord of Karma, builder and head foreman/woman of our social construction site.
 
All the forces of the earth and humanity are bringing us to surrender to a higher consciousness:  There’s gotta be a better way!  There is!
Between the extreme weather impacting the northern and southern hemispheres in a variety of locations along with the impending major political, economic and social changes in USA as well as ongoing conflicts and war around the world, we’re really getting ‘done over’ to ‘give it up’!  You might say ‘give up what’?  We’re learning to let go of the struggle, of trying to control from the small mind that which can’t be controlled. 
 
Hands up those who believe in the power of energy as a creative force for change:
If, as so many of us do, believe that energetic forces create and mould our realities why then can’t we heal the earth and the water despite the ‘destroyers’ digging up the earth, polluting the air and water etc.  Without doubt, we are party to the destruction, not just because we use the earth’s resources in a physical sense but because we despair of changing the energies.  Too many do not take up the call to purify and cleanse the earth itself with the mental and spiritual focus and the emotional power of pure love.  Let’s not forget Dr Emoto and his demonstrations of energetic power with water. 
 
This past month we’ve shifted more of the earthbound stuck energies within humanity and the earth herself:  Taking charge of the primal forces!
In Capricorn time we’re called to lift our eyes from our actual physical reality and rise above the old path of karmic burdens, hard work and struggle.  It is the call of the Capricorn earth sign to have us experience the earthiness of our reality and to bring our energetic response through a spiritual authority, guided by Saturn, ruler of Capricorn. Capricorn is ruled by ‘The Devil’ card in the Tarot, the energy of untamed wild forces within all of us which we can harness for creative growth and expansion in the joy of life.  The proof of our progress is preparing to manifest through the sign of Aquarius. 
 
 
20th January:  Sun moves into Aquarius at 8.24 am AEDT...stepping up to the stars!
Until 18th February
We’re now lifting off from the earthy journey of the past month taking off into the Aquarian Sun, a different landscape, somewhat surreal and unearthly. We’re still moving through the grey clouds as they open up the space for us to visualise something in line with our ideals, our hopes and dreams. 
 
Freedom is calling us on:  The doors are opening our minds and hearts!
We are shifting mountains of  energy...the light of liberation calling us on...and are now looking to the cosmos.  The view is big, expansive and multidimensional. We’re gradually letting go of having to watch our feet grounding on the earth as we prepare to lift into new dimensions to access our unique gifts and talents.  Quirky is the key word!
 
Breaking out of the mindsets and belief systems:
Aquarius is the rule breaker and demands that we release the bonds of servitude in our beings in order to access our unique signature and find divine creative fulfilment. Being in a ‘1’ universal year there’s never been a better time to make some conscious choices which set down the foundations for this year and the next 9 year cycle.
 
Physical manifestations of the drive for spiritual liberation:  Aquarius in action!
Since I wrote all of the above words, there’s been quite a shift manifesting on the planet.  I’m referring to Donald Trump’s inauguration and the resultant protests around the world. It’s not just about politics.  This is about the balancing of the masculine/feminine energies on the planet, in every one of us. 
 
 
We live in a 3 dimensional world and now are stepping up to 5 dimensional reality:
It took the inauguration of Donald Trump for people to take to the streets to voice their entitlements to freedom to civil and human rights.  He was the trigger and we need to remember ‘divine timing, divine order’.  We can’t force change.  We just need the right energies at the right time.  And he was the one.
 
Eris and Uranus in Aries opposing/challenging Jupiter in Libra:  Feminine/masculine warrior energies demanding social justice and equity!

Eris and Uranus working together to awaken the masses:
Why mostly women?  There has been great activity since last year, from Eris, the feminine expression of the awakening energy of Uranus.  With her energies combining with the masculine energy of Uranus since later last year it set up a new era of those energies coming into balance and harmony uniting to wake up and bring humanity back to balance.  Eris is an energy of the divine feminine travelling close to Uranus in the sign of the fiery warrior, Aries.  Jupiter is one of the big social planets ruling truth and wisdom, belief systems of spirituality, religion, philosophy as well as higher education.  Jupiter is travelling through Libra the sign of justice and equity, balance and harmony. We’ll have these energies with us for a major part of 2017.  It’s ongoing. 
 
A few words on Donald Trump...just my opinion:  We’re all in this together!
He’s a player on the stage, larger than life at this time!
Donald Trump is a player on the stage of our shift in consciousness.  He is a Gemini born Sun and is therefore connected with balancing the feminine/masculine energies within which is immensely interesting to me as I, like many others, see his strong masculine patriarchal energies to the fore. 
 
