The Aquarian vision calls us on to rise above
the clouds!
What’s been happening:
We’re flying under an Aquarian Sun whilst at the same time being
recalibrated physically, releasing emotionally and shifting mentally. If you’re
having some intense challenges with the physical changes, you may well feel like
you’re grounded and very far from accessing the vision that Aquarius promises.
Over the past couple of weeks:
Light
then heavy, up and down!
Physical recalibration and emotional release from the body can
bring up all sorts of strange aches and pains and new symptoms of illness as the
cells of the body adjust to the input of energy. Energy then no energy is all
part of this process.
Mercury squared Saturn last weekend:
Surrender,
on your knees
On top of that, during the week building to last weekend, we had
Mercury/the mind in Aquarius challenging Saturn in Scorpio calling us to break
through old conditioning and mindsets, to reach for the mental freedom which
frees the body.
Physically: Maybe this
energy hit you physically in the joints, the knees as well as the head, legs,
arms, hands. These areas are ruled by Saturn and Mercury.
Meaningful communication:
Sharing the vision,
uniting in the vision! Reframing the foundations of our lives in the light of
freedom!
Maybe you had some deep and meaningful conversations which related
to freeing up your life and in doing so, giving it a new stability. This could
have been in relation to home, work, family and how that all fits
together.
The Aquarian Sun is calling us to unite with a common purpose, a
common vision, a common ideal. A lot of this is playing out in family, home,
work and in the community both local and global. We inhabit many different
‘communities’ such as partnerships, families, work colleagues,
community/sporting groups.
What’s happening:
Until 31st January: Venus retrograde
through Capricorn
Revisiting past heart wounding embedded in the
body...the old stories leaving!
Retrograde planets always take us back over old territory and with
Venus involved it’s been a heart felt journey. In Capricorn, we experience the
revisiting of old heart energies through the body, through the earth energy.
Old hurts and pains may be re-emerging from the body but require healing of the
heart.
Releasing ‘less than’ memory triggers:
The individual vs
society...battles of the past ready to go!
Capricorn, representative of the system, the status quo could well
mean you’ve been revisiting old wounding associated with past disempowerment by
the status quo, by society’s conditioning, by the government etc. Old
experiences of disconnection from love may have been revisited as we were
confronted by any issues of lack of worth and value.
Culminating on 31st January:
Opposition between Jupiter retrograde in Cancer and Venus retrograde in
Capricorn
Releasing memories, past lives, ancestral memories and earth
memories
Revisiting and clearing old memories
from the unconscious:
Dreams, nightmares and insights
Venus and Jupiter both retrograde and
opposing each other has triggered some clearing of memories, past and present
lives from our hearts and our physical and emotional bodies.
Retrograde planets take us back to the
past:
Feeling the emotions associated with experiences and letting
go!
This energy has held us in a profound period of
cleansing and purification. Both planets are retrograde which means we're
revisiting old experiences and emotions. Cancer
rules the ancestors, the past and is all emotion with
Jupiter expanding the emotions even further. With Cancer ruled by the moon,
surfacing of the unconscious memories may well be coming through vivid
dreams.
Releasing memories of the ‘ancestors’ from the body:

Karmic burdens released!
Capricorn is the earth and Cancer rules the
ancestors, not just our original family this lifetime but the whole of human
experience. We all know the expression ‘the
sins of the fathers are visited on the sons’. In some sense, this is how it
works as we carry the memories in our DNA coding. However, we have the choice
to change the patterns of the past through changing our thinking, emotions and
behaviours. As we release ancestral coding, we start accessing our true self and
prepare to join our soul family.
Releasing alienation, readying
to find our ‘tribe’:
Jupiter is expansive worldly energy and in Cancer
brings up memories and emotions associated with our ‘home’ and associated with
nurturing/mothering.
Opposite Venus retrograde in Capricorn, we have been
clearing up residue memories associated with any sense of disempowerment, any
feeling of alienation from home, family, place in the world and a sense of
belonging.
From 24th January to 8th February: Opposition between Jupiter in Cancer and
Pluto in
Capricorn
Getting off the treadmill and out
of ‘treadmill’ mentality!
Finding balance between home and work,
nurturing and ‘the system’!
This meeting between Jupiter and Pluto comes to
intensity on 31st, the day of the New Moon. However, it is already impacting us
with pressure to let some part of ourselves go with respect to the ‘old
order’/status quo in order to expand our connection to the power of
self-nurturing and home. This is very much about making choices to get the
balance right between home and family and our working life.
Cut the karmic ties with ‘the system’: Being reborn as a person of worth and value through self-mothering and
nurturing!
It’s our choice if we maintain a belief system that
says we have to work hard for a living. We are currently being asked to choose
whether we want to live in balance and harmony or to live in servitude to ‘the
state’ and the system.
How do we release from the mindset of
conditioning?
Choosing self-love and acceptance makes a statement to
the universe that we value ourselves. In being kind to ourselves, nurturing
ourselves, we make the statement that we are valuable, our bodies are valuable,
our time is valuable, our energy is valuable. In taking time to rest, relax and regenerate whenever possible, we are choosing to
live a balanced life, balancing the demands of society and others with our own
needs and desires.
Whatever we ‘feed’ continues to grow as we
perpetuate our own reality.
Actions do speak louder than words!
Releasing the
karmic bonds to ‘the system’:
Cutting free of enmeshment,
unhealthy
relationships with ‘the system’!
Forgiving past hurts and ‘wrongs’ inflicted by
‘the system’
...releases the karmic ties! Time to move on!
Wherever we have a 'toe in the water' of experience, so
also do we have a connection to the human experience on earth. Capricorn rules
government, systems, the status quo, authority of ‘the system’, the patriarchy
whilst Cancer rules the mother and nurturing. If you've had a confrontation of
these two worlds in your life experiences (who hasn't!), then a lot of this
conflict is being cleared up.
Forgiveness is the key:
Give up the
resentment, anger and fighting which are ties that bind us karmically!
If you have ever felt overlooked, forgotten,
ignored, undervalued, underpaid, unrecognised by any system of authority, this
is a perfect time to sever the karmic bonds of resentment, anger, fear,
hate...whatever! Time to restore balance for our own sakes.

New doorways:
The New Moon in Aquarius
heralds a lunar month of breaking with the past and reaching for new
territory,
new fields of discovery, new frontiers. A New Moon is always an opportunity for
a fresh start in some area of our lives. The astrological location of the New
Moon gives a sense of focus for the next month as well as for the next year
until the next New Moon in that particular sign.
Finding
community, soul tribe, shared hopes and dreams:
The Aquarian
energy rules hopes and dreams, community and friendships. This is a focus for
the next month. However, as well as these areas of focus, Aquarian energy lends
weight to any desire to be free, to be unique and to access altruistic desires
in contributing to the evolution of humanity.
Thinking outside the box:
A break for
freedom!
If any energy is going to get
us out of the mindset which has kept us from growth, Aquarius is the one! It
activates our individuality and our desire for expressing that individuality in
the wider world.
Innovation, along with
unique thinking are accessible at this time. We really do get the
opportunity to think outside the box of conditioned mindsets and to explore our
own unique abilities and gifts.
We may well ask ourselves ‘What can I do to
contribute to the world?’
Under the Aquarian energy, it won’t be on a treadmill
of exhaustion.
New possibilities emerge at this New Moon, even while
we continue to get the ‘makeover’, the recalibration of our energies, the
realignment of body, mind, heart and spirit.
The New Moon links positively to Uranus in
Aries:

New
insights, new start!
Uranus is the ruler of Aquarius and being in a
positive relationship with the New Moon in Aquarius, tells us that this New Moon
is giving a significant and powerful shift in insight, understanding and the
impetus to take action!
The domino effect: The New moon triggers
radical Uranus, transformational Pluto, heartfelt Venus and expansive
Jupiter!!!!
Uranus, triggered by the New Moon, continues to
trigger Pluto and in turn, Venus and Jupiter. These planets are already in a
dance with each other so this New Moon is bringing in some dynamic and sudden
changes of the best kind. Make the most of this energy which is releasing,
freeing and bringing in new possibilities.
Bottom line:
A big whoosh of completion of
so much heart healing energy!

