23rd February 2016 Full Moon in Virgo

Hi everyone!

 

Are you awash in the limitless ocean of possibilities?  Are we all at sea in the best possible way, relaxing and floating with the ocean currents, allowing the Pisces energies to uplift us and take us where we need to go?  That’s the ideal expression of this time. 

 

However, other aspects impacting on us may be bringing up doubts. fears and insecurities which are releasing with the Virgo Full Moon energies.  It’s an emotionally cleansing time with so many planetary happenings in the Pisces/Virgo spheres.  Virgo offers purification and Pisces offers a whole ocean of emotion in which we can experience all of life...if we choose!

 

Relax and go with the currents of change:  

Need a snack?  a drink?  Pisces serves it all up as we visualise our dreams and call them in. The most important thing to remember during this time is to allow ourselves to go with the flow. 

 

What challenge/opportunity is coming to completion:

Quite frankly, it’s been the hardest thing for me to do recently as I deal with old reactive emotions which have surfaced once again.  It’s all a necessary part of the process as we’re called to choose the higher path, the path of ease and grace and the path of least resistance.  This, without doubt, has been my greatest challenge this lifetime, a challenge that is now coming to a head.

Dreams to earth, healing and revelations:  

The full moon in Virgo calls us back to our emotional connection to the earth!  Virgo rules healing, health and well being, everyday work and our ‘calling, our divine potential expressed in the world.

It’s a sign of physicality and for that reason, is very much concerned with physical health as well as our physical existence in relation to ‘work’ contribution in the world. 

 

Memories:  Letting in, letting go!  Authentic? Out of date?  Peeling back the layers, purifying!

The Full Moon is all emotion and brings to light memories which have been secreted away in our cell memories and DNA.  How perfect that at this time we are reconnecting to those unconscious emotions, thoughts, experiences which need recognition and possibly resolution. 

 

Authenticity and transparency:  The Virgo healing process!

Some memories are offering reclamation of parts of ourselves which we don’t know well, have forgotten, have ignored.  Those memories which don’t align with our authentic self need to be released and of course, there are come which need to be claimed and brought into our reality now.  Virgo is the sign of the purifying divine mother energy, offering the purging of inauthentic energies from other times and places. 

 

Completion, fulfilment:  Something comes to a head, a fullness, a completion!

Whatever we’ve been working with for the past 2 weeks is now being revealed.  We’ve been through the extensive period of Mercury retrograde which is usually a time of mental confusion and re-working thoughts, beliefs and ideas.  This full moon promises the revelation of what has been in the mist of confusion.  Problems and issues may well be resolved or at least point the way to resolution.

 

 

 

Physical insecurities healing:

Many of the physical insecurities which arose during Mercury’s retrograde in Capricorn may now become settled as we move through the earthy Virgo moon, a sign of healing emotionally in relation to our earthly physical existence.  Whether the insecurities have been ‘real’ or ‘imagined’ they have more than likely emanated from other times and other realities as we have been doing so much earth cleansing and resolution. 

 

 

Insight, enlightenment and inspiration:  Bringing dreams to earth!

This Full Moon connects with the Piscean Sun, a sign that brings inspiration from the outer spheres of consciousness.  If ever we have a full moon which offers the hope of accessing our highest hopes and dreams, the greatest expression of our divinity AND bringing them into the earthly sphere, this is it!  Mercury, the messenger, as Virgo’s ruler offers up new information about our lives on earth and the manifestation of our hopes and dreams.  After we have grabbed the tiger of fear by the tail in our cleansing process, we can draw on the energy for that sense of empowerment that comes when the ‘demons’ are harnessed for positive good in our lives.

 

Virgo is an earth sign, the divine feminine which creates from within, working with the manifestation of hopes and dreams through holding the vision and believing in the vision.  The manifestation on the physical level follows the spiritual energy of creation within our imagination.  

 

Pisces Sun and Neptune:  

Messages from the higher spiritual forces!  A divine partnership...as above so below!

The Pisces Sun is in close proximity to Neptune, Pisces ruler. The Sun in Pisces is floating in the great ocean of limitless possibility and is helping us to explore and discover our potentials, unrecognised aspects of ourselves and new ideas. 

