from the chair: 26th April: 2020: Pluto stations retrograde, 28th April Mercury moves to Taurus

Hi everyone!

We’re travelling in the light of the Taurus Sun carried forward in the lunar energy of the New Moon in Taurus. We’re on ‘the road less travelled’ which at times can feel lonely. It may seem more so at this time as so much of the world is in lockdown, isolation or quarantine.

One door closes, another opens: Look to the new!

The Taurus energy seeks physical comfort and security, the physical connection with loved ones and the sensuality and beauty of the earth’s gifts. However, we are now being denied so many of these familiar pleasures. We’re being asked to activate our energetic and cosmic connections to others.

Bringing our cosmic powers into our bodies, our earthly lives:

My last update was filled with cosmic images despite the earthy nature of the Taurus energies now available to and activating us. The message is clear at this time that we need to be accessing those cosmic energies to bring into our earthly lives. Yes, it’s the bigger picture, the picture of a more evolved consciousness beyond the history of this planet.

Believing in the abundance of Mother Earth: We are safe, protected, healthy, healed, whole!

Taurus is offering us the abundance of Mother Earth, an activation of our values, what is most valuable to us and a valuing of ourselves, our worthiness and value on earth at this time. If we believe the universe brings all that we need when we need, then we are reaffirming our faith in earthly abundance and cosmic support.

It’s stocktaking time!

Pluto may be little but he is a power pack bringing deep change!

Pluto is the planet/dwarf planet right on the outer edges of our galaxy, immensely slow moving yet carries some weight in Astrology ever since his discovery and naming in the 1930’s.

Ongoing deep transformation of our status quo, our foundations!

Pluto is Lord of the Underworld, ruler of Scorpio, life, death and transformation at the deepest layers of our being. Pluto is in Capricorn for the long haul until 2024 so we know that the overhaul of our structures, systems, governments, power brokers, banks and multinationals is still very much in process.

Saturn/Puto meeting in January set the agenda: Deep change!

January’s meeting of Pluto and Saturn in Capricorn guaranteed a major year of change and disruption happening as they did on an eclipse and triggering all to focus on the North Node in Cancer as our evolutionary growth point. Our Capricorn status quo is being forced to change from deep within its foundations.

Pluto retrograde:

Stocktaking time...where are we? What needs to go?

Pluto retrogrades each year which gives us time to review, consider and recover any deep changes which have been happening. Retrograde time feels like we’re covering old territory and we are, making sure the i’s are dotted and t’s are crossed. Now we’re in this time warp of Pluto retrograde until early October.

He’s been sitting on 24 degrees Capricorn for about 2 months and although he ‘turns’ on 25 degrees, he goes straight back to 24 degrees within a day or two.

He’s on that degree for another couple of months before moving to 23 degrees.

Personally: The bottom line for us...death to the old benchmarks, status quo, establishment rules, social conditioning!

We are all engaged in this immense deconstruction of the oppressive societal structures which have been in power for so long. The personal brief is about examining our own motivations for our words, thoughts, emotions and actions in our lives. This is long term change so patience, focus and determination are all required as we clear the old memory banks from our beings...mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually.

Divine truth, divine integrity: Stay focussed on personal truth even as the world crumbles around us!

We all have our own path and need to utilise our own judgement in doing whatever it takes so we cannot afford to dwell too long on what we may see as shortfalls in others. We can’t afford to waste energy on ‘correcting’ others as we don’t really know what their soul is teaching them. It really is a time to be in integrity and honour our fellow comrades and pilgrims.

Mercury has been in fiery Aries: A time of inner stress, ‘fighting’ and conflict!Mercury has been keeping us on the hop, sometimes hopping mad with his travels through fiery Aries, sign of the warrior and soldier. We’ve been motivated to take on ‘the fight’ with words, often words of anger, frustration and irritation.

It’s time for our mental body to come to peace and unity within!

R & R time!

Mercury likes to be on the go. With Mars, he’s one of activators in terms of our personal lives but he often sets off the nervous system and the overworking the mind at the expense of the body. The polarity of our minds can now take time out as we regroup, recover from all that has been stirred by Mercury’s trek through Aries.

Time out for our physical bodies to take charge: Rest, relax, renew!

We’re going to get some time out from the mental agitation if we can but allow ourselves to slow mentally and rest the nervous system. Taurus is the slowest moving and most dense of all the signs, being a fixed earth sign.

Slowing the mind....good preparation for May’s retrograding energies!

No, it’s not Mercury in retrograde. That won’t be until June/July. However, this slowing energy of Mercury along with Pluto’s very slow movement is preparing us for May when Saturn, Venus and Jupiter all shift into retrograde periods.

Accessing the airwaves of communication across the world:

We’re together and apart yet infinitely connected through our cells, our memories, the earth herself.

Our capacity for communication beyond the words we speak or write is being awakened as we seek the connection with others across all distances.

If you believe in, or have experienced a capacity to visit with others across the world through the psychic airwaves, this is not news to you. Having discovered this capacity many years ago, I use this ability with wisdom, do not invade the boundaries of others without their invitation.

We all have this capacity if we are prepared to develop and practise utilising these innate skills. And it is up to us how we use these skills and our motivation. We have the power to prevent ‘invasion’ of our psychic space if necessary but we need to be aware of the energies who may visit, whether they are ‘lost souls’ roaming on the astral plane or visiting ascended masters. We need to ask ‘do you come in love and light?’ Just one way of determining who presents to you.

May begins a whole new planetary focus and direction:

These energies are being opened up in all of us. With May’s promise of Venus retrograding in the sign of communication, Gemini as well as our Planetary North Node shifting into Gemini plus Mercury moving into Gemini, the challenge/opportunity will be to become discerning, to unify our broken hearts and minds, putting aside mental conflict and opening to new avenues for communication. Gemini is one of the ‘channelling’ energies. The accuracy of the messages depends on our vibration. After all, Gemini is the dual mind, our dual carriageway that needs to be united in peace and harmony.
