from the chair: 23rd August Sun enters Virgo

Hi everyone!

In the last rays of the Leo Sun yet travelling in the light of the Leo New Moon for a few more weeks, we’ve now going into a time of adjustment, re-adjustment and regrouping following the huge influxes of sun energies and Leo light still holding in the Mercury mental body until 8th September when Mercury moves into Virgo.

Mercury madness uniting our mind energies of masculine/feminine:

Mercury has been a huge player in this eclipse cycle sitting in the Leo energies at the last solar eclipse at the New Moon in Leo.

Mercury as ruler of Gemini, is concerned with the re-connection and unification of our masculine/feminine energies along with our re-balancing of right brain/left brain operating systems. We’ve been healing the heart pain held in our minds. From chaos to clarity!

Hearts being strengthened with the light of divine faith:

Belief in ourselves!

We had to ‘lose our minds’ as our Leo heart energies have been engaged and strengthened. Leo is the ‘path of heart’ and brings forth our courage and strength as light beings with energy beyond the ‘small mind ego’ of the ‘muggle’ world!

This is it! The time when we choose the way of the light and the path of heart!

Maintain light energy to the mind, the head, heart and body: Focus light!

Big reminder to keep bringing the golden light into the body, mind, heart and spirit as we continue re-aligning with our inner light and divinity, building our strength, power and divine energies. We need to keep backing ourselves with the process of enlightenment. Who knows how far we can go! Up to us!

The light is our nourishment as we are primarily energetic beings in a physical body. Yes, we need to look after our physical bodies but we need to re-charge our batteries with light energy and to take time out while our physical bodies accustom to this charge of light. When the Sun moves into Virgo there’ll be a focus on integrating these light energies into the physical body in a whole new way. Healing power!

Strengthening the body!

The Sun moves into Virgo putting our focus on the earth energies of the harvest and healing with the natural energies of the earth and investment in our physical power to regenerate and renew. It’s time to ground our minds into physical reality.

Purification of the toxic energies from within our physical being!

Virgo has traditionally been seen as the sign of ‘the perfectionist’ and it can manifest in that form as it calls us to ‘purify’ those toxic energies which are held within our physical being. They're the result of spiritual dissonance from other places, times and peoples and manifest as physical pain or dis-ease.

Coming out of the craziness of Mercury retrograde inside the eclipse energy!

We’ve been in a crazy Mercury retrograde cycle all tied up in the eclipse energies where it may have challenged us to stay focussed when chaos has been happening. it will now start to ease as the Virgo Sun helps us to get practical and grounded as we release the threads of mental constraint and get aligned.

Harnessing our mental power for bringing physical healing:

It needs to be remembered that Virgo is ruled by Mercury our mind manager as well as Chiron, the centaur of healing power. Time to do some serious listening to the physical body as now our heads are getting screwed back on.

Mars still getting new healing ways and renewal: Still in Capricorn!

We’ve still got Mars, our physical body getting his ‘makeover’ in retrograde and ‘out of bounds’ gathering new consciousness to heal our bodies and life force. is focus on physical manifestation is not likely to show up fully just yet as he’s challenged to release those Capricorn benchmarks from the physical vessel. Our masculine energies are being challenged to re-frame the concept of ‘success’ and to find new pathways to claiming our power and authority.

The Virgo Sun is going to work with Mars in this context as the power of Virgo purification energies work on our physical bodies to clear and evolve those ‘wounds’ we carry spiritually within our cells. Mars is now slowing right down preparing to station direct on 28th August so our bodies may feel sluggish during this period of ‘stationing’. More on this with the Full Moon update.

This last Mercury retrograde stretch was hardly a ‘picnic’ let alone ‘An Evening Lawn Party of Adults’ but this degree is an indicator of our emergence and what we’re taking forward into the coming months...more coming together of like-minded souls and gathering to socialise.

Hugs all around! Remember it’s the Chinese Year of the Dog and it’s been a ‘dogged’ year of movement!

We’re getting grounded now with the Virgo divine feminine energies so we gather with our animal friends and pets in a furry embrace. Virgo rules pets as well as healing assisting us with the evolution of our mind consciousness.

Note: Mercury gradually moving on while Mars is slowing down! Maintain the faith a bit longer!

Mercury is now starting to move forward whilst at the same time we have Mars slowing down, preparing to station direct on 28th August, just after the Full Moon. So we won’t necessarily feel ‘charged up’ just yet!

Now heading to the Full Moon in Pisces just a few days away, which promises an emotional and spiritual release like whales blowing off ‘steam’ as we are taken from there into the final two weeks of the eclipse passage when we birth into the New Moon in Virgo.

Remember we’ll feel this emotional release for anything from 3 days before and after it comes to fullness. The flowing energies of Jupiter in Scorpio now in its trine with Neptune in Pisces is guaranteed to make it an easier release providing we continue to surrender and go with the flow.

Love and blessings to us all as we maintain focus and direction despite experiencing shocks in between periods of relentless trekking on the Saturn road to ascended mastery. Be nice to look forward to some fun and frivolity ahead and the coming energies promise more light relief as we continue.

Next year is a 3 year numerologically, aligned with the Empress Tarot Card, the divine feminine energy of creativity and growth. After this ‘2’ year of balancing and marking time it will be a whole new energy to give uplift and lightness. Next uplift, Mars moving direct and then the New Moon in Virgo.