 

Neptune is adding to the power of the Sun at this time enhancing our access to the world of imagination and dream building.  If ever there was a time to change the way we operate, this is it. In watery Pisces we can let go and dissolve the old familiar mental thought processes, the tracks which have been well worn and have always taken us to the same old places.

 

A birth of new consciousness, mind and spirit:  We’re awash in the sea of limitless possibilities!

The Sun is us expressing ourselves in the world and Neptune is happy to work in this new way with the Pisces energy. Conjunctions/meetings between planetary bodies usually signify a rebirth of the two energies.  Neptune, the dreamer meeting with the Sun, our active principle and expression in the wider world, indicates a fresh start with our higher hopes and dreams of our lives on earth.

 

The New Moon in Pisces on 9th March, a solar eclipse, will really bring these energies to a beginning of the manifestation of what is happening at this Full Moon.

 

Healing powers at this full moon:  Heading in the right direction...magnetic north!

The North Node is the planet’s current evolutionary direction and it’s all about healing...for everyone on earth.  Jupiter expands this energy in a powerful optimistic way so that the healing potential at this time is HUGE!  Virgo is an earth sign so this is about physical healing for our lives, our bodies and for Mother Earth herself. It’s also pointing the way for our higher path in relation to work in the everyday world.  If you’re calling in your path of destiny, your divine fulfilment this lifetime, your expression in the world, then this is the energy available for accessing at this time.

 

South Node of the Moon at 20 degrees Pisces joining with Chiron...emotional and spiritual

The South Node is our past and the energies which we are transforming and releasing through accessing the North Node.

Pisces is the collective unconscious and the higher spiritual energies.  Chiron, the wounded healer, is a centaur which brings in the potential for healing of spiritual wounds. He’s travelling long term in Pisces but the fact that he is joining the South Node at this time indicates an immense healing of the spiritual wounds of the collective unconscious.   

 

At this time, we’ve got the healing energies happening at both North and South Nodes of the Moon, the physical and the emotional/spiritual bodies.

 

 

 

Some thoughts from me on the Sabian symbols at this Full Moon:  Balancing and unification of two ‘worlds’, two different dimensions.

It’s interesting to consider the Sabian Symbols for the Full Moon and the Sun at this time as they both offer up images of polarity, opposites.  This seems to me very much a reflection of the dominating planetary energies at this Full Moon along with the impetus for evolution of consciousness, the straddling of the higher and lower dimension as well as the unifying of elements within us and in the wider society.  The yin/yang energies of the black and white children seems reflective of our inner unification and the two cities carry the sense of consciousness shifting from 3D to 5D and back again.  This is just my impression in light of what is happening in the consciousness shift.

This shows moving about, getting from destination to destination in a free flowing manner. Driving or flying or in a bus; there’s lots of activity going on. There's also a need for space sharing, patience and give-and-take as people have their own needs. This can show communications and linkages between separate worlds leading to increased pleasure, OR, frustration, confusion or psychic indigestion and the need for a holiday. There's a lot going on and confusion can set in if one doesn't follow the rules to ensure a smooth flow of operations. Being 'squeezed-in' can bring a sense of panic but it can also bring pleasurable interchange between people and a chance to tune out. Communications. Linking between separate worlds. Pleasure or psychic indigestion? Going with the flow. Cars, traveling. Traffic control. Nervous and digestive systems.

This article ‘The Intermediary Period’ popped up during the week.  It resonated with me so chances are it may ring bells for some of you out there.  I don’t take on board everything I read but I do feel there’s some resonance in here in relation to current energies and the upcoming eclipses in March.  I’ve included a couple of quotes which jumped out at me.

19th February 2016 Sun moves into Pisces

Hi everyone!

 

It’s all Aquarius...star filled and magic!  Lifting off the Capricorn mountain top in mind and heart.

 

From Capricorn to...

Capricorn is the earth energy that calls us to transcend material focus, to resolve karma and to take our authority as a master of the earthly domain. It can be a challenging energy if we allow ourselves to fall into the materialism and benchmarks of the wider society.  But we can earn big brownie points with Capricorn’s ruler Saturn as our guide and spiritual task master.  The month of January sure served up a big dose of Capricorn transformation for us all, some of us more impacted than others. 

