Hi everyone! Wow! What a week it's been!
What’s been happening:
Defences are down:
The impact
of the Scorpio Full Moon has been pushed along by significant solar activity
including flares, a major X flare, geomagnetic disturbances and ongoing earth
disturbances of seismic activity and extreme weather events
We’re
riding the waves of that Scorpio Full Moon on 4th. We’re still in the letting
go process, letting it all hang out, fall out, drop off, release and in the
process, we’re letting in new light on old ‘wounds’.
Ongoing
intensity: Waves of change!
Even though the Full Moon came to full strength
on 4th, it seems that the intensity of the ongoing energies have been taking us
in and out of the change process of letting go, changing and transforming our
place on earth.
We may not
know where we’re going just yet as the release has not come to an end.
An end to
this cycle, anyway.
Karmic,
genetic release:
Stripping bare and healing the spiritual wounds! Resistance
is futile!
If the last week felt at all like a struggle,
take it that some aspect within you was resisting the change process. All those
‘histories’ we carry within, secreted memory in our cells and genetic coding
from the ancestors, past lives/other realities were really challenged to release
their hold on us as we brought in new light and the power of love and gentleness
and compassion.
In the
current energies, all resistance is futile. We are in the throes of a huge
whirlpool of change in consciousness. It’s an inner change, not necessarily
evident in our physical existence. However, we may be getting insights in bits
and pieces and encouragement in fits and starts.
We may feel
empowered one minute and decimated the next. It’s a bit like the waves picking
us up and crashing us down onto the beach.
Doesn’t
matter if you took a mouthful of sand or water as you were dashed onto the
shore. Sounds Piscean doesn’t it. Well, Neptune and Chiron in Pisces have an
ongoing role in our healing and transcendence.

Global and personal shifting: Physical,
political, economic, social
As we feel
the layers of false pride, confusion, emotional baggage being lifted from us, so
we see the mirroring in our world. This is an ongoing process, particularly
with Pluto in Capricorn long term bringing up deep energies buried within the
earth and within our systems of government, economies and systems.
With the
move of the Sun into Taurus in April, there seemed to be an escalation of
physical earth disturbances, solar activity and extreme weather. Taurus is an
earth sign and with other planetary energies can impact on our bodies and Mother
Earth’s body.
On the
personal level, we continue to bring up the suppressed memories of other times
particularly relating to overbearing and oppressive patriarchal authorities in
both the public and private sphere. We’re learning to take our power in the best
possible way.
In
the Scorpio cauldron until 18th May New Moon in Taurus:
We’re in
the releasing/stripping away process until the New Moon in Taurus on 18th May.
That New
Moon lifts us out of the Scorpio Full Moon emotional releasing process and sets
our course in a new direction.
The New
Moon in Taurus on 18th is likely to show a few signposts of how we bring the
transforming self into a new relationship with our earthly existence.

Home is where the heart is!
This homily could not be better said than about
Venus in Cancer.
Cancer is
about the home, the mother energy and nurturing. It’s about childhood and our
childhood home.
Where do
you belong:
Spiritually,
Cancer is our place of ‘belonging’, where we feel love, peace, acceptance and
alignment with ourselves and our ‘tribe’.
That sense
of belonging can come from a geographic location, a cultural resonance, a
‘tribal’ connection as in a like minded community. Most of all, it comes from
being at one with ourselves, accepting and loving ourselves and our place in the
world.
Home
sweet home: A healing time!
Any
antagonism and conflict within the home, relationships and family have the
potential to be resolved during this time. Finding a common bond, common values
and talking things through from the heart rather than the mind can offer much
healing. Past ills can be put to rest.
Connecting
with the ‘ancestors’: Bringing peace and love to the past! Hearts are now
open!
Cancer rules the past, memories and the
ancestors. Reunions of all kids are very likely at this time especailly with
Mercury in shadow retrograde and due to retrograde on 18th May. Mercury
retrograde takes us back to the past to recover that which needs finding.

in Gemini supporting ‘connections’ to ancestors, family, planetary families:
Lines are now open!
With
Mercury in Gemini, travelling ‘out of bounds’ connecting to new consciousness
and expanding the playing field, our lines of communication with other realities
and other times, are being opened and strengthened. All beneficial. This is
like a super highway communication channel. Gemini is the sign of communication
and Mercury its ruler is opening us to all forms of communication, at home, with
family, with those who have passed on and the other dimensions. Take some time
to talk with your families and homes in the other dimensions.

