Hi everyone!

Well I had good intentions to get this out last week but the universe had other ideas with respect to my evolution so it was back to rest and letting go. I imagine some of you felt the same way with these big incoming energies...planetary, solar and lunar activity. Apart from the worldly affairs which so many of us are processing in our beings as our karmic commitment to this lifetime.

Sun is in Taurus: Feel the beat of the earth! Elephant shoes on!

It’s the solar month of Taurus where we slow down, take our time to feel the beat of Mother Earth beneath our feet. In honour of Taurus I’ve chosen the elephant as our totem for the next few weeks. Yes, I know Taurus is the bull. However, any slow moving animal which walks the earth and is close to her heartbeat is a reminder of how we need to move in Taurus time.

Slow, considered, aligned with the power of Venus, the elephant has demonstrated the capacity to feel grief. The elephant herd of females and calves is led by the matriarch.

We are well served to be guided by her wisdom this month as it throws up all manner of sudden surprises and unexpected events thanks to eclipses in Taurus/comfort zone and Scorpio death/rebirth. Add to this Mercury stationing retrograde from 10th May to early June.

Slow and steady transformation: Easy does it

Pluto has been sitting on 28 degrees Capricorn since 11th April and will be on this degree until 24th June when he retrogrades back onto 27 degrees Capricorn. He doesn’t station direct until 10th October.

He’s in his yearly clearance covering all unfinished business in his mission of deep and lasting transformation. Pluto’s role is one of generational change as his transit lasts so many years.

Pluto’s work in the sign of Capricorn: Systems, structures, the status quo

Capricorn rules governments and powerful global organisations, businesses, money systems. His ruler Saturn is the authority, Lord of Karma and karmic resolution so not surprising that all established systems, belief systems, rules and laws across the planet, within our homes and societies are being turned upside down.

So what can we expect in the next few months until October at least when he turns direct?

Pluto is the Lord of Life, Death and transformation ruling anything existing underground, hidden resources and that includes mining, digging in to find the inner riches and resources.

We can expect reviews, changing values, views, perspectives and policies across all established orders as what has been put in place for the past few months becomes ‘obsolete’ or non workable.

Prepare to open up to our inner voice, higher guidance as to the right way forward: Spiritual radar is needed for the next few months!

Expect backtracking for us all even at the individual and work level as we examine our previous choices, perceptions and come to a new understanding of how we claim our ‘authority’ in the world. With Jupiter moving into Aries mid May there is all possibility that major societal and planetary changes will be guiding us all on new pathways to success and creative fulfilment in our lives.

30th April: Mercury enters Gemini...can elephants fly?

Dumbo lifts our minds to the bigger picture:

Mercury, ruler of our mental body, communication and commerce finds himself in his own sign of Gemini. He’s home...or is he? The mercurial mind takes flight in Gemini reaching for the heights of imaginative ideas, problem solving solutions and turning old ideas upside down as he searches for inspiration and excitement.

Bringing our ideas into physical reality: Grounding the dreams! Dumbo...back to earth!

He may be in Gemini but he’s in the grounding solar energies of Taurus so the challenge is to bring some of these ideas to earth. Not an easy task when he’s being thrown into the New Moon Solar Eclipse energy which guarantees sudden changes and unexpected events in the coming weeks, month, 6 months.

Adaptability is the key:

Needing to maintain balance mentally as the eclipse throws its curve ball!

Mercury in Gemini offers an immensely adaptable mental perspective if we are prepared to keep an open mind. We’ll need this as he’ll be taking us back to the drawing board mid May when he enters a 3 week retrograde period. Oh no! Mercury doesn’t like being held back as he’s one of our movers and shakers in the planetary world. However, there are societal and planetary changes ahead which will affect our direction.

Make the most of this stretch of Mercury direct until 10th May to access the new ideas, possibilities and potentials which will need tweaking and developing from 10th May to early June when he turns direct. As we accept the potential of the retrograde period we can refine and develop some of the great ideas coming through up to the 10th May. Make hay while the sun shines and know the review period will serve our mind well. We need rest periods.

Jupiter meeting Venus, close to Neptune in Pisces is an indicator of what's on offer...optimism, divine love and prosperity for humanity.

An eclipse in Taurus is a wake up call revealing the truths of who we are as earthlings and divine energies of creative power. Uranus, the great awakener close to the New Moon adds to the surprise package that is ushered in by eclipse energies running through this next month...and up to 6 months from now.

Growth opportunity/challenge to clear karmic contracts:

Saturn in play with the planetary nodes in an opportunity to drop the karmic contracts and timelines of 'history'. Whatever is not aligned with prosperity consciousness must go! This is sudden, dramatic clearing energy this month.

3rd May: Venus enters Aries...hearts opening to the fire of desire and joy

This will be a heart opener for us all: What about me?

If you’ve felt you’ve left yourself out of the joy of feeling love and desire, then expect for this feeling to be awakened within you. Aries is very much about our ‘I am’ and that includes our ego which we do need for driving us on in the world.

territory, new consciousness as she went out of bounds on 3rd May at 9 degrees 
Gemini. She'll be travelling through Cancer until she returns from out of bounds 
on 8th May at 7 degrees Leo. 

The opportunity to access the 
past, the memory banks and taking us to new emotional consciousness. The Moon 
rules the past, ancestors and memories and will be especially strong when she 
moves into her home sign of Cancer at 9.05 am 5th May AEST. 

She'll be in the sign of Cancer 
for a couple of days so the focus will be on calming any old emotional 
insecurities which may arise as we tread our pathway through the cosmic elevated 
environment. Comfort ourselves as we rise above the old patterns and traumas. 
Home, homeland, mother, nurturing and security will be our arena of evolution 
during this time. 

We are safe, protected and nurtured by the Moon and the earth.

Our spiritual earth tribe is turning its back on old damaging energies from past times and is heading in the right direction for the power and fulfilment in prosperity consciousness.

Can we imagine a world where everyone matters, is counted, is valued, is honoured and is accepted for who they are? Not easy when we consider so much dark unevolved energy surfacing on the planet. As we step away from individual ‘battles’ and conflict it becomes easier to address mass evolution. We all have individual antipathies to people and their behaviour and its our call to rise above such challenges and see the bigger picture.