 

My hairdresser today, who has a dominance of Capricorn energies in her natal chart, revealed to me her heavy duty month...mentally, emotionally and physically.  She’s young, fit, practises yoga and other spiritual disciplines.  Of course not all Capricornians would have experienced this.  It’s an individual experience.

 

Aquarius!

We’ve been floating amongst the stars with our magical umbrellas since last week’s New Moon in Aquarius.  That Aquarian lunar energy is with us until the New Moon in Pisces on 9th March.  As well, we have Mercury our mind manager in Aquarius until 5th March and Venus, our heart centre in Aquarius until 12th March.

 

Now the Pisces Sun!  Aquarius and Pisces energies:

Aquarius and Pisces are two energies which help us transcend mentally and emotionally.  How much transcendence we do in the mentally focussed Aquarius energy will set us up for getting the benefits of the Pisces energy which always has the potential to drown us in a sea of emotion or uplift us into the higher spiritual realms. Every sign carries different layers of consciousness.

 

Solar activity this past week:                      

 

Over the past week we’ve had solar flares happening almost every day along with geomagnetic storms.   Solar winds have also been buffeting the earth’s geomagnetic field. 

 

This is all ‘light’ activity impacting the earth and bringing light energy into us all.  We are one with the earth and her magnetic field is inevitably connected to our magnetic field.

 

You may or may not be feeling the influence of these energies as it may bring up tiredness or feeling energised.  Depends where you are in your process.

 

It’s been interesting in light of the planetary movements of Mercury/mind and Venus/heart energies into Aquarius.  Whooo oooo!

 

Today the solar activity seems to be a little more settled.

Dream a little dream:  ‘Catching’ the dreams...be in the space and they’ll come!

Into the field of dreams, or should I say the ocean of dreams.  Without dreams we have no vision. We need the dream, to build it regularly, adding to the dimensions and to the detail in order to provide the inspiration and fire to keep us moving.  Maybe at first it feels like ‘pie in the sky’, too fantastic to even consider as realistic.  We soon find out as we keep visiting that vision and building it into something of substance in the imaginary sphere of probability. 

Imagination brings inspiration:  Relax and go with the flow!

Welcome to Pisces, the sign of the visionary, the artistic realm and the outer spiritual spheres which offer up all manner of possibilities.  The creative mind needs time to drift and dream, floating in this immense and timeless ocean.  Why else do we get so many bright ideas listening to music, in the bath, floating on the water.  We allow ourselves to contact that inspirational force of Pisces. We get beyond the mental energy into the free flowing energies of the emotional, spiritual self.

 

Artistic expression and spiritually focussed activities are highlighted:

Any ‘fluid’ forms of expression are particularly enhanced during Pisces month.  Meditation, contemplation and quiet time alone brings some much needed peace after the last month of somewhat hectic activity.

Potential for clearing old energies this month:  

Mars moving into shadow retrograde in Scorpio...transformational physically!

Pisces rules the 12th house, the collective unconscious which can put us in touch with all manner of energies.  We may well ask, ‘Where do I begin and end’ during this time.  Pisces reveals the unconscious and brings to the surface emotional and/or spiritual experiences from other times and places.  

With Mars, our fire and drive and masculine energy shifting into retrograde shadow on this same day as the Sun’s entry into Pisces, I imagine we’ll be clearing up some issues around the physical body, our fire and drive and unevolved masculine energy.  Dreams/nightmares are always a great insight as well instrumental in clearing old fears, phobias, memories. 

 

 

Bringing dreams to earth:  When we are fully clear and holding that

dream in its raw creative esoteric state...call it in!

Our masculine warrior energy which may still be rearing his head wanting to ‘make it happen’ may feel some challenges when ‘he’ keeps butting his head against a brick wall.  If you’re feeling like this at any time, take a step back and wait till the clarity comes and the pathway opens from ‘heaven to earth’.

It isn’t going to work the old way of going out there and hunting down the dreams.  We build the energy until the pinata is ready to burst open with all the ‘sweeties’, pennies from heaven. love and joy, fulfilment.

 

Just remember that dreams manifest when we’re ‘ready’ not when we ‘think’ we’re ready.

 

 

19th February:  Mars moves into shadow retrograde

Mars will be retrograde from mid April through to the end of June, and will complete his shadow recovery at the end of September. This seems to point to a recalibration at the physical level, and I feel certain many of us will agree that this is essential right now.

