Hi everyone!
Time for lightening up!
Whew! The Sun is moving from Capricorn into Aquarius, a shift of focus
from tradition and the old paradigm and status quo into the realms of new
paradigm and new, leading edge thinking. We’re doing a ‘Bowie’!
It’s been an earthy time with a focus on the
physical:
This past month has been particularly challenging for many of us with much
earth energy activating and clearing at a deep level in our physical bodies.
Mercury the mind manager: In retreat and
‘confusion’!
With Mercury in Capricorn for an extended stay, thanks to
Mercury retrograde, we’ve been dealing with MEMORIES buried within our physical
beings, memories from times, places, people we may not even know. Of course,
childhood comes into this memory reclamation.
We’ve been held in the waiting game as we let go, let go, let go and allow
our divine pathway to open up to us as we clear the impediments and blockages of
the past.
What’s been
happening:
21st January: Sun moved into Aquarius
at 2.27 am AEDT
Until 19th February
Aquarian urge for freedom
calls:
We rise up from our earthly lives to be given a glimpse of new
territories, new energies, innovative thinking and a broad vision of humanity.
In this energy we have the opportunity to expand our love for humanity whilst
detaching from the emotions which hold us in turmoil and limited thinking.
Transcending emotions:
It’s the Aquarian energy which gives us the mental detachment from the
emotional maelstrom of our lives. We can become the observer of our personal
‘soapies’ and in doing so, access the higher mind which offers a clarity we
cannot access while we’re swimming like hell with the tribal earth
energies.
From Capricorn to Aquarius: Shifting the status
quo!
David Bowie was born under a Capricorn Sun with an Aquarian ascendant, both
indicators of what he brought into the world. He was without doubt a
‘mover/shaker’ of the status quo.
Leap from ‘security’ into the unknown:
Sometimes the Capricorn energy can keep us clinging to the safety and
security of what we have in our material world, our physical lives. Every one
of us is embedded with the status quo derived from earthly laws created by
humans arising from their particular ideologies, whether religious, political or
philosophical. If we want to grow we need to take some leaps into new
lands.
21st January: Sun moved from Capricorn into Aquarius at
2.27 am AEDT...a few indicators of the paradigm shift currently
underway
What a lot is happening at the
moment! Just joining a few dots here. Increasing evidence of the paradigm
shift!
With the Sun’s move from
Capricorn, the sign of tradition, the status quo, the establishment and
tradition into Aquarius, the sign of leading edge thinking, we're shifting the
status quo! Of course it’s ongoing but seems to be escalating this year!
A few performance indicators
to consider: Endings and Beginnings in a 9 year of completion!
1. Artistic
icons leaving planet earth...ending of an era! Their work is
complete.
2. 'The old order's
rapidly changing' and they're getting a little crazy out there! Politics! 'Old’ conservative political
powers seeking selection, seeking reclamation of their position/s of power.
Mercury retrograde in Capricorn which rules systems, governments etc. has been
taking us back to the past and bringing some ‘ghosts’ out of the closets.
Crazy political energies
coming forward more forcibly in what seems a bid to wrench back time into the
‘old order’, to maintain the status quo. Politicians of the conservative order
are returning in a bid to reclaim their positions and promote their
ideology.
3. Large business
interests and companies folding, going into receivership. In Australia
we’ve had a few big ones closing their doors. Mercury rules commerce and
Capricorn rules big business and governments. With Pluto in Capricorn long term
we’re likely to see more significant changes in our commercial, government and
monetary sectors.
4. Stockmarkets
unsteady and volatile... good old Pluto does his stuff as he is still
hovering close to a square with Uranus, the sudden game changer. of course once
again, Mercury/commerce retrograde in Capricorn is playing a part in this
process. Interesting to see how things settle when Mercury moves direct after
26th and again when Mercury moves out of Capricorn on 10th February.
5. New planet: An
emerging new consciousness
The ‘discovery’ of a potential
new planet at the edge of our solar system being called Planet 9 in a 9
universal year. Interesting too, that this planet has not yet been sighted but
MSM is posting photos which I assume are a composite of its potential. Whenever
something is discovered/changed in the sky, in space, astrologers read that as a
sign of a shift in consciousness. Something new has been sensed even though not
sighted.

6. Five planets lining
up in the sky for the next month: Alignment of the personal and social
planetary energies!
At the same time we have an
unusual line up of 5 planets visible in the sky, a phenomenon not experienced
for 12 years. The planets are Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn. Mercury,
Venus and Mars are what we call the personal planets and represent our mind,
heart and body. Jupiter and Saturn are considered the ‘social’ planets, the
energies which impact and shift our societies and social perspectives.
Have we got our ducks in a
row...or what!
More information:
Above graphic shows
the planets aligning with the moon on 28th January
23rd January: Jupiter conjoins North Node in Virgo at 22
degrees at 9.49 pm exact... big release and realignment!
