from the chair: 28th November 2014 Mercury moved into Sagittarius

Hi everyone! Yes, we’re still on our horses, not yet at full gallop!

We’re travelling in the light of the Sagittarian Sun and in the energies of the Sagittarian New Moon. Our horsepower is building as we gradually throw off the traces of the watery emotional depths of the Scorpio month. If you’ve been feeling the highs and lows then know that this is easing...soon!

What’s been happening:

Sliding doors! In and out of the light and other realities!

This past week it may have felt difficult to find the sunny spots of Sagittarian optimism but this is all changing very gradually. We’re finishing up/being finished off by the Scorpio energies.

Mercury and Saturn meeting in Scorpio on Wednesday, taking us through a shift in thinking, a new doorway and maybe rocking some foundations in our lives. A mindshift!

Saturn in Scorpio’s last stand: Do or die!

Now, we’re waiting for Saturn, our master of manifestation, Lord of karma to polish us off in these last weeks of his journey through Scorpio. How our authority in the world has changed these past 2 to 3 years will become evident after 24th December when Saturn moves into Sagittarius.

Colouring the past week: Chiron turning direct on 24th/Monday...

24 hours experiencing the ‘flatness’ of total let go!

I don’t know about all of you, but it was quite a week of ups and downs thanks to Chiron turning direct on Monday, bringing many of us down to a state of despair, hopelessness, helplessness and a sense of disempowerment.

The intensity seemed to be that 24 hours, with some of those energies leaking into a day either side. However the cloud hovered over the week.

Big shifting of collective emotional energies:

The personal is the political

Chiron, the wounded healer was pushing us to release old emotional wounds from both the personal and collective sphere/Pisces. These feelings were not just about you. It was a collective wave of release and of course those in the front line of emotional sensitivity and spiritual change would be feeling the intensity. It felt a bit like a black cloud coming and going all week, bringing exhaustion, anxiety, depression, despair etc. in between the bright spots. Chiron is barely moving, so take heart that this intense heavy emotional energy is gradually lifting in the next week.

Since 26th October:

Mars, our body fire and drive has been moving through Capricorn

...slow climb to the top of the mountain!

Mars has been trawling through earthy Capricorn. Our fire and drive has been somewhat slowed by the step by step progress to the top of our own personal mountain. We’ve been forced to move slowly and cautiously, not Mars preferred mode of travel which would be fast and furious.

Physically:

Mars is our physical body and in Capricorn has been deeply attuned to work with the earth’s energies at this time

For many of us, we’ve been fluctuating in physical energies thanks in part to our attunement to the releases from the earth’s body as our planet shifts in consciousness. We are one body with the earth and for us all, we are working as one body, one humanity, one living organism.

For the sensitives, the empaths, the front line lightworkers the earth’s release resonates deeply in our own physical bodies as we are called to bring light to ourselves and to the earth. Aches and pains in the body are a call for release and a call for more light. As we bring in the light, we may experience an increase of pain until the unresolved energies are released. With chronic pain, the light practice needs to be maintained. More pain, more light.

5th December:

A lightening of energies when Mars moves into Aquarius at the end of this week

What’s coming in:

Chiron in retrograde shadow for next 3 months:

Revisiting and clearing up loose ends and open wounds!

Chiron will be moving out of its shadow retrograde in about 3 months which means we’ll have the time and space to rectify imbalances brought about during the past 5 months of retrograde energy. The core wounds carried by the Chiron energy need that time and space to slowly heal, be healed as we return to a more physically and emotionally balanced life.

Uranus/Pluto Square: The status quo game changer!

Number 6 in mid December and Number 7/the last in March 2015

This timeline of Chiron’s 3 months retrograde shadow journey flows into the changes and shifts coming up in March/April next year with the last/7th meeting of the Uranus/Pluto square in March along with our next solar eclipse.

We’ve had 2 to 3 years intense change process thanks in part to the Uranus/Pluto unusual planetary configuration. This challenging aspect has been shifting the most resistant and recalcitrant of energies in the ‘old order’, the status quo. This, as we know, has been happening at both the personal and transpersonal/global level.

From now to mid December:

Increasing edginess and nervous tension as Uranus and Pluto move towards their 6th challenge!