This feeling comes in with the New Moon. Breaking
through. The full import may not be immediately evident as Venus is getting
ready to move direct, so not much movement there in getting going. Wait till
after 1st.
Beyond the New Moon:
Still letting go and
integrating until about 8th
when Jupiter and Pluto move on from their
opposition!
Yes, we’ll be letting out and letting in all at the
same time. Just keep imagining that image of the Aquarius water bearer above,
pouring the new energies in and clearing out the old stuck energies of the
past.
It’s a Super Moon: The moon is close to the
earth!
Aquarius energy is super strong calling us to uplift our minds to the
stars!
Reinforcing the strength and significance of this
particular New Moon to Planet Earth!
This is our second Super Moon in 2014, the first one
being at the New Moon on 1st January. Again, we have the power of the moon
making its presence felt at the beginning of this year, reinforcing the
importance of bringing in the ‘feminine’ energies, the nurturing energies into
our lives for balance and harmony.

January, Year of the Water Snake:
Completing emotional healing and
transformation
...the final stages of the Year of
the Snake!
We’ve been moving through the
final days of the Chinese Year of the Water Snake. It’s been a slow and
meandering year of change, forcing us to release old ‘skins’ of the past and of
old emotional responses to ourselves, to others and to our lives and situation.
Finishing off Year of the Snake:
A final push
and intensification of energies in the ‘birth canal’!
Squeezed in the vice!
When we come to the closing stages of the end
of a cycle whether of planetary movement, of astrological forces or of a pattern
such as numerologically, we often experience an intensification of that energy
like a last ditch effort from the unseen forces to push us through. Of course
it’s really our own soul that is putting this intensity into the final stages to
maximize the utilization of the available energies. Sort of like making the
most of what’s on offer.
The proof of the work we have accomplished
will start to show at the beginning of February.

A galloping year of
change!
The horse energy will really get us going
this year after the past year of the water snake which was slow moving and
emotionally transformational.
The horse is an animal of the earth and is
ready to carry us where we need to go at breakneck speed if necessary.
Impatience and knee jerk reactions could be possible as the horse will not be
contained or limited unless such limitation aligns with its own desires.
‘On your horse!’:
With less tolerance for those who infringe on
our boundaries or disrespect us we’ll be quick to respond and move on from such
irritations and damaging energies. We’ll be ready to travel with our own
special herd, strengthening our sense of self with like-minded others and soul
family.

1st February:
Mercury moves into Pisces...Sing, sing a song, Sing out loud, sing out strong!
1.29 am AEDT
Mercury in Pisces puts us in touch with all ‘fluid’ forms of
communication tapping into the visual and auditory senses. This energy will put
our minds and words ‘in the flow’. Go with this energy and hear new words to
uplift!
Hearts awakened to expressing spiritually:
Music, art, dance, poetry, lyric writing come to the fore with this
influence. Coming in just a few hours before Venus finds her feet again moving
direct, we’re likely to feel our hearts open with the sounds, sights and
movement of nature and of love.
Speaking from the
heart: With Venus, our heart energy, still travelling in Capricorn,
our mind energy/Mercury may bring forth so much from our hearts which was
resolved during the Venus retrograde period of the past 6 weeks since Christmas.
Words and emotions come into a more concrete form as we express them to
significant others in our lives.
Desire to bring art forms into physical reality:
The song, book, painting, sculpture, dance you have
wanted to bring forth, now has planetary support. Even though Mercury goes
retrograde on 7th and moves into Aquarius, it will be a positive energy for
reworking, polishing etc. anything you start at this time. Retrogrades are good
for honing what is already in the pipeline.

A big relief as energy lifts from the
heart:
This will definitely be a relief after the past weeks of retrograde
journey since the December solstice, which has brought up all kinds of heartfelt
feelings long buried. If you didn’t experience questioning of values possibly
along with ‘deep and meaningfuls’ with partners and significant others, then be assured that all is in
order.
Healed relationships: However, most people had
some form of questioning happening about what’s important to them, their lives
and relationships during this past 6 weeks. There’s been a lot of reframing of
values and commitments to self and with others. Some people may have seen a
break with a partner whilst others have deepened their love and commitment to
each other and a common vision.
Capricorn strengthens our
commitment to our heart and our values:
Venus in
Capricorn now in direct motion is calling us to bring our discoveries, our new
emotional foundations into the reality of our physical existence. Mercury in
Pisces will be informing our creations with a visionary idealism.
Venus is still moving out of shadow for a while yet, so just keep
trusting our hearts are clearing, getting ready to fly when Venus moves into
Aquarius on 6th March.
Meanwhile, we’re putting our hearts on the
line in a worldly sense.
