from the chair: 30th December 2020: Full Moon in Cancer

Hi everybody!

Well we’re still here, most of us. We've said goodbye to a few of our number along the way. It's been a big year of goodbyes!

The Eclipse energies are still active!

Still travelling within the eclipse vortex of change process set in motion with the Solar Eclipse at the New Moon in Sagittarius on 14th December. With all the other planetary changes, it seems easy to lose sight of this ongoing propulsion of sudden and unexpected change which is carrying us into the New Year and on to the next New Moon in Capricorn.

For this month, we’re in the light of the Capricorn Sun although our Capricorn ‘team’ has diminished as Saturn and Jupiter moved on. However, Pluto remains in Capricorn until 2024 indicating the Capricorn makeover has a way to go yet.

And Mercury, our mind manager is working on our Capricorn mindsets until 8th January. Capricorn carries powerful manifestation power...time to access this. Saturn and Jupiter now in the stars bringing new visions! We need to feel heartened by a whole new focus and impetus which has changed the nature of the scenery as

Saturn and Jupiter left the mountain top and lifted us into the cosmic visions of the Aquarian energies. Now it’s time to bring those visions into our earthly lives.

Mercury with Sun in Capricorn: It’s getting ‘personal’...manifestation!

For this month we’re still grounded by the Capricorn Sun and the presence of Mercury still travelling through Capricorn until 8th January when he joins the Aquarian team. Capricorn is about responsibility and authority and for now he’s calling attention to our mental energies how we harness our mind in manifesting physically.

Focus on responsibility for the mind, the thoughts, and mental power:

Mercury may have had us in a bit of mental turmoil as in Capricorn he wants to get moving, ‘to do’, to bring ideas into practical reality. With present restrictions on our physical movement, we may have felt as though our wings have been clipped. We’re being contained by forces beyond our personal world. We are being called to take responsibility for our thoughts/Mercury creating our reality/Capricorn.

Mars still on his big journey in Aries: The ‘warrior’ is returning!

Mars, our fire, drive and ruler of our physical body is still trekking through his own sign of Aries where he’s been travelling since 28th June this year.

He’s still covering ‘old territory’ as he travels through shadow retrograde energy until just into the New Year. So if it feels like energies are still depleted, trust that this is a big clearing of our physical being of the spiritual wounds/memories still releasing from our physical body. He’s very much working in with the culmination of this year of spiritual/physical transformation and the exhaustion at the end of a big calendar year for planet earth.

Mars and Mercury: Restoring clarity...especially at the Full Moon!

As Mars rules the head, you might be finding that the Mercury energies in Capricorn, the mental energies, are impacting on the head. Surrendering the mental constructs of the old status quo is likely to bring relief to the mind, the head, the skeleton, joints, teeth, knees. These two will be working together in these signs into the end of that first week of January in these signs. Their ‘work’ will continue when Mercury and Mars both change signs at the end of Week 1 in January.

Mars is free of the shackles of the past, finishing his Aries journey!

We’re likely to feel some fiery uplift from just into the new year as Mars has five days in Aries to get a taste of his old spirit power and strength. This is likely to be felt as a fiery release from the physical body as well. We’re in new territory.

The Solstice and the big meeting

Saturn/Jupiter at 0 degrees Aquarius...bliss and bust!

That last week before the Solstice and the big ‘meet’ with Saturn and Jupiter felt like total overwhelm with so much activity in the cosmos. What a big doorway of change!

Wow! What a doorway!

The past week since the big Aquarian doorway opening has left many of us feeling exhausted, drained of all the energy that has kept us going over the past year/3 years. It’s been a time of rest and integrating, adjusting to and assimilating the new energies. In particular, getting used to Saturn and Jupiter in Aquarius.

We all experience in different ways: The universe brings what we need!

While many were experiencing a huge experience of bliss out, I was in a huge spiritual/physical purge which left me feeling cleansed, purified and afterwards strengthened.

Of course, such experiences are triggered by something happening in our world and for me, it was pushing myself to finish that huge update even while I was dead exhausted and had all manner of support people calling on me, phoning me for appointments.

It has been the Christmas period and now post Christmas that has given me time to recover and renew in peace. I need plenty of quiet alone time for my life, healing and creative work.

