As
we say goodbye to 2018 we welcome the new calendar year of 2019!
We’re
travelling under the Capricorn Sun and here’s the last sunset for 2018 in
Kirabiti that island nation which faces inundation from the rising ocean waters
of planet earth.
2018:
The year of marking time...mastery through balance!
Clearing
the dross, karma, massive healing for all!
We’ve
just completed the year of 2018, a universal 2 year ruled by the energy of ‘The
Priestess’ Tarot card which along with all the planetary transits, retrogrades
and cosmic combinations kept us marking time. stepping forward, stepping back,
stepping forward etc. etc. etc.!
What a year of balancing and rebalancing has
been going on. Many
of us have completed mountains of spiritual clearing in the past year, years and
lifetime. It’s all ‘undercover’ spiritual work.
2019:
It’s
a universal 3 year, year of The Empress, the divine
mother!
Now we’re opening up to the new potentials on
offer in this new calendar year. Of course we’ll continue to work with
balancing the energies. That’s our soul choice even if our ego resists the soul
work being presented.
We need to know when to be still and when to act...our
test for this year in discovering just how much we learned in 2018.
2019:
Laying the creative groundwork and activating magnetic energetic attraction
laws!
In the past year we’ve been learning to work more
dynamically from ‘a sitting position’ or...’lying down’ and this is the energy
of the divine feminine, the lunar energy which builds the vision and manifests
from stillness. We’ve been learning to let go of ‘the little mind’, the control
freak within and the energies of ‘hard work and struggle’ along with the
societal beliefs and conditioning which have perpetuated the imbalances of our
world.
We
don’t have all the answers but we have wisdom, knowledge and love to share:
It’s time!
We
are at a significant time on the planet as there have never been as many people
awake, awakening and looking for understanding of what’s going on. That’s where
we come in, the teachers, healers and translators of the bigger picture beyond
mundane reality.
Repairing
the split in the social fabric of humanity: Creating the new tapestry!
The fabric of societies has been split in many
places, countries, nations, communities and families by the very nature of
polarity operating as duality which resists re-union. We’ve been in either/or
and yes/no energy for so long it’s difficult to imagine any world beyond the
conflicted state of being which is embedded in each one of us.
But
that’s what we’re called to do...re-imagine a world working in harmony and
oneness with the focus on the higher consciousness of love, compassion,
forgiveness, joy and creative fulfilment.
I know many of us are exhausted from this past year dealing with the physical body, losses of close family or friends, pets, jobs, homes, relationships. The earth is a part of the cosmos expanding, growing and evolving consciousness. We come, we go and we learn and grow through this experience. One love, one earth, one people. And so we go on.

What a spiritual set up right at the end of
this calendar year!
Time to say goodbye to collective pain and suffering held within our being and allow old masculine warrior energies held within our bodies to just float away.

We're healing the spiritual wounds held in
the body from other lives, people, realities and times. We've all experienced
the warrior energies over and over again as fighting, conflict, resistance and
war. These primal energies are locked into our cell memories.
We've been evolving this old way for so long
that we know the process as we peel back the layers and clear the memory banks
in the body. Expect profound release and relief in the emotions and the physical
body as we let go of those energies we’ve been carrying for the collective. Yes,
it’s us and it’s them. We're all in it together.
There’s massive karmic clearance happening
which really started impacting us as we approached the Solstice and the Full
Moon in Cancer and the karmic rebalancing is continuing as we approach the new
year and yes...right up to the New Moon in Capricorn on 6th January.
Have a swim, a bath, imagine spiritual water
flowing through the whole physical body. Feel the pain and feel the let
go.
Mars is getting for a major rebirth when he
enters his own sign of Aries right on New Year!