You may already have been feeling the rising tensions, the anxiety which seems to have no solid basis in reality and/or the making of mountains out of molehills. These two planets are in close proximity and have been impacting on us since about 23rd November. They come to their exact square on 15th December.

Scratchy!

As they move closer together, we’re likely to experience a building of tension, a sense of needing a big change and yet fearing that the impending change will turn our world upside down. It may have no basis in our reality. Much of this unsettling energy is due to a sense of uncertainty about the way forward. We are travelling in new and unknown territory as we move into new consciousness.

A sense of impending doom: Change is already happening and shifting us to a resolution of the Uranus/Pluto tensions

We’re explorers in a new and unknown landscape, uncertain about what’s ahead, letting go of issues of control and letting go of the sacred cows, the status quo which has kept us locked into a landscape of lesser growth and movement.

Without that life raft of the old security, there is a feeling that we’re all at sea, rudderless and defenceless. We’re needing to congratulate ourselves on those small steps we are taking towards the liberation of our spirits and our lives. We are opening to new possibilities as we allow the old to fall away.

Resolving issues of power and authority:

Doing things differently with a more evolved consciousness

Staying connected to 'source'

In fact we’re clearing up core issues connected to power and authority by taking our spiritual power in the everyday world. Many of these issues are embedded in us across many lifetimes.

The higher consciousness is with us helping us to take the high road to peace, love and forgiveness, stepping out, speaking up, asserting our authority in a whole new way. Our foundation is love, justice and equity. We’re learning to observe ourselves in these movie scenes in our lives.

What happens when we put snappy, lickety split Mercury into the energies of fiery, expansive Sagittarius, the truth seeker.

Twitter lifting in consciousness! More depth, breadth and wisdom!

Sagittarius calls our little Mercury mate into the realms of higher consciousness, expanding and growing our desire for learning and the knowledge of wisdom and spirituality.

Mercury, our mind power, is called to move from the quick witted one liners to be found on twitter and challenged to extend his thinking, his understanding and his knowledge into the golden book of wisdom!

Inner changes of mind bringing new choices:

So much is happening with our mind energy during this time, it may feel like we’re not getting anywhere fast. That’s how we’d like to be, moving fast!

Our minds are being shifted from that quick fix ‘out there’ energy to an inner conversation that is helping us change our thinking, change our mind, bringing us to solutions which are new and outside our current reality.

Feeling like you’ve been held back from that open road?

Armchair travelling:

Mercury rules travel and in Sagittarius, just wants to take to the road! Any highway, air route, sea route will do. Movement is the main urge. Many may be feeling a little held back from doing that road trip as we sit tight at home to finish off a whole lot of spiritual clearing in this last month of the year. We are having some major healing of outstanding core issues.

Expanding the fields at home:

Feeling like it’s a Mercury retrograde period

However, at this time with the other prevailing planetary energies, Saturn finishing off his sojourn in Scorpio and the Uranus/Pluto square tightening up, this desire for movement may feel somewhat frustrated as circumstances prevent us from getting moving physically.

Hold your horses! Do some grazing, ‘navel gazing’ in the home paddock:

You may be feeling the frustration of wanting to get on your horse and get on the open road but the clarity about your direction is keeping you in holding pattern. If you’re feeling like that, then you’re more than likely attending to clearing the energy field whether spiritual or physical in preparation for some movement forward.

5th December: Mars moves into Aquarius 10.56 am AEDT

6th December: Full Moon in Gemini at 11.26 pm AEDT at !4 degrees Gemini 18

That’s it folks! We’re heading for the hills! Freedom, expansion and liberation is happening even if you not experiencing it on the physical level just yet.

This month promises more movement as planets shift signs and change direction.

In particular, 22nd December holds the energy of the December solstice, Sun into Capricorn, New Moon in Capricorn. Followed up by Saturn’s move from Scorpio on 24th, we can expect a real shifting of what may feel like ‘stuck’ energies and some forward movement in our physical lives.

We’re now heading towards the Full Moon in Gemini on 6th December which will offer a rebalancing of our masculine/feminine energies, some butterfly energy. The day before, Mars moves out of Capricorn into Aquarius so we can expect some lift off with our physical bodies and with our fire and drive as Aquarius takes us to the stars.