So to all of you, if the earth and the cosmos didn’t move quite in the way you’d hoped, take heart. It’s all in the pipeline.

Goodbye to the past and hello to the future!

Cancer is the sign of the divine mother, the feminine energy which nurtures, nourishes and gives birth to the new. Full Moons help us release the old and bring in new possibilities from deep within our subconscious.

Unfinished ‘business’ and illuminated insights out of the closet!

The Full Moon brings to a head, a culmination and a completion as the moon flushes out all the subconscious, buried emotions which we have put to the side to deal with when we can. Well the time is now! The emotions bring messages about the past as well as the future. This Full Moon brings both together.

The power of ‘the past’, the ancestors and other timelines is fully present!

The Moon rules Cancer so this is the time when she is at her most powerful, when nothing can be denied or ignored. That includes ‘the past’, the ancestors and other timelines and realities to which we are connected by invisible cords of common experience.

Full Moon and Sun activating Uranus in Taurus: Awaken and listen!

With Mercury our messenger whispering to the Capricorn Sun and Uranus, our awakening futurist activating both the Sun and the Moon. It’s time to listen to the other realities, the ancestors and accept information from beyond our 3D vision and which will support our cosmic lift off and rebirth.

Neptune, the visionary activating the planetary nodes for growth!

It’s time to accept the best of the past and what it has to offer while releasing that which is not aligned with our present reality and our vision for our future. Whenever the nodes are activated, we know we’re doing all this together...even while we’re apart!

The Gemini/Sagittarius karmic nodes:

Driving evolution of consciousness through the eclipse portals of change and illumination!

It’s a planetary affair which is ongoing and active during this full moon as Neptune in Pisces squares off/challenges the planetary evolutionary karmic nodes in Gemini and Sagittarius. It’s all in the learning, communication, divine truth and justice as these nodes are still carrying us through the eclipse portal of change.

Together, apart:

The call for ‘connectedness’ to each other spiritually is being brought to the fore as we are disconnected from each physically.

Our learning: We are never apart...spiritually! Our ties to each other are energetic, beyond the physical. As physical beings we feel the separation from others as we are learning to connect in more ways beyond the physical. We are developing our energetic communication skills so our repertoire of connectedness can be expanded beyond our present dimension.

Never a better time to get in touch with the emotions than at the full moon when everything is on show, emerging like ghosts from past times. This one is about healing and clearing the ‘ego’ wounds that have kept us ‘small’, small-minded and limited by the Capricorn benchmarks of society and the Cancerian familial conditioning of childhood.

Marching to the beat of our own drum...AND living and working within a society, a family, a community, a tribe!

We’re learning to accept that we can march to the beat of our own drum and still work with the systemic conditions of being a ‘citizen’ of society and a member of a family. It’s up to us which parts we accept and which we allow to go.

We’re finding our essential selves, the essence which keeps us alive and thriving in the world living in the wider world without compromising the ‘essence’ of who we are.

We’re keeping our earth spinning in the light of the new energy even as we ground ourselves into the Capricorn rock and find safe footing in the way ahead. It’s been a very destabilising year keeping us alert and attentive to danger and sudden change.

After my nearly 6 months in hospital, mostly in bed in the control of the ‘system’, times, meals and dealing with the Capricorn energies of ‘standard procedure’. I felt very much in the front lines of the spiritual warrior ‘fighting’ for my own survival. So many of us have experienced this year in different ways in a variety of settings with yet the same theme of the individual facing society and trying to find common ground. We’re all learning.

I can only wish you all a blessed and freedom releasing New Year following on from this Full Moon in Cancer. I trust we all will find our ‘place of belonging’, the Cancerian brief as well as the building of our cosmic soul tribe across the globe.

We’re leaving a 4 year, a year of finding new foundations for our lives, of marking time, of balancing, of pacing ourselves with all the happenings. Trusting that all we have been learning will set us up to embrace 2021.

Love and blessings to us all as we finish off the old year with a heart warming reunion with ourselves, our ‘families’ of all descriptions and realities and a release of all that does not serve us as cosmic travellers in the coming year...a year of change, travel and movement, albeit spiritually.
