from the chair: 15th September 2021: Mars enters Libra

Hi everyone!

We’re continuing through the healing landscape provided by the Virgo Sun and feeling the ongoing purifying demands of the New Moon in Virgo, dredging up all manner of memories from timelines outside of our here and now.

Journey to enlightenment:

It’s interesting that this week is the anniversary of Dante’s death in 1321, the Italian poet who wrote ‘The Divine Comedy’ the story of his journey through hell, the purging forces of purgatory and on to divine enlightenment, heaven.

It is Christian based and yet offers so much in relation to our modern world, the pursuit of happiness, the constant search for new stimulation awakening of new desires on top of what has already been acquired. The human condition and urge is one of growth and expansion and it is the flame of spirit, the desire for new experience that pushes us on, keeps us alive and thriving. As he approaches ‘heaven’ he finds desire increases.

So, here we are in the Virgo purifying energies of the solar and lunar landscape even though our personal planets, Venus, Mercury and Mars have all moved on.

Mars has only just moved on from Virgo to Libra yesterday and I am hoping this change of scene will alleviate some of the physical challenges so many of us have been experiencing one way or another. He’s joining Mercury in the balancing act so it’s a mind/body experience right ahead.

Significant that the Moon is out of bounds this week offering spiritual uplift and a glimpse of the stars and the bigger picture with solutions being offered to us of the current issues and problems in our life. I continue to reaffirm my faith in ‘miracles’ happening for me and so many others.

The 9th month of completion:

It's the ninth month, 9 being the number of completion so there's a sense of urgency pushing our spirits to bring things to closure...at least for this stage of the journey. The turning point next week with the Sun's entry to Libra and the Equinox is our next portal of solar change folllowing close after the Full Moon in Pisces.

Here we go again!

Galactic kick off setting the agenda until 17th September...big insights on offer

The moon moves into new territory for the next 3 to 4 days travelling out of bounds beyond current consciousness. It kicks off in the sign of Sagittarius which rules wisdom, truth, higher learning and consciousness along with a strong connection to justice.

14 degrees Sagittarius is the degree of a big galactic energy, the Great Attractor which gives some indication of the energies activating today as the Moon meets this huge ‘anomaly’ of power in the cosmos.

With the moon in Sagittarius, the sky’s the limit and with it travelling out of bounds it feels like there’s no limit with respect to the expansion of consciousness at least for the next few days. Although it moves into earthy Capricorn on 14th at 9.30 pm AEST and then on to Aquarius on 16th/17th we know that this kickstart in Sagittarius sets the agenda, the theme of freedom in play for the next few days.

Time to leap off the karmic wheel! Alternative solutions to old problems!

Choosing the power of love

Can we breathe a sigh? Breathing space maybe?

After the past few weeks of Mars in Virgo we may well find this energy a little relief from the intense purging and purification of the physical body and focus on our health and wellbeing.

However...the Libran energies challenge us to maintain balance as we come into karmic justice.

A balancing of the books: How are we travelling?

Libra always brings us to a balancing of the books, a review of our lives and coming to terms and to peace with any outstanding conflicts within or without, from any time zone, timeline. Mars puts the focus on the physical body as well as our fire and drive, our ‘warrior’ energy. Libran can make us more feisty if we feel the urge to take on resistant forces to us or within us.

It’s always the pros and cons of our life here and now: Leads us to resolution

The opposite side is it can deplete us as we experience the pros and cons of life as manifesting in our lives now. Everyone’s feeling the impact of lockdown even though parts of the world are emerging from this time. It’s a global experience that needs honouring as we feel the lack of the usual distractions and stimulations. We’re being pushed hard to change our attitudes actions and lifestyle to step into minimalism in the best sense of the word.

Letting go of the old muggle fight, flight or freeze syndrome:

Mars traditionally doesn’t take kindly to being forced into the change process by powers beyond his control. The urge to take control and take charge of the situation is great as we each find our own way of processing these intense energies of frustration, irritation, exhaustion and despair.

Stuck in the middle or holding in the light of love? Our choice

Libra offers us all peace, harmony, beauty through the power of the heart with Venus as ruler of Libra shining her light on the way forward. We’re being brought back to love and all its power which will help us rise above the Mars 3D ego power of ‘my way or the highway’.