I am sure he is in for a major personal transformation within as he is called to address the inner ‘feminine’ energies which it would appear, he seems to block and ignore.  I feel he has somewhat feminine hand gestures at times which doesn’t mean he’s homosexual but does indicate a softer energy within.  He does have a problem with his ‘small hands’ which gives another insight into his attitude to the more feminine self. Please be assured this is an observation, not a criticism.
 
I know some of you would have voted for and support Donald Trump.  That is the role you were called to play just as those who didn’t vote at all are possibly instrumental indirectly in the protests.  We need to look at the bigger picture and see all of us as players in the melodramas of life.  Sure we all have our personal views but we also need to consider our history and how much of our views is attached to our history. 
 
2017:  We’re a ‘work in progress’...still!   But the path of prosperity, ease and grace becomes easier...whew!
This year we are shifting into a new gear in more ways than one and much of that is accessing the 5D perspective whilst still living with so much of the world still in 3D energy.  We need to engage with both but to keep bringing ourselves back to the bigger picture. We are returning to everyday life in new ways with new directions opening up as we move into the year.  We’ll be practising the 5D energies whilst recognising our 3D connections and preferences. In this way we’ll be better able to support those who are just coming to understanding of the nature of reality and spiritual growth and expansion. 
 
This year, the ‘wake up’ calls continue but for many of us, the revelations have been evident for some time.  We are learning and practising a more detached, observational view of it all as we see our earthling brothers and sisters begin to engage with possible challenges to them attaining what they really desire.  After all as Esther Hicks/Abraham says ‘When you know what you don’t want, you can then find what you do want’.
 
We need to have high hopes, access deepest desires and let those emotional energies build and drive our expectations of better times to come. 
 
We’re in ongoing world changes, politically, economically, socially and environmentally.  It is for us to hold ‘the point of power’ in the present.  Be here now.

And if we do happen to fall in, to extricate ourselves without blame, shame and guilt.  We don’t need those energies any more.
 
Sorry I couldn’t get this out last week as I’ve been overwhelmed physically with the energies shifting us and once again hitting my nervous system with Neuralgia.  That Eris/Uranus energy seems to get me every time.
 
If you’ve been laid low physically just know that we have much fear and anxiety over the world, not just in the USA.  We’re seeing world wide change and it will continue for some years.  We need to take care of ourselves with love, compassion and kindness. We can only change the world through the power of love and it starts with us.

12th January 2017 Full Moon in Cancer

 
Hi everyone!
 
We’re coming home to ourselves, to our place of belonging!
 
What about me:
Just a matter of days into the new year of 2017 we’re being called to better times, healthier and happier days with the promise of fresh starts, at least on the personal level.  World affairs are continuing to shift and turn and will for some time but this is the year when we bring our focus into ourselves, into our ‘I am’ presence as we find our ‘place of belonging’ within and thus find our soul tribe for the beginning of a whole new stage of our journey. 
 
Completing 2016 energies...tying off loose ends:  Until New Moon in Aquarius!
The earthy energies of the Capricorn Sun have carried us through the end of 2016 and into 2017.  The Capricorn Sun will be with us until 19th January when it moves into Aquarius. 
 
Our window of opportunity, working with the earth’s planetary energies at a deep karmic level has been assisted by the light of the New Moon in Capricorn on 29th December which is continuing to bring the lunar energies of 2016 to closure. The New Moon in Aquarius on 29th January signifies the first New Moon of 2017 and for that reason can be viewed as the beginning of the lunar New Year.  Of course, the Chinese New Year always starts with this New Moon.  
 
 
What’s been happening:
6th to 9th January:  
Insights, karmic releases clearing the spiritual decks...Mercury stationed direct and Sun/Pluto meeting!
Mercury has just moved direct on 8th January on 28 degrees Sagittarius, the galactic centre. The stillness of Mercury’s ‘station, a day either side as well, always offers insights and message from the higher consciousness.  Sitting on the galactic centre, the consciousness downloads were immense.  You may not have felt the full import of these downloads last weekend as many of us were in the throes of experiencing the Sun/Pluto connection in Capricorn. 
 
