a phoenix?
All of that and more!
What’s been
happening:
Whew!
Shaken AND stirred!
That’s
about it for the past week after the New Moon in Virgo.
We're been undercover with the intense Scorpio energies. It's an
007 experience! Mars joined Saturn on 26th...in Scorpio which was a power packed
energy. We're been in the throes of a Scorpio/Leo dance of death and
transformation.
On 27th, early morning AEST Venus in
Leo squared Saturn in Scorpio and on 28th very early am Venus in Leo squared
Mars in Scorpio. Also on 28th, Venus met up with the dark goddess
Lilith.
After this we'll have the martinis lined up!
Alternatively, we can choose the rainbow cocktail, a heady mix of
love, unity and prosperity! Bring on the rainbow! I'm over the
martinis!
Healing
is happening: Purification is in progress!
The Virgo
energy is sensitive, healing and gentle but with all the Leo/Scorpio ‘footy
match’ going on, it was difficult to know if the Virgo energy was operational.
I can’t imagine what it would have been like without the soothing seeds of the
New Moon in Virgo! Probably a ‘bar fight’ with martini glasses spilled and
smashed!
As a result of solar flares in the past week, we’ve had some
geomagnetic storms and the resulting auroras appearing in our northern
latitudes.
At the Virgo New Moon:
Calling for trust, acceptance and
surrender!
Scorpio’s got us under wraps, travelling by
radar!
The challenge of Venus squaring Mars/Saturn
conjunction in Scorpio had us reaching for a stable foundation, which was
difficult to find. No wonder we had earth activity, quakes and volcanoes
shivering the earth beneath our feet. It was a very Scorpionic energy
dominating this New Moon pushing us to call in the forces of light to uplift us
into the bigger picture.
That
disruptive energy flowed on through the week as those planets came into play
with each other, triggering deep seated release of energies which have been
holding us back. It’s this life, past lives/other realities/the earth itself
all inviting us to release the karmic chains of struggle and pain, suffering and
martyrdom.
The walls
of stability are crumbling and all we can do is surrender to the forces of
change, trusting that all is well and that good times and rainbow cocktails are
on the way!
Uranus
as a player in radical change at the New Moon:
I didn’t
mention in the last update that Uranus was a player in the New Moon playoff. He
was continuing in his wrecking ball radical mode with Saturn, the seat of
establishment, the stabilising energy of our own little world.
From end
of August: Uranus/Saturn connection moving on!
The aftershocks
lessening!
The
Uranus/Saturn wrecking ball energy has shifted out of close proximity as of the
end of August although it will be about a week or two before we start to feel we
can relax a little. The shocks and aftershocks that have been coming at us
since mid June, are now lessening.
The
Scorpio ‘connection:
Mars is
moving out of Scorpio mid September and we’ll be moving into the more
optimistic upbeat, but also fiery Sagittarius energies.
Saturn
remains in Scorpio until just before Christmas this year after which it
moves into Sagittarius for the next 2 to 3 years.
Ongoing
Uranus/Pluto square: Next bout is November/December 2014
Also, the big change process of the Uranus/Pluto
square is ongoing until after March 2015. That will be the last time these two
come into conflict. Before then. we have another clashing of them in a close up
stoush from end of November through December when they hang on the same degree
of 12. However, we will feel them drawing closer together through November and
pulling away from each other after Christmas.
Pluto is
Scorpio’s ruler so the Scorpio theme continues. Bring it up, out of concealment
and then spit it out!
Possible
challenges to physical body during last week or two:
With
Saturn so active in Scorpio, you may well have been feeling
some challenges in Scorpio ruled areas: bones, skeleton, joints, knees.
Mars
represents our physical body, so the impact with Saturn is very relevant during
this last period of time. Since Mars has been in Scorpio, heat surges and
changeable blood pressure as well as physical inflammations could have been
entirely possible.

