What's been happening:
A double rainbow which appeared over Sydney on the day of the New Moon in
Gemini. Very appropriate sign from the universe of the unification energy, the
twins and the lovers in harmony and balance.
It’s been a Gemini party:
A hoedown which exploded some personal
myths!
The concentration of energies in the sign of
duality, Gemini, has been intense in the past few months what with Mercury
spending an extended period in his own sign with a retrograde period. Mars and
the Sun added to the impetus of the Gemini message, calling us to reconcile the
duality, clearing and elevating the mind consciousness.
Mars has been pushing us along with a big head explosion of energy and a
shifting of denser energies through the physical body and mental channels. What
a hangover!

ourselves together!
What a scattered mess the next day after a wild
gathering of a diverse mix of people, personalities, personas and egos. We have
been working with the unification of the inner duality and in so doing, called
forth all those multiple personalities, archetypes embedded in our psyche, in
our history and in our cell memories of planet earth and all we have been.
Since the New Moon in Gemini and Mercury moving forward again, we’re
starting to clear the head although those who doing an intensive mind/body
recalibration thanks to Mars in Gemini, we have to trust that this too shall
pass.
The spiritual ‘hangover’ and flu like symptoms are likely to lessen as
the Sun moves into Cancer, plunging us into the energies of the divine mother,
the nurturing waters of emotional security and comfort. The ‘head’ stuff,
anxiety, worry, sleeplessness is likely to ease as we embrace the comforting
arms of the Cancer Sun.

Cancer is traditionally the sign of the mother, home, family and
nurturing. Cancer is the sign of the divine mother, the energy which nurtures
and nourishes everyone.
A place of ‘belonging’:
The Cancerian energies!
Cancer energy tells us in our heart of hearts when we’re in the ‘right’
place where we feel comfort and security. If we’re out of synchronicity with
our true hearts and inner soul, then Cancer tells us through our emotional
selves.
The moon rules Cancer:
Memories and the past re-emerge!
The moon is Cancer’s ruler and the moon is the feminine and the mother
energy astrologically. She is a powerful influence on our emotions and our
emotional body bringing forth the memories and emotions from past times.
Whatever’s been ‘buried’ emotionally is likely to well up during the Cancerian
month.
Home and Family: A focus for the next
month!
Join with your ‘tribe’: Gather with
love! Nourishment of the heart
This next month we’re likely to be seeking that sense of comfort and
emotional security that naturally arises when we’re amongst ‘family’, whether
birth family, the family you’ve created with a partner and children or with your
soul family, like-minded kindred spirits who accept and love you ‘boots and
all’. We’ll draw comfort and reassurance from being with those who just ‘get
you’!
Nurture self and loved ones:
Nurture everyone!
Cancer is the mother, the divine mother who seeks to comfort and nurture
everyone. The idea of the ‘family’ coming together for a shared meal is very
much a Cancerian energy. Nourishment comes with the ‘right’ food at the right
time. This is food that is prepared and served with love. It has been a
primary mode of nurturing through the ages.
Offer nourishment, nurturing and shelter to those who are feeling out in the cold, feeling lonely and unloved, those who haven't found their 'family'. We can make a difference!
Home is where the heart is:
The Cancerian energy shows us the
way!
This is a month of opening our hearts to what home means to us. Is it
purely bricks and mortar or is it the energies of love and connection within
that home. Whether you live alone or with others, this is the energy calling us
to feel happy in our hearts and at home with ourselves all the time.
Are we at home on planet earth? Many of us feel like alien beings out of step with the push of materialism, austerity measures taking us out of the energy of prosperity along with the ongoing violence and powerbroking.
It's a challenge in these times to accept our place on earth and to accept we are making a difference every day. It is our calling to stake our claim to our place on earth and to make our heaven on earth reach as many others as we can.