Cosmic consciousness daily for 18th/19th February:

Mark your calendars, because this is a very important day. Mars moves into his retrograde shadow, officially kicking off his 6 month retrograde cycle. Mars will spend these next two seasons traveling between 23 Scorpio and 9 Sagittarius (and back again). That's a long time for the ruler of the physical body to be moving back and forth over just 16 degrees of our energy field.  Mars will be moving through Pluto's sign and Jupiter's sign, bringing these two archetypes fully into the upcoming transmutation process. Further, Mars will go retrograde at 9 Sagittarius, which is exactly where Saturn will go direct in August.

As we all know, Mercury has just completed his retrograde journey, which completely overhauled our mental operating system, in tandem with Pluto. That means that these five planets are involved in a major realignment process. First the mind was overhauled, next the body will be upgraded, and ultimately we will have at our disposal a new mind/body connection that is unlike anything we've known before.

Hi everyone!  Still flying in the light of the Aquarian Sun and New Moon!

 

What’s been happening:

What a week it’s been!  Mercury/mind and Mars/body/fire have been challenging us to drop the old ways, to drop the old stories, the old belief systems and old reactive behaviours.

 

Upgrading the heart energy:  It’s not just about you!

To add to the mind/body challenges, we’ve had Venus our heart energy ploughing on through Capricorn, the sign of ‘never enough’.  When we consider Venus rules money as well as love, you can get the picture of potential meltdown...unloved and broke!  Whew!  Of course not everyone has been experiencing this and those who have, it’s been in varying degrees depending on your individual life map, natal chart.

 

Mercury completing shadow journey in Capricorn:  Letting old mindsets go!

So many of us are embracing the potential of the New Moon in Aquarius but held in process by Mercury’s completion of his shadow retrograde journey. Just after he moves into Aquarius on 14th at about 1 degree Aquarius, he’ll have completed this journey through Capricorn of the past 6 weeks.  He’s only retrograde 3 weeks but the shadow period before and after this period adds to the slowdown, review, regeneration and renewal. 

 

Cleansing, purification and recalibration:  Clarifying the windows of the mind!

It’s been a mind makeover and recalibration of cell memories and DNA which carry beliefs, old paradigms like the patriarchal energies, governance politically and religiously.  Capricorn is tradition, the old way, the old status quo.

 

Are we coming or going:  Both!  Letting out and letting in!  From 3D to 5D!

Along with that we’ve experienced Mars/our physical body/fire and drive in Scorpio squaring off to the Sun in Aquarius, opening up the spiritual collective wounds in a trine with Chiron in Pisces. That was the tip of the iceberg but captured the essence of this challenge to shift from 3D to 5D, from the old paradigm of ‘hard work and struggle’ of ‘making it happen’ from feeling you needed to take physical action to the 5D paradigm of ‘going with the flow’, of allowing, of magnetising and drawing to you whilst letting go at the same time.

 

We’re working with both energies at the same time.  Our beings are like revolving doorways with hotel ‘guests’ coming and going at all hours of the night and day!  The picture of this lava lamp is the best I could do to capture this constant movement.  And you think you’re stuck?  haha!

 

What’s coming in:

 

14th February:  Mercury moves into Aquarius at 9.42 am AEDT...out of shadow retrograde!

Until 5th March

Where we’ve been:

Just after Mercury enters Aquarius, he leaves shadow retrograde after 6 weeks exploring the earthy energies of Capricorn.

 

Mental re-set:  We’ve been experiencing a deep cleansing process of our mental energies, our mindsets and belief systems.  We always go through a re-set with Mercury retrograde periods.  The nature of that re-set depends on the sign in which Mercury travels. In Capricorn, it’s been about traditions, belief systems, the status quo, the patriarchal energies and karmic release.

 

Karmic release:  Saturn, Capricorn’s ruler is the Lord of Karma, so the karmic release of mental energies has been intense as we’ve been letting go of ‘control’ and the benchmarks which have dominated this life and history.

 

Mercury’s enforced ‘holiday’:  ‘Why won’t things go MY way!’