Effective from 8th January through to 15th February
Interesting that these two meet in the hours leading us into the Full Moon
energies. The focus is planetary healing and realignment and with Jupiter
involved it’s BIG and expansive as we release all those energies which are
holding us back from planetary evolution. It’s planetary and of course it
impacts every one of us right through to mid February.
If you’re feeling it in the physical body, this aspect could be a
contributing factor as we are uplifted by our planetary Soul Star into a higher
order.
24th
January: Venus moves into Capricorn at 7.31 am AEDT
Until 17th February
What will waken your heart to its joy and inner respect?
‘The hills are alive with the sound of music’. If they’re not let’s trust
they will be as we are swept up by the power of the Full Moon release of the old
and insights into the new.
Time for a heart ‘makeover’:
The heart doesn’t lie. It knows of our true loves and
hopes, what brings us alive and what we desire most in our earthly existence.
We’ve translated so much of heart desires into monetary success and social
status in the world that for many we’ve lost touch with the real essence of our
heart and what truly brings it joy.
‘Peak’ experiences of heart opening:
Now in Capricorn, we’re going to be aligned at the heart
level with ‘our’ highest mountain, our peak experience of joy and love. This
‘place’ of inner security comes from the sense of personal respect for who we
are and what we have to offer the world which brings us joy and a sense of
belonging.
Valuing our true worth and place in the world: It’s not just about
money!
We’ll be discovering how we value our particular contribution and a deep
sense of relevance and the importance of our place in the scheme of things.
This is not about inflated self-importance but a very real feeling that we are
valuable to ourselves and to life.
24th January: Full Moon in Leo at 3
degrees 29 Leo at 12.45 pm AEDT...balloons of opportunity!
Completion, culmination: The big bang! What’s coming to fullness
in your life?
Every full moon brings something to a head,
something to light, something to a completion. We get endings which may not
play out for another 2 weeks or a month. The full moon brings the realisations
to light from the subconscious and we say ‘I get it!’
Full Moons light up what has been hidden. Which balloons are filling with
life and which balloons have lost their life force. What is no longer in our
best interests will be released!
Leo rules children, inner child, love, romance and creativity:
Leo wants to play and have fun, nothing too serious although
love affairs can potentially become serious when they’re best taken on as a
light and free romance. After all, Leo is a fixed sign and that energy may like
to pin things down with some permanency.
Release of old memories: Mercury is slowing and
memories intensify!
The moon rules memories and carries memories in our
subconscious. With Mercury in retrograde and slowing to change direction on
26th the energy is intensified. Adding to this, Mercury our mind is sitting
together with Pluto/deep transformer on 15 degrees and they’re squaring off to
Uranus, the awakener at 16 degrees.
Memories from childhood, romantic relationships or in
relationship to the expression or suppression of our creativity, our ‘essence’
could be significant.
Bottom line: Let those ‘old balloons’
go!
We’re likely to have a big release of old memories. This could
be feel emotional and/or physical as we let go of old mindsets and belief
systems which are embedded in the cell memories/DNA.
Judging by the past few weeks which have been quite physically
heavy for many of us, this will probably feel like a blessed relief as the
denser energies move on. We’re already in the process but the full moon along
with Mercury slowing will make things happen pretty quickly up to 26th when
Mercury turns.
Dreams provide a wonderful release time as well as significant insights
during full moons.
The Full Moon in Leo:
Leo’s ruler is the Sun, our own personal
essence, our light! Charisma!
When we are living, breathing, exuding and
exulting in being ourselves, we become charismatic. We are ‘full of’ ourselves
in the best possible way. That’s what Leo energies can offer us as they ignite
our spiritual flame. The Leo moon is a reflective light bouncing off the
Aquarian Sun and therefore that ‘essence’ can come forward in a very gentle way,
uncovered and discovered in the light of the moon. Take some time to tune into
the heart which is making a guest appearance in ‘The Sound of Music’ and you may
be overwhelmed by your own beautiful spirit.
Leo calls forth our creative impulses which express the spirit of who we
are, which excite us with the joy of the creative process. We are tuned into
our own charisma, the brightest and best of who we are.
Love and romance is the Leo game: Charisma calls it
in!
We all know that when we are fully in our loving spirit, we attract
others to us as we shine our light. This is not an ego based energy. This is
being filled with the joy of life, loving being alive which is not dependent on
being approved by or impressing others. It is self-centred in the best possible
way. It isn’t selfish to enjoy our lives and enjoy our own company. Think
about how you entertain yourself because the Leo energy is a big part of this.
It’s fun and entertaining.
Just remember to keep new connections to a lightness which is romantic. We
are so concerned with permanence we often kill off some joyful encounters which
could offer a sharing of some part of the road, even if not the whole trip.