This meeting of our greatest planetary body, the Sun with Pluto, God of the Underworld, ruler of life, death, birth and resurrection, took place in the sign of Capricorn, a sign that carries the energies of karma, earthly karma for us all.  You may have felt the dark forces arising from within you as the earth released demanding absolute focus on ourselves releasing old karmic wounds, ties and ancestors. 
 
This past weekend has set us up for the full moon in Cancer this week, clearing the decks of so much old energy so we can access the full potential of the Cancer Full Moon and appreciate the positive forces of this ‘homecoming’!
 
All the planets moving direct until 7th February:  
Looking to move forward in the physical world...just a few more pieces of the jigsaw to come in!
There’s been much talk of this on the internet and facebook indicating that it will be all systems go from 8th January when Mercury stationed direct.  Whilst it is true that the planets are all moving in direct motion, we need to remember that Mercury is still in shadow retrograde, retracing steps we took last year and Jupiter is slowing preparing to station retrograde on 7th February.  It’s not quite as straightforward as it may seem.  Sometimes, when we get these messages touted by many as ‘amazing’ energy, it can sometimes disappoint if you’re not feeling rapid movement forward.
 
A time to act and a time to be still:  Direct and Retrograde planets
When planets move forward it signifies physical action in the world.
When planets move retrograde it signifies an inner journey a time to be still and listen, gather information and clarify
 
One is not ‘better than’ the other.  They just call for a different focus.  So, keeping that in mind, we are looking to activate more on the physical level in the physical world but remaining mindful that the Full Moon in Cancer this week will be dropping in more information and could well change our direction, possibly suddenly and dramatically.
 
We need Mercury and Mars to get things moving physically:  
28th January New Moon in Aquarius is a good starting time!
Mercury and Mars are our two ‘movers and shakers’ and Mercury moving into Capricorn on 13th, the day after the full moon, will certainly urge us to ground some of the mental energy into the physical dimension.  However, we might be waiting on Mars, our fire and drive who’s on hols at the beach!
 
Mars on holiday at the beach until 28th January: Artistic and spiritual inspiration!
Meanwhile Mars is off surfing in Pisces, releasing some of the fire and drive at the beach.  He’s receiving some great visions and getting in touch with his dreams and the higher consciousness of Pisces...artistic and spiritual energies are surfacing.
He moves into his own sign of Aries on 28th January the same day as the New Moon in Aquarius.  That New Moon promises a powerful movement forward if we’re ready to move with the Mars and Mercury energies, harnessing the new moon energies for the month following 28th January.
 

12th January:  
Full Moon in Cancer at 22 degrees 27 Cancer at 10.33 pm AEDT
Insecurities and imbalances are flushed out and laid to rest!  Coming home to ourselves!
 
Everything must go:  Easy when we go with the flow!
The planetary line up at this full moon is so powerful it is guaranteed to release our grip on holding on to the past.  What does that mean for us?
It’s not just about this lifetime...it’s all time, all people, all memories which are keeping us in the energies of the status quo, repeating mindlessly the patterns of our lives. 
 
Cancer rules:
The past, memories, childhood, family, home and the ancestors!
The planetary line up at this full moon is big and potent guaranteeing the dropping off all that doesn’t serve our growth and expansion. There’s nothing wrong with the past until it interferes and controls us in making decisions and being our true selves.  That means the embedded memories as well as conditioning must be released so we can be more expansive, so we can create the new paradigm of life on earth. 
 
The filters of memories falling away:  Masks off!
How many years have so many of us been working on this release process, layer after layer of cell memories and ancestral karmic burdens. 
 
Well this full moon’s a beauty which is helping us cut through so much residue to come home to who we are this lifetime, without the filters of memories from other times, places and people.


 
 
Theme for this Full Moon: Securing an emotional and physical sense of security 
Breaking out, breaking free, clearing karma and finding our ‘I am’!
 
‘Home is where the heart is’...feel safe!
Coming home an ongoing theme for us all throughout time:
The theme of coming home is throughout literature and the stories of this planet.  Symbolically it represents coming home to ourselves as the heroes of our own lives. We see Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz wanting to go home from Oz, Alice in Wonderland trying to find her way home and of course ‘Lord of the Rings’ with Frodo and his friends returning home to the Shire, Hobbit town as we can see left.  Joseph Campbell is one amongst many who has talked of this theme in ‘The Hero’s Journey’, reminiscent of ‘The Prodigal Son’ in the bible.
 