Mercury is our mind manager and for the past 6 weeks he’s been out of kilter, possibly confused as every step he tried to take on the physical level met with delays, doubts, backtracking and possibly a sense of defeat.

 

Are you stuck or just waiting:  Is ‘time out’ being stuck?

We’ve been forced to approach life in a new way, the magnetic way, the way of resonance which draws to us that which we need.  Yes.  Many of us are familiar with this way of living but the dominant ideology in the world is ‘make it happen...now!’.  I’ve noticed more use of the word ‘stuck’ in many spiritually focussed articles and commentary.   Are we stuck if we’re resting?

 

 

Now  Mercury in Aquarius :  Liberating the mind!

Testing the new wings:  Stretching the mind and exploring new possibilities!

Not quite 3 weeks to take flight and test your new wings.  Mercury is an air energy, a mental energy and so is Aquarius.  Mercury in Aquarius offers a sense of freedom for our mind manager and messenger who’s been feeling stymied, blighted by brain stagnation and frustration.

 

Time to fly:  Freefalling in faith!  Clarity and confidence restored!

The measure of how much we’ve released, renewed and integrated in the past 6 weeks will be demonstrated over the next 3 weeks and on by the way in which we can grasp situations with a new mental clarity.  The conflicted thinking, second guessing and doubt filled moments have hopefully been released from the physical memory banks and we’re now going to see what happens when we do some free falling without fear!

 

Explore and be open to innovative solutions and new ideas:  Sudden flashes of insight!

Aquarius offers Mercury innovative solutions as Mercury is the consummate problem solver when he has a clear head. These two energies will be just what we need after the past weeks of go slow. Aquarius is a higher mental energy which connects to the outer cosmos and brings in quirky, novel and welcome ideas.  Just right after releasing some of the restrictive bonds of the status quo.

 

Exciting, stimulating and maybe a little highly strung!  

Release the old stress reactions!  Laugh!

Aquarius rules the neuralgic system and Mercury rules the nervous system so we may well experience some hyper mental activity.  We will need to make a conscious effort to rest the nervous energy rather than burn out!

 

However, the lightening of the energy with the mind energy open and flowing will be stimulating and exciting.  I think a whole lot of us could do with a dollop of that after seemingly plodding along the pilgrim’s pathway for quite some time.

What’s been happening with Venus:  Surfacing of karmic wounds related to love!

She hasn’t been in the most comfortable of situations these past weeks travelling through Capricorn, an earth sign which rules success, attainment, respect, reputation. systems, the establishment and tradition.  Old stereotypical patterns of thinking have been under examination with Mercury in Capricorn.

 

How’s your sense of worthiness:

Our sense of self-worth in relation to success and fulfilment has been under the microscope with our heart centre. Issues of worthiness have been coming to light.  It’s been uncertain ground.  It’s been hard to know fact from fiction with our mind manager having a minor breakdown.

How do I love me..let’s count the ways!

Venus rules love, beauty, harmony, peace and money.  Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra and their particular focus has been relevant during this last period of time as any outstanding issues concerning self-worth and values (Taurus) or balance and justice (Libra) may have been underpinning the heart makeover.

 

Final 2 days of Venus in Capricorn:  

Clearing the emotional and cellular memories!  Intensification!

As planets prepare to change signs, there’s often an intensification of energies as if we’re getting a ‘hurry up’ to get through all that we can while the energies are with us. Remember, we’re shifting 3d consciousness on! If you felt the sting in the tail of Mercury in Capricorn for his last day, you know what I’m talking about.  It was an immense ‘make or break’ shift!

 

Are we entitled to love, a fulfilling life, equity and abundance on all levels of our being?

This is a perfect time to practise some reframing of self talk about ‘entitlement’.  I’ve noticed this coming up a lot recently on social media with an inference that we are entitled to ‘an empty page’...nothing!

 

I think this is damaging when we consider so many of us old souls are embedded with a deep sense of unworthiness, built up over thousands of lifetimes of batting our head against a brick wall, being caught up in the energies of oppression and inequity.  Doesn’t matter which side of the fence we were on in those times.  We were players in those energies. Are we entitle to food? shelter?...basic needs which are not now being fulfilled for millions across the planet. 