The Sun in Aquarius opposite the Full Moon: From
a distance, the world looks calm...
With the asteroid Athena sitting in close proximity to the Aquarian Sun,
there’s a good chance that we can keep more of a handle on that over the top
emotional energy so prevalent at the Full Moon. Athena is the goddess of wisdom,
courage and ‘just’ warfare. She offers us independence and the creative
intelligence to solve problems through strategic thinking. Sidling up to the
Aquarian Sun, we’re being offered some mental perspectives which can clarify
during a somewhat ‘muddled’ period of releasing the old paradigm.
Saturn, Lord of Karma is crossing the Great Attractor, a black
hole vacuuming up the flotsam:
Minnie sure looks like the old paradigm fit of ‘life is hard work and
struggle’, the old Saturn energy!
Saturn at 13 degrees Sagittarius will be crossing the Great Attractor at 14
degrees until mid February so plenty of time to let go of karmic baggage.
Saturn in Sagittarius is karmic release as we reorient our spirits to a higher
order.
Sagittarius is calling us all to higher learning, higher consciousness and
Saturn’s new paradigm motto is ‘take your authority’ and let go of the hard work
and struggle which have kept us all on the treadmill.
Interesting that Venus moving into Saturn’s sign Capricorn is helping with
the whole heart opening process for us to love, respect and value
ourselves.
If you’ve got any planets around 12 to 15 degrees of Sagittarius, Gemini,
Pisces or Virgo you may well be feeling this whole process. I say this because
my Sun is opposite the Great Attractor and I’ve been brought to my knees the
past 3 days or so. Now Saturn rules bones, skeleton, knees and joints.
Sagittarius rules hips and thighs. I’ve been ‘hit’ in these areas but trust the
full moon will release a whole lot and the vacuuming process of the Great
Attractor will continue ‘sucking the dust’ out of me.
26th January: Mercury moves direct in
Capricorn 8.49 am AEDT at 14 degrees 55 Capricorn
Until 14th February when Mercury moves into Aquarius
Moving but slowly: Easy does it!
We’re on the move again albeit slowly as Mercury slowly pulls away from his
‘station’. Easy does it as we’re in retrograde shadow for a couple more weeks so
our engines won’t be exactly chuffing along just yet!
On the return journey: Back from the hills!
We’re now coming back over old territory, the territory we covered when we
took to the hills of the retrograde journey back around 20th December 2015.
Third time lucky they say and as we move forward once again over the same
territory for the 3rd time we’ll discover just how much mental debris we’ve
cleared out of our cell memories.
Old paradigms examined and reviewed: Keeping the best of it! A
revival!
The focus this retrograde period has been on ‘re-arranging’ the status quo
in our mindsets, belief systems and memory banks. Mercury retrograde is always
about a rethink, redo, review culminating in a revival and resurgence of mental
clarity and fresh perspectives.
Sabian Symbols for the Full Moon in Leo:

The
Full Moon: Leo 4
SOMEONE FORMALLY DRESSED STANDS NEAR TROPHIES BROUGHT
BACK FROM A HUNTING EXPEDITION
This Symbol speaks of awards and trophies and displaying what one is
capable of or what’s been achieved or won. Putting on your best and showing
people what you’re made of is great, but it is one thing to achieve something
and yet another to display one's achievements for all to see. There may be an
urge to impress others, but some people will be very impressed whilst others may
be distinctly unimpressed. Think carefully of the effects before you proclaim
your winnings or awards or show what you’ve conquered, but don’t hide your light
either! Remember; trophies come in all shapes and sizes. Trophies of conquest.
The will to prove oneself. Showing one's animal instincts for the benefit of
society. Daring and courage. Notches on the belt. Diplomas. Guns and
bullets.
The Caution: Trying to dominate the elements of nature with power. Warfare and its ravages. Seeing things as objects to conquer. Braggers and boasters. Arrogance.

A HINDU HEALER GLOWS WITH A MYSTIC HEALING
POWER
This Symbol shows a “Healing”, to be able to tune into a sense of
radiant health and show the path for others to follow in life. The “Hindu
Healer” is often someone who practices forms of healing, often alternative; they
channel the power of God to affect a healing process. Often, you’ll find that
solving problems logically and rationally doesn’t work as well as employing more
creative or spiritual solutions. There may be a need to heal wounds, illness,
trauma or some other affected part of the body or mind. Look to your spiritual
center for healing power. This requires focus, practice and determination. The
healing can lead to profound results. Divine healing potency. Natural methods.
Finding one's spiritual center. Auras. Time alone. Glowing health. Radiating
love, faith and hope. Yoga. Yogis. Reiki. Pranic energy.
The Caution: False claims of powers. Charlatans. Manipulation. Tricks with smoke and mirrors. The failure of orthodox healing. Neglect of body, health or relationships.