Mental as anything:
Mars joins Mercury
in firing up our mental and mind energies!
Gemini is a
mental energy currently being fired up by its ruler Mercury which moved into
Gemini on 1st May. The mind is racing and now Mars is in the driving seat! Look
out!
Metaphysically:
Gemini rules the nervous system, respiratory system arms and legs.
You would
have noticed since Mercury’s been in Gemini that the mind energies have felt a
little scattered. Gemini likes variety, doing a hundred things all at once,
needing the stimulation of the mind to feel alive.
Possible
side effects:
Nervous tension, worry, mental confusion,anxiety,
frustration!
Gemini wants to work things out through the
mental processes and as we know, we just can’t come to a satisfactory solution
unless heart and spirit are engaged.
The
challenge: Focussing the mind and alignment with divine will!
In the
upcoming weeks Mars will be adding to the Mercury ‘make it happen now’ energy.
We need to keep checking in with our spirit to ensure we’re taking the ‘high
road’!
Mercury
and Mars, the planetary shakers, shifter movers!
Now both in
Gemini:
Mars, our fire and drive, joins Mercury, our mind
energy in the sign of duality, the sign of communication. Both these planets
like speed and action. Mercury likes mental action and Mars likes physical
action offering the fire and drive which is likely to spiritually kickstart
anyone who’s been languishing.
Fired
for action: Make a choice, a decision and go for it!
Remain
focussed!
How can we
best utilise this incredible energy in the most productive way. We need to be
focussed and maintain the focus on our project/s. Rest assured, under this
influence, more than one possibility, idea or opportunity may present to us
during this time. Best to pick one and go for it! Pull out all the
stops!
Buzzing
with ideas and words:
Gemini rules communication and with Mercury
there, we’re buzzing with ideas and words. This energy is a great time for
anyone working creatively in the media, mass media, talking, writing,
interacting with others in group settings.
With
Mercury already in shadow retrograde, preparing to retrograde from the 19th May,
we’ve got the perfect energy for applying our communication skills in whatever
capacity suits.
Mercury retrograde time is a perfect time to work on
writing/talking projects, tweaking, editing, rewriting and reviewing.
Whatever’s in the pipeline will be the most likely to benefit from this upcoming
period.
Commercially:
Ramping up the activity!
Nothing’s really fixed but a lot of talk and
interchange!
Gemini rules commerce and with Mars, planet of
fire and drive joining Mercury in this sign, there’s a likelihood that the
traders and business community will
feel
activated. Again, we need to remind ourselves that contracts and agreements made
during this shadow Mercury retrograde period to 19th along with Mercury
retrograde period of 3 weeks from 19th has the potential of things jumping with
activity and then a stalling or people changing their minds.
There’s
likely to be lots of talk, ideas developing, enthusiasm growing and potential
revealed. We could all welcome this period of time as it promises creative
growth and stimulation, something that’s been difficult to access in the past
months of inner change process.
14th to
15th May:
Mars in Gemini opposes/challenges Saturn in Sagittarius
A balancing act in communication and social interactions!
Just a short transit of a couple of days when
communication can work brilliantly if we balance the tightrope demonstrating our
mastery and our capacity to harness our fire, drive and passion in negotiations,
exchanges with authorities, father figures in the wider world.
Mars gives
us the confidence to speak up if required in order to take our higher authority
in the wider world. This could happen in any environment from home, school,
work, business interests, government. In fact, we may be called upon to do just
that.
It’s
important to temper the Mars confidence and the Mercury quick thinking mind with
the willingness to listen to others and really hear what they’re saying, whether
an individual or an organisation.
'I want to know what love is':
Venus is
likely to help in the home as in Cancer she’s seeking harmony and love. At this
time, everyone’s looking to be heard, accepted and to find they belong in this
world. At the moment, we’re all finding ourselves, our calling and our place on
earth.

physical body are both on the move and energetically changing consciousness as
we pull away from the Full Moon and move towards the New Moon in Taurus on 18th
May.

at home, feeling more secure and safe within your being whilst allowing Mars to
be uplifted into the upper spheres of the Gemini mind.