A New Year Halloween! If you're into party mode, caves are good. Alternatively a gathering in the darkness of renewal.
In case you're thinking this
is a humongous 'release of the old calendar year' yes it is! With a Moon in
Scorpio taking us through the last day of the calendar year and two days into
the new year, we know it's big energy 'dying' to be released.
Mars has been in the
intensity of the last degree of Pisces pressing to get 'done and dusted' with
the resistant damaging collective energies we've been hauling about as
'shadow'!
The moon rules the past,
memories, ancestors, history, home, family, childhood, mother and it carries our
'shadows' so the Scorpio Moon is a good time to let those damaging shadows be
released. If the memories are resistant to light and expansion into love, they
need to go.
In Australia we're in the
sweat lodge big time! The conditions around us trigger us physically,
emotionally, mentally and spiritually and provide us with the opportunity to
activate old timelines and release the memory banks within that timeline.
If you're in freezing cold
and feeling the cold more than usual then this could also be the case. We're
called to feel the emotions, acknowledge them and reassure them in the light of
our own spiritual power.
All timelines will be in the
Scorpio moon energy through NYE and the first day of 2019. Calendar years have
no particular significance in the astrological calendar but of course they do in
numerology as we say farewell to 2018, the universal 11/2 year.

Ready, set go! The spirit is
fired...what about the rest of us?
Mars is our fire and drive, ruler of our physical
body and our masculine warrior ‘get up and go’ energy so you can just imagine
how this energy is going to lift our fiery spirit with the desire for action!
We
might not really feel this up and at ‘em energy for a day or two until the moon
moves out of Scorpio into fiery Sagittarius on the night of 2nd AEDT. It will
come.
Feel
the fire spirit returning:
Watch out for anger, wanting to take on the fight!
We’re
fired with enthusiasm but finding new information keeps rolling in as Mercury
heads ‘out of bounds’ gathering new info beyond our current knowledge base.
We
will want to get moving but do we have the necessary information to act on new
directions. The New Moon on 6th January is actually our starting point for
taking our first steps. Channel this energy into activating focus and passion.
Let’s feel this new
energy and luxuriate in the feeling of the fiery desire for action!
Let’s just
get the feel of this new found energy and check out the view in the newness of
the 2019 calendar year before building our new foundation for our new
‘platforms’ for our worldly presence. The question we need to consider is how
do we best utilise this fire energy which could easily be dissipated in wild
goose chases of enthusiasm. We would do well to harness the energy for its fire
power. You may want to go for a run, swim, exercise to get the energy coursing
through the body.
2nd January: Sun meets Saturn at 11 degrees 31 Capricorn
A reboot of our solar power in the sign of earthly mastery!
Set the
intent!
Our divine inner light of authority meets with
Saturn, Lord of Karma and Old Father Time himself. It’s a good time to
formulate a statement of intent about the upcoming New Moon on 6th as well as
the year ahead. Setting the intent is a key factor in moving forward. Staying
on track whilst allowing ourselves to make flexible adjustments as we go is what
will carry us on. One of my mother’s favourite sayings was ‘Make the first hour
of the day the rudder of the day’.
Meditating,
contemplating, getting focussed through looking at the astrology for the day,
Tarot cards, guidance cards or runes can help us to consider where we are and
where we need to focus our energies for the day ahead.
3rd
January to 19th January AEDT:
Mercury out of bounds...the big, big
picture!
Mercury
moves into the outer spheres of consciousness at 26 degrees Sagittarius offering
an expansion into new ideas, solutions and divine truth. As we open our minds to
receive his messages, the pieces will start to fall into place.
He’s moving
into Capricorn on 5th in time for the New Moon and returns from out of bounds at
20 degrees Capricorn on 19th January.

We’re heading into a week of planetary gear
changes with all 3 personal planets changing signs starting with Mars ruler of
our physical body on 1st and then Mercury ruler of our mental body on 5th and
Venus ruler of our heart on 7th.
In the
middle of this we have a New Moon in Capricorn, a partial solar eclipse along
with a number of planets in Capricorn indicating physical changes to our world
manifesting anywhere from a month to 6 months after this New Moon.
This New
Moon is very much about bringing our spiritual mastery into the physical realm
as we learn to become the power of love, truth, wisdom and divine will in our
lives.
Love and
blessings to us all as we continue on our journey in this amazing period of time
on earth, uplifting mountains of consciousness as we climb our own spiritual
mountain of personal mastery.
