Hi everyone!
What’s been happening:
So we come to the last rays of the Leo Sun as it sets for another year. The
yellow/gold energies are still alive within us, ignited by the last month of
light work. Sometimes it might have felt we were lost in the darkness but the
golden light of the Sun was shining the way as we moved through the dark primal
energies which were surfacing.
Out for the count:
Much of that energy has been connected with
Saturn slowing to turn retrograde, meeting the dark star Antares at the exact
point of his change of direction last weekend. Maybe you didn’t feel knocked
over by that energy but for those of us held in the change process by our own
planetary chart and planets impacted by this energy, it was less than
comfortable, overwhelming for some.
The Aquarian Full Moon penumbral eclipse: A quirky subtle shift of
energies!
I don’t know about how you’re all faring in these
energies but they’re certainly packing a punch! The liberating forces of the
Full Moon in Aquarius shifted our perspective once again to the bigger picture
and has in somewhat unexpectedly subtle ways manifested karmic ties and burdens
being released. More to be revealed with all this.
The Pisces moon energies a couple of days after the Full Moon were
instrumental in opening up those emotional energies caught in our karmic
blueprint as the moon squared off to Mars first then Saturn/Antares all in
Sagittarius.
Neptune and Chiron in Pisces are also significant players at this time as
the hard work and struggle energies are being uplifted into the Neptunian flow
of ‘ease and grace’! When Pisces is in play we can guarantee some emotional
release and it’s a collective release.
The Saturn/Antares journey has a little more kick in it this week as these
energies are joined by Mars, our physical body, our masculine warrior fire and
drive. First, however, the Sun moves from Leo into Virgo, the divine feminine
energy, sign of the healer.
What’s coming in:
22nd August: Mars moves out of retrograde shadow at 8
degrees 54 Sagittarius
What’s been happening:
Mars turned retrograde in the middle of April this year. However the whole
retrograde journey including shadow energy has been with us since mid February,
the best part of our year. It’s been a dominating force in our astrological
landscape, calling us to address our masculine energies of action, tempering our
impulses to evolve our old energies of fighting and aggression to solve our
problems.
Globally: Fight to the death!
This primal energy is deeply embedded within us
rooted in survival issues. We’ve seen it playing out big time on the world
stage as the anger, hatred and power games have surfaced across societies across
the world. Whether it be in politics, religion. economics or business, the
traditional realms of masculine supremacy have been challenged. Saturn in
Sagittarius’ has been giving the focus for the transformational energies related
to belief systems and ideologies has various groups ‘battle it out’ for a win!
We all know there is no winner. We only have to look at history for the changes
and disruption brought about by fighting for ‘power over’ others.
Personally: A physical cleansing and upgrade!
Whew!
It’s been a hard road for many as Mars is the
ruler of our physical body as well as our fire, drive and passion. For many of
us we’re being physically upgrade, recalibrated with the light and energy of
‘spirit’, the more evolved part of ourselves, what many call our ‘higher self’
These past months whether we know it or not, many of us have been experiencing
more challenging physical problems as we increasingly take in more light to
cleanse and purify from those cell memories and ancestral DNA which we’re all
carrying in our bodies.
Personally: A tempering and holding pattern to our fire and drive!
Those who have not experienced this physical
challenge have been experiencing Mars retrograde as a dampening of ardour and
passion. It might just have been a feeling of having challenges just getting
going, moving, getting out of bed in the morning and/or feeling and maintaining
the excitement of life.
The frustration, irritation and/or anger that we have not been able to do
what we want to do has been playing out in many ways with many feeling that
build up in the physical body which just demands release. For those who are
able to release through physical exercise it has been a great antidote to
blowing your stack. However, for others it’s been fight mode and the resultant
conflicts that arise from imposing your will on others.
What’s coming in:
Mars is re-energised but a little contained by
Saturn’s slow train and Mercury’s ‘Groundhog Day’!
If you read the above regarding what’s been
happening these past months, you’ll get some idea of what’s coming in for us
now. Mars is one of our main shakers and movers along with Mercury.
Now, Mercury’s slowing in retrograde shadow about to turn retrograde on
30th August so whatever powerful forces are coming in with Mars may be somewhat
dampened by Mercury’s extra slow movement at this time. Our big yellow
ascension bus is moving along at a nice speed but somewhat burdened by Saturn
who is just not up to speed yet and Mercury who’s backwards and forwards
checking the engine. Who’s driving this bus anyway! Probably Saturn. Mars is
learning to be a team player but is great as a cheer leader.
This week: Hold your horses!
In particular, this week, Mars won’t feel the force of the galloping horse
as he moves to exact meeting with Saturn on 24th August, a culminating point for
karmic release! Being so close to Saturn, he’s in a holding pattern! Hold your
horses everyone! It’s going to get a whole lot better very soon!
23rd August: Sun moves to Virgo at 2.38 am