The Sun’s entry into Cancer marks the June Solstice
each year: A time to celebrate the earth and our lives as
earthlings!
It's the June solstice, the turning point of the
year, an ancient celebration of our earth and our place on the earth, bound and
supported by the seasonal changes, by the Sun and its immense light.
It's a solar
celebration marking the entry of the Sun into the sign of Cancer, sign of home,
family and the nurturing mother. It’s a celebration of our home on earth and our
homecoming!
For the
Northern Hemisphere, it's the Summer Solstice and for us Southern Hemisphere
dwellers, it's the Winter Solstice. Remember we are all celebrating the Sun and
its gift of life to us all.
It's a perfect
time to give thanks for our lives on earth. Regardless of our circumstances with
health, wellbeing or security, we are fortunate to inhabit an amazing planet.
Time to lay claim to our entitlement to fulfilment of our potential as earth
beings and to enjoy the fruits of the earth.

What a magical energy offering
insights, breakthroughs and connection with the powerful source of light which
is plugged into our hearts. This energy is calling us out to play, enjoy life,
be our free selves.

Where there has been unresolved issues of the heart, we are now being given
the opportunity to redirect our energies and to reclaim our rightful place in
the world. Venus brings up issues related to love, beauty, harmony, money.
From 22nd June to 25th July:
Venus will be very gradually slowing until it reaches its stationary
retrograde turning point at the end of July. Whatever happens between now and
25th July will be covered again from 6th September to 9th October.
25th July to 6th September:
Venus will be in
retrograde
This is just a heads up of what’s coming but I will be writing more on this

24th June: Mars moves into Cancer at 11.32 pm

Putting home and security first:
Our fire and drive is putting its energies into the home, family, mothering
and nurturing energies. Mars has been turning our minds upside down as it
transited the air sign, mentally ruled Gemini. Now our focus becomes emotional
stability and security.
Maintaining caution and calm:
Do not resist the watery, emotional
energies!
This is a real shift in energies which puts our fiery Mars into the
emotional expansive waters of Cancer. It will be important in these next few
weeks to work WITH the watery energies as Mars might put up some protests. He
wants to be like a rocket taking off but Cancer is a cautious energy, demanding
that the status quo is emotionally balanced and secure.
Managing the emotional energies: Going with the
flow!
Cancer often feels like we could lose control if
we open the crab like protective shell. Underneath is an emotional wellspring,
a water table which could burst through at any moment. For this reason, many
Cancerians have had to learn to ‘put a lid on it’ or run sideways at times so
they don’t just flood themselves with overwhelm. We can all learn from them at
this time by allowing ourselves to feel it all without getting overwhelmed.
24th June:

Recovering and reviewing some unhealed wounds,
emotional, psychological and/or spiritual, that may have embedded in the body.
We’re doing another sweep back over the past few months clearing unfinished
business and unresolved energies. This may bring up physical health issues. It
may bring up old ‘hurts’, spiritual wounds of time gone by, the ancestors, past
lives.
A reminder that Pisces is the collective unconscious so we may find any
wounds and/or hurts appearing are arising from the collective psyche, the earth
herself. Be interesting to see what happens in our oceans and waterways as
Pisces is the ruler of the ocean.
27th June: Mercury moves out of retrograde shadow
at 13.08 degrees Gemini
Until 27th August, next shadow retrograde.
Moving on from 19th May: Pick up the traces from that
time!
Mercury’s now come back to the degree where it first turned retrograde on
19th May. At that time, or possibly the one to two weeks before then, our
forward movement was held, possibly plans, ideas and projects were suspended in
a time warp of stillness. We needed to do some tweaking, some readjustments
which is exactly what Mercury retrograde periods provide.
Percolating energies are now
ready!
We’re now in open country with the open road and clear skies ahead. We’re
likely to find a lot more mental clarity coming through with realisations
emerging from the unconscious.
A lot of ideas, thoughts and possibilities have been bubbling away, waiting
for that moment of readiness.
Get the cups ready to be filled with those ideas ready to be
manifested!

These two beneficial planetary energies are
coming together all this week with an actual meeting on 1st July. All week they

Upcoming Dates:
2nd July: Full Moon in Capricorn
That’s it folks! We’re in the mid year turning point. We’re now
travelling with the Sun in Cancer and our activities in the world will be
directed to those energies of emotional security, hearth, home and family.
However, we’re still within the lunar energies of Gemini so our inner life is
undergoing change on the mental dimension. As we make our way in the world, our
psyche continues to transform and shift as we release attitudes, beliefs and
mindsets of the past.