The journey of the spiritual warrior:  Harnessing our energies through faith in our spiritual selves!
When we come home in these stories we have been to places of mystery and magic, facing dangers and challenges, travelling the way of the spiritual warrior working with our mind, emotions and often physical challenges which call us to harness all our spiritual power, to come through as wiser, more loving and compassionate than before.  We are uplifted as humans living in higher consciousness.
 
Feel secure in yourself:  Reassure your inner child/children and drop fears and doubts!
Security is the key word for both of these signs.  
Emotional security for Cancer and physical/material security for Capricorn.
 
The moon is Cancer’s ruling planet so it’s always a big one emotionally bringing to light any emotional insecurities which will be stimulating us to find the emotional security within.  With the Sun in Capricorn opposite the Full Moon we’re looking at ‘physical’ insecurities which could include financial affairs as well as our working lives. 
 
Grand Cross, grand challenge and opportunity:  Crossroads of change and opportunity
Drop the ‘burdens’ and choose the ‘I am’ path!
Packing a punch:  We are changing for the better!
This one’s going to pack a punch and shift us through a Grand Cross in the cardinal signs...Cancer, Capricorn, Aries, Libra.  The cardinal signs are related to  initiating, getting things going so this will be an interesting full moon planetary line up as we come to understandings and insights through the squares and oppositions evident at this time.

The planets are in oppositions and squares to each other, just like a crossroads.   Crossroads call for choices. Take notice of the Cheshire cat’s message to Alice in Wonderland in the picture above.

Challenges if we resist, opportunities if we allow and go with it all:  
As we let go, feel the emotions and invoke freedom we are freed from the past!
Squares and oppositions represent challenges and also opportunities!  This is our chance to shift whatever remains of those energies clinging to the past, to tradition, to memories resonating with any emotional or physical insecurities.
 
Something is coming into balance:  
Our ‘I am’ breaks through and calls for karmic justice as Uranus our freedom fighter challenges Jupiter in Libra!
Uranus in Aries is still firing the rockets of freedom through our beings as we reach for some justice, equity and expansion coming through Jupiter in Libra.  It could be a battle royal if we let it take us down the path of struggle and resistance.  We have our light sword of truth in hand ready to cut free of those restrictions arising from the past, the conditioning, the memories. 
 
This is about feeling the fire within whilst calmly reaching for the calm place within.  Let the lightning striker of Uranus in Aries open the door of our self-imposed jail and demand karmic justice and release as we cut the karmic threads of the past and the karmic burdens we’ve been carrying.  There’s never been a better time to stop the struggle and choose the path of peace and love for ourselves.
 
Something comes to a head!   
A tipping point as emotions erupt and spill out with the Full Moon!  Planet earth is releasing!

The nurturing energies of the Cancer full moon, sign of the divine mother, the home, childhood home and family as well as ancestors are calling us home to ourselves to that emotional security we hold within us.  We are taken back to the past to free fragments and pieces left behind in times of trauma...whether from childhood, cell memories of other times and places, our planetary family. We reclaim and release with love, feeling any pain and suffering, grief, anger, resentment, bitterness, fear...any emotion that is holding us back from joy, fulfilment and divine love. 
 

Death of the old and a resurrection into the light:
The Capricorn Sun, in such close proximity to Pluto the Lord of the Underworld, life, death, rebirth and resurrection is flushing out the memory banks from within our earthly bodies, the earthly dimension on all levels.  It’s a mass exodus from the earth and its peoples as emotions and memories are brought to the surface.  Allowing ourselves to feel these emotions deeply can release them from our bodies
 
Chiron is a significant player at this full moon:  Releasing spiritual wounds!  
Sitting on 21 degrees Pisces!
Chiron in Pisces releasing the collective consciousness of emotional and spiritual wounds is in harmonious conversation with both the Full Moon and the Sun as well as making significant connections with Uranus and Jupiter.
 
The biggest message from Chiron at this time is a square to Saturn:  Karmic clearing is being activated!
A great opportunity to let go of those old beliefs which are undermining us as Saturn in Sagittarius is clearing so much of our mindsets which have kept us stuck in the status quo.  Also, Saturn rewards any small steps we take to move forward, to build a new foundation in our life which will better support us in the world.  The new foundation may well be a new belief about the nature of reality, truth, the cosmos, religion, spirituality, philosophy. 
 