Mercury has been in Virgo...anxiety?
frustration? agitation?
With the last few weeks of Mercury, our mind
power travelling through Virgo, there was a strong propensity to overthink, over
analyse and worry! If your mind has been trying to run the show during this
time, you can get some respite now as Mercury moves into Venus/our heart ruled
Libra.
Love,
balance, peace and harmony for our minds!
Mercury is our mind power, our thinking
capacity. Moving into air sign Libra is a balancing experience we all need
after the shake, rattle and roll of the past week or two. It should be a little
easier to come back to our heart energy working with our mind.
Resting
in the ambivalence:
Allowing
solutions to emerge from a centred mind!
Venus rules
Libra and seeks beauty, harmony, love, peace and justice. Libra is an air sign,
an energy of the mind and with Mercury here, we’re getting the opportunity to
bring inner conflict and confusion into peace, harmony and loving
resolution.
Talks, negotiations and agreements can be
fruitful:
Mercury, our communicator, seeks justice and equity, a fair deal
while he’s in Libra!
Libra rules
relationships, one-on-one partnerships of all kinds, including marriage,
business and close friendships.
Loving partnerships:
Mercury brings a talkfest
to loving partnerships!
Time to
talk about love, talk about partnership, talk about relationships, talk about
marriage!
It’s not
necessarily a time to make decisions about this area of your life. Heaven
forbid trying to come to a decision with Mercury in the sign of ‘will I/won’t I’
as Libra has to weigh all the pros and cons and reach a balanced choice.
Sorting
through relationship ‘issues’ such as values and attitudes:
Ideally, something
comes to peace within you!
However,
it’s a good time to discuss what you want in a relationship, marriage and/or to
examine this in your own mind or even with a close friend, family member,
therapist or significant other in your life.
My mother
in her 90’s asked me quite a few years ago ‘What does it mean when people say
they’re in a relationship?’ It’s a tricky one, eh?
Commercial talks positive and beneficial to
both: Win/win is possible!
Of course
it’s up to us to look for equitable and peaceful solutions to ongoing problems
and for significant business associates to be coming from a similar stance.
However, as we are all being affected by this energy, we are likely to find
people more agreeable if the projects, enterprises or solutions have an
equitable outcome.
When in talks, utilise the words ‘fair deal’, ‘equity’,
‘justice’ to raise awareness of the other party.
Of course,
we always have to deal with personal mindsets as to the nature of equity and
what constitutes a fair deal!
Mirror,
mirror on the wall: Be warned about mirroring during this
time!
You may
find you or others dealing with projections. If someone’s ‘triggering’ a
reaction in you, look to yourself first to ensure it’s not a reflection of
yours. Things can get confusing with Libran energy with relationships turning
into smoke and mirrors. If you’re feeling confused at some interchange with
another, just take a breath and get clear on what you’re saying and if it’s
coming from your heart or from some old conditioned response.
Just keep
coming back to ‘who am I in essence?’

Loving our everyday lives: Restoring
joy in our lives on earth!
Virgo is a very practical, earthy sign. We may
not associate Virgo with the elemental kingdom but it is very much aligned with
the gentle Virgo energies and Virgo’s connection to the goddess and the earth
energies. Time to reconnect to the earth spirits and to really focus on the good
things in our lives on earth.
Reclaiming
the joy of life as an earthling:
Venus is love, beauty, harmony, peace and
justice. In Virgo, we have the opportunity to ground our Venus energy into our
everyday lives. The mundane can get a real lift with this energy as we
recapture our love of the earth and re-ignite the joy in our heart when we see
earthly beauty.
Doing
the hard yards on planet earth: Survival of the fittest?
Many people across the world are doing hard
yards with the earthly life, struggling to survive in war, famine, conflict,
financial, health and pure survival issues. Institutions, governments,
religions which once supported people are no longer offering the same support.
In so many ways, for millions of people, our world is crumbling.
Loving
our way out of the struggle:
It really
is a call to arms and the question lies with many ‘how can I change my life and
other lives on earth for the better?’ Start with the heart and love!
Yes,
there’s some problem solving ahead but not with the mind. We have to work with
the heart energy and go from there. More to come on this one!
Opening
hearts to our earthly lives: Opening our hearts in gratitude and renewing faith
in our entitlement to a joyful, abundant life!
First, we need to reaffirm that we are
earthlings, even if we feel like aliens. That big Aquarian supermoon a couple
of weeks back was like a call to go home to the stars. That’s how Aquarian
energy can affect us, reconnecting us to our planetary families. However, many
resisted the urge to check out and agreed to stay the distance on the yellow
brick road.
The
rainbow energy beckons with its call to unity:
Earthlings time for
wholeness!
There’s big
healing coming in with Venus in Virgo, reconnecting to Mother Earth and her
abundance. Let’s not forget, in astrology Venus rules love and money I know
of so many people who are dealing with money issues, worry about money, fear
about not having enough money, insufficient income etc. However, this feeling
of ‘lack’ whether real or imagined, is driving us all on to new solutions to
living on the earth in a more harmonious loving way.
Whether in community with
like minded others or living alone, with a partner, many of us considering our
futures in career, earnings and lifestyle. A good time to check in with the
heart!
Healing
the heart and body: Virgo, the master healer is with us!
Virgo is
the master healer and with Venus here, we have a big opportunity to renew our
love for our physical body and our physical existence. I know of many who have
been feeling a loss in the joy of life. Time to call it back in! Call in the
connection to the earth and your own entitlement as a being on earth!

As always
love and blessings as we roll on to the Full Moon in Pisces on 9th. From the
beginning of September, we’re in a settling mode with some breathing space even
though the rumblings of deeply buried memories are still surfacing and
releasing. We’re healing. That means coming to wholeness, reclaiming all the
aspects that have fractured, split off through trauma, this life and past
lives.
Time to
open our hearts and minds to love and the power of love to change our lives.
Connect to the heart, the earth and speak the words of love ‘I love you’!