It’s the healing time: Each day the Sun rises and shines on the
earth and all life!
The Sun moves into the sign of the healer, sign of divine calling and sign
of the divine feminine. This energy is a call to grounding. to bringing dreams
into the earthly dimension of everyday life. The Sun in Virgo kicks us off,
joining Mercury, mind manager and Venus, heart power, calling us to reclaim our
everyday mundane world with the joy of dedication and devotion.
The power of simplicity: Virgo purges and purifies the extraneous
distractions!
Virgo is an earth sign which is ruled by
Mercury and Chiron. So we have the mental energies of Mercury which in Virgo
mode enjoys the analytical, sorting and sifting processes as well as Chiron, a
centaur who speaks to our spiritual wounds calling us to the purging of the
wounds and purification of the physical body. Virgo is concerned with health
and wellbeing and more often than not using natural means drawn from the earth.
Home remedies are high on the list of Virgo knowledge as passed on from the
ancestors.
As we heal our ‘wounds’ so we heal others:
Chiron’s message is that where we are most
wounded we have most capacity to ‘heal’ and bring that to the healing of others
with that same wound. We see this in the world when people who lose a child to
a tragic death may then turn their energies to raising awareness, supporting
others experiencing similar tragedies.
The healing process is a universal force...we’re in it together, as
one!
We don’t need to go out into the wider world to practise this healing
energy. We’re doing it all the time at home as we bring our beings to
wholeness, expanding and growing our consciousness and coming to peace with all
the discordant forces we carry within.
Coming to peace in the mind: Healing the overwhelm from burnout!
With Mercury slowing about to turn retrograde, we
have our mind manager in one of its home signs for an extended stay. We’re
‘healing’ our minds. We’ve been in such a state of escalating violence and war
across the world with the communication systems in overdrive delivering images
and stories of conflict, conflicted societies and individuals as well as mental
spin outs and breakdowns of humans at breaking point.
Accessing peace of mind and heart: Clearing the mental dross and
clarifying!
Now is the time for us to re-centre and re-focus
on what we as individuals can do to bring peace to our hearts and minds. Venus
is still in Virgo for another week of heart healing, moving on just as Mercury
turns retrograde. Mercury has an extended stay in Virgo until October 8th. The
message is clear...mind clearing, sorting, sifting and shifting all those all
mindsets stuck in our bodies.
Paring away the extraneous
information:
If ever there was a time of healing for us all, it’s now with the Sun
adding weight to the healing processes, bringing clarification through paring
away of extraneous information and dross of old systems of thinking which have
been weighing us down and holding us back. Virgo offers a simplification of
problems and issues through the process of distillation and purification. We’ll
be like a double malt aged whisky by the end of this!
New Moon Solar Eclipse in Virgo on the way: Everything must go!
Guaranteed change!
In just another 10 days the New Moon Solar Eclipse in Virgo will come in to
add support with a real waking up and shifting time in our physical world and in
relation to our personal pathway forward. The road is being prepared mentally
and emotionally for us to accept what’s on offer and to step up to the plate for
the fulfilment of our personal upliftment. Are you ready to lift your game and
step up a notch to be fully who you are. It’s on offer in the eclipse season
just ahead.
24th August: Mars meets Saturn at 9 degrees 52

Release of volcanic
energies:
Mars has gradually been moving to this amazing meeting with Saturn and
Antares with a growing intensity that has more than likely been felt in the
physical body. There’s a sense that something needs to happen, to explode out
of us along with the sensation that we can’t quite get that fire energy out and
happening.
With the exact meeting, things come to a head, to a release, a culmination,
an intensification that reaches breaking point. As we move through it, a new
doorway appears and we feel a release.
New beginnings for Mars and Saturn: Divine masculine authority
re-born!
Conjunctions/meetings are beginnings so we can
trust that after the release of these dark primal forces on this day. we’re
starting to feel ‘butterflies of red’ instead of volcanoes wanting to release.
The potential for transformation with this aspect is profound.
If you experienced the intensifying energies when Saturn stationed direct
about 10 days ago, you might get a sense of what’s ready to be released. It’s
karmic burdens, old masculine warrior energies and primal earth energies welling
up out of everyone and everything on the planet.
From today onwards: A lessening of the karmic load!
Afterwards, we’re likely to feel like a huge
weight has lifted from our shoulders. Saturn is Lord of Karma and is about
responsibility as well as authority. Have you been carrying the world on your
shoulders? Most of us frontrunners are carrying an extra load, committed to
the evolution of ourselves, the planet and all life here.
Strength returning:
As Mars moves away from Saturn, fairly rapidly,
we’re going to start feel the extent of this liberation as the weekend
approaches, gradually increasing our physical and spiritual drive within the
week.
Mental energy slowing and in for a purification and workover:
Saturn’s chuffing along...steam power!
Let’s not forget that Mercury, our mind manager,
is slowing and moving into retrograde on 30th so any holding energy is likely to
be emanating from this as well as Saturn’s very slow journey in direct motion.
This is a contained energy which will help us to focus and direct our
attention without going off half cocked after a pipe dream which is not resonant
with the easiest pathway forward. We are being looked after as the universal
forces support our growth.

That’s it folks!
We’re probably starting to feel some real changes to our physical
constitution as the healing energies of Virgo kick in. We’re already
experiencing these Virgo energies with both Mercury/mind and Venus/heart
energies travelling through the sign of the healer. Now the Sun joins them and
in 10 days time, a New Moon in Virgo, Solar Eclipse guaranteed to bring change
to our lives. It will be healing and grounding.
As always, love and blessings as we put one foot in front of the other on
our pathway which is opening up before us. Are we on horseback, on the steam
train, aboard the ascension bus or on foot? All of them, all at once! That’s
no time, no space quantum travel!