Definition of ‘entitlement’ from Oxford Dictionary: The fact of having a right to something

I know this word is often used in relation to people feeling entitled to privileges at the expense of others, but when we consider that ‘entitlement’ is a ‘right’ then we look at our own lives and how we feel about our worthiness in terms of receiving our divine entitlement.  Just take 2 days to review your feelings about your life and your worthiness to accept your divine gifts and blessings.  The divine pathway is before you and waiting for your acceptance of you!

 

Now Venus in Aquarius:  Liberating the heart!  Liberating love!

Aquarius is a liberator, fearlessly breaking out of predictable behaviours and limiting constructs.  ‘Unchain my heart’ is probably the best heart liberating song that comes to mind, except no-one’s doing it for us.  We’re liberating ourselves!

 

If we’ve done some serious clearing of old consciousness of ‘lack’ whether it’s love or money or earthly comforts, then we’re on our way to throw off a lot of residue as we lift our hearts into the outer spheres of unconditional love, forgiveness, mercy, compassion and divine grace.

 

Connecting with our galactic consciousness:

As Venus leaves Capricorn we’ll feel a lightening of the karmic burdens and the scent of fresh air and new dimensions as our hearts lift off into the higher consciousness of Aquarius. Are you ready and willing to connect to your star families, galactic families, soul families? 

 

Detachment from the 3d emotional climate:

Aquarius offers a detachment in relation to emotional energies and this is just what’s needed to contact that deep well of longing for evolved love within our beings...without the handicap of emotions surfacing from past times, old memories from other people, other places and other times.

Transcending the emotional energies can elevate our emotional centre into a pure essence of divine love.  Yes, we’re a work in progress but every time we reach for the stars and ‘the good life’, we are choosing love in its purest form.

 

Remember that Venus rules love, harmony, peace, beauty and money which is an energetic reflection of love. Aquarius gives our heart an elevated perspective, an opportunity to see love through new eyes, cutting free of the ties that bind and all the issues of human relationship that get us all tangled up with projections, reflections, neediness and dependencies.  Aquarius has the potential to set our hearts free to fly!

 

 

World events with Venus and Mercury in Capricorn:

With Capricorn urging us to seek success, material wealth, acknowledgement, respect and reputation, any real or perceived shortfalls in these areas have been under review.  Working in tandem with the personal is the global economy, the continuing divide between rich and poor, the poverty consciousness not just in relation to money and financial wealth but in relation to separation from ‘source’, the self-love and self-acceptance.  So much of our power and validation we draw from money and status in our world that for many we have forgotten that our greatest power is love and our higher more evolved self

 

The stockmarkets:

Venus rule money, Mercury rules commerce and Capricorn is big business, government, banks, systems, multinationals, the establishment.  I think the Mercury retrograde period in Capricorn really stirred up the economies and the money flow.  So much of the stockmarket is run by fear and panic.  And with Venus in Capricorn, the likelihood of ‘lack’, poverty consciousness and loss would have kicked in with the Mercury energy.  Let’s see what happens over the next week when these two planets move into Aquarius.  Maybe more pie in the sky schemes?

 

 

Politics:

It’s been interesting to observe the political climate, particularly in USA which has an upcoming election.  In particular we have an extreme right wing energy and an extreme left wing energy up for selection.  That in itself is very interesting as the status quo continues to be shifted and challenged.  We’re in for the long haul but we need to observe the Capricorn energy ruling governments.  Pluto continues on his work in this sign until 2024.

We’re getting some breathing space from the earthy 3D treadmill if we’re prepared to take advantage of the shift in energies this week. You’re likely to find the Mercury and Venus shift from Capricorn to Aquarius an incredible lightening of the load we’ve been carrying.  It’s going to be a lot easier to offload the old mindsets and the old sad stories locked into the heart.  I’ve written quite a bit on what’s been happening because I think it’s been such an incredibly powerful period of change. 

 

Gear shifting this week:

This week with Mercury and Venus changing signs and then the Sun moving into Pisces at the end of the week means a gear shift which will affect our everyday reality in a more pronounced way for the better.  This is going to be a lot easier to take as we feel the updraft from the material, physical concerns and find magical solutions manifesting more easily.  We just have to keep our mind focussed on affirmations such as ‘all is well’ and trusting the process of change.  We may well be surprised at how swiftly things start happening.