 
The Capricorn Sun working with the Full Moon and the planetary line up is calling us on to access our deepest ambitions:  First clear the decks!
Let’s take back and reclaim that word ‘ambition’ as an expression of the driving force within us. the motivation to excel and to fulfil our greatest potential.  For too long it’s been seen as a ‘dirty’ word implying a ruthless desire to walk over everyone.  In fact, without ambition we’d never get anywhere.  We may not be able to specify the ambition in worldly terms but our heart knows that it desires joy, happiness and love and is motivating us with the flame of desire and ambition. We need clarity that our ambition is aligned with our spirit.  Without that we cannot move forward and grow.

A good time for ‘cutting the ties that bind’:  Cutting the ‘karmic’ ties...see attached Word document
I have included a very summarised version of a process I’ve used for years.  This process was introduced by Phyllis Krystal in her book ‘Cutting the Ties that Bind’ and further elaborated in another book by her ‘Cutting more Ties that Bind’.  I’m sure many of you are familiar with this process and with Phyllis Krystal.

It’s about ‘karmic’ ties, the karmic connections which we keep revisiting each life looking for resolution, reconnection and healing.  If we choose to live this lifetime in the truth of this lifetime, then we need to release these karmic filters which more often than not re-enact relationships and situations from other times and places.  This is not about cutting the ties with this lifetime or the people in our lives this lifetime.  However, I’m of the view that we need to cut the karmic ties with everyone we know so equity and harmony can be restored. This is all about freedom...for you and for others.  As we free ourselves, we free others and the whole dynamics of relationships can change in an instant. 

You need to be in a state of readiness for this to work.  The planetary energies are very conducive to successful release of karmic ties at this time. However, you will have to be in a place of trust and willingness to act on it.  It won’t work if you’re looking back with longing and regret. The commitment must be there.

 
13th January:  
Mercury enters Capricorn at 3.03  am AEDT moving direct...easy does it!
Until 7th February
Getting ready to take to the heights:  
 Have no fear...Capricorn is a cautious sign and gives safety checks!
Mercury’s still in shadow but now feeling like he wants to get things moving in a more physical manifestation as he moves into Capricorn.  It’s okay to get a few things in place from now through to 27th January and prepare the way for setting up some new possibilities.
 
Setting up some options and continued clearing of old ‘stuff’:  Mercury still in shadow until 27th!

Mercury moves out of Sagittarius just after the moon comes to fullness so the message is pretty clear that we’re shifting some of mental energy by setting the stage physically.  This may include clearing our living and work spaces or possibly exploring some options with regard to work.  Just remember that the Full Moon clearance is continuing for about 3 days after the Full Moon so we may not have full clarity. Having a clearance physically may unearth some old ideas which had been put aside. 
 
In charge of our mental faculties:  Seeking the fresh ground for our new ideas!
Now we have our mind power taking to the Capricorn heights, expanding our ambition to a state of joy in the excellence of our mental discipline and commitment.  We are climbing our own personal mountain in choosing to take charge of our thoughts and beliefs, letting go of the scattered thinking and paying attention to our own awareness.  A good mantra for this time is ‘I choose what thoughts I allow to come into my mind’!
 
Being fully prepared mentally we set the ground rules for the launching of new projects, employment:
Mercury is our mind manager, our networker and ruler of commerce and business.  In Capricorn, he wants to get things moving but the Capricorn energy will encourage small steps at this stage, getting everything in place so the initiation of new ventures in the physical world will flow easily and effortlessly.  This is the time to do that groundwork, legwork, networking and setting up the management system for the governance of such ventures.
 
Choosing the joy of ‘work’ should be uppermost in our minds:  
Be aware of the financially driven workaholic! 
Capricorn urges us to seek financial and physical security and success in the environment where we can excel. Attending to the practical details and honouring the system whilst being open to opportunities is the way to go. Capricorn is a sign of initiative and although it likes tradition, the tried and true method, Mercury will temper that with his mental agility and opportunistic streak.  This could all work very well if we stay tuned to our heart’s desires. The shadow side of Capricorn is chasing the money at the expense of the joy of life.

Without doubt we need to really have these feelings of inner security as we observe the outer world crumbling, truths being exposed and the power brokers who have been running this planet gradually being exposed for who they are. 


We need to remain focussed on our personal goals of love and truth and expressing those in the world in whatever way we can.  It’s hard to get to the truth in the outer world with so many voices arguing with and discounting each other. 
 
However, this year as we emanate our truth and love we will draw to each other magnetically with little effort.  Our soul connections will be attracted by the light of who we are and we will be strengthened in our unity.
