...for the children of the earth

22nd June: 2019: Neptune stations retrograde, 22nd June: Sun enters Cancer , Solstice

Hi everyone!

Our hot air Gemini balloon has been challenged to stay aloft as so many of the planetary energies have been bringing us down to earth, holding our physical existence including our bodies in a releasing, revamping and renewal process that has been challenging to many.

Maintaining the fire and the faith!
Spirits may feel flattened by the trekking journey of the past month/s and feeling like we need something to excite our creative spirits, some fire in the soul which can give us the impetus to maintain faith and perseverance.

Did you make a break for ‘freedom’ with the Full Moon?
The Sagittarian Full Moon was our ‘get out of jail’ card as it stimulated the desire for a freeing up of energies and the desire to get onto a new road, a new pathway and the fiery passion to ginger up this very karmic road trip of this year.

Since the Full Moon:  Intensity of karmic release mentally/physically!
The past week following from the full moon carried some very challenging energies as Mars and Mercury travelling mates in Cancer faced off to the Capricorn team line up of South Karmic Node, Saturn and Pluto.

It’s been ‘crunch’ time:  Did you break through?
It has been an intense few days with the mental and physical bodies feeling ‘crunch time’ as the ancestral cell memories came to the surface.  Any resistance you may have felt during this time can be put down to past patterns of ‘addiction’/attachment rearing their heads and bringing conflicted emotions to the surface. Reminder:  Cancer rules the past, the ancestors and connecting to both planetary karmic nodes indicates karmic release and evolution!

Our new road is on the way when we meet our first eclipse in July, a solar eclipse at the New Moon in Cancer.  Eclipses are break out energies which bring breakthroughs.  So, just know we’re getting through this year with the planetary energies guiding us all the way. First, the Solstice.

22nd June:
Neptune stations retrograde at 18 degrees 43 Pisces 12:36 am AEST
Reclaiming hopes and dreams!
Until 27th November
Plenty of time to adjust, adapt, tune in to the higher spiritual spheres:  Listening time!
Neptune is a slow moving planet at any time but has been especially slow as he moves to his stationing for the retrograde journey.  Even after he comes to a standstill, he’ll still be travelling very slowly for quite a while giving us time to attune to the retrograde journey.

Long term spiritual growth for us all:  Eye opening times!
Neptune rules Pisces and he’s in his home sign for the long term so we all know that there is a significant spiritual change underway for us all.  Pisces rules the collective unconscious, connects us to big emotional energies and activates our connection to the inspirational energies that feed creative ideas and artistic communication.

Harnessing the positive  visionary within:  Clearing collective emotions!
Every sign and planet has a shadow side and for Pisces, the ‘dreamer’ of dreams can take us into the desire to escape, run away and even into victimhood, self-pity and the sense of entrapment.  These feelings stem from the connection to the ‘collective’ emotions of humanity and the sensitivity of the Pisces energy to everything and everyone.  We need to remember that our feelings are not just the feelings of our ‘I am’ self in this life here and now.

Reclaiming ‘old’ hopes and dreams!  Taking time to dream and envision!
The retrograde period of Neptune may re-activate dreams, visions, hopes that have been put aside as the everyday world and the karmic demands of this year have taken over.  Artistic, spiritual imperatives arise from within.

Any fluid forms of expression are ruled by Pisces.  Music, dance, movement, poetry, lyrical writing, art are all open to new expressions during this retrograde period.

Spiritual connection is the key for this next stretch:  Contemplation, meditation, dreaming!
Pisces is the ocean and demands we go with the flow, with the currents of emotion and inspiration that present to us. The more we attune to the spirit of who we are and the higher consciousness, the more we’ll feel the benefit and strength of the Pisces energy. Whatever turns off the mind works well as that is when inspiration drops into our psyche.

22nd June:
Sun enters Cancer 1:54 am AEST
Weary travellers returning home!  June Solstice
Until 23rd July
Home is where the heart is!  Return to the heart, divine love!
This couldn’t be more important than at this time when the global community continues in a chaotic change process throwing many of us into economic, social and financial insecurity.

Holding emotional balance for ourselves is for all!
Even if we are not experiencing these issues individually, many of us are feeling the wave of emotion washing over all of us and for the ‘sensitives’, it’s our call to hold that balance and emotional security for ourselves, for all.  That’s our spiritual ‘calling’.

Focus for next solar month:  Be calm, ‘I am safe, we are safe’!
This is where Cancer energy comes in, asking us to align to the inner emotional security, maintaining equilibrium regardless of what is happening in our private or public lives.  Cancer rules the shoreline, where we straddle the worlds of the conscious, the land and the ocean, the unconscious.  It’s where we find refuge and hold the balance of these two worlds.

Like the crab, we carry our home within:
Cancer rules home, the family, mothering energy, the past, the ancestors and brings us to find our ‘place of belonging’.  It’s not just about a building, country or region.

It’s a sense of knowing that we feel safe within ourselves with a sense of being in the right place at the right time. The crab has a strong shell of protection and it knows when to take diversionary action...it moves sideways!

Solar Month of Cancer:  Big changes ahead!  Eclipses!
The next solar month promises to be transformational as only eclipses can be.
These changes can be personal, global or both and bring sudden unexpected breakthroughs into new territory.  They may seem like they’re happening ‘to’ us rather than emanating from deep within us.  They are changes we’ve been seeking, not knowing how to enact them. Now it’s time.

June Solstice:
Midpoint of the Solar Year

June Solstice: Longest and Shortest Day of the Year  https://www.timeanddate.com/calendar/june-solstice.html
The June solstice is the summer solstice in the Northern Hemisphere and the winter solstice in the Southern Hemisphere. The date varies between June 20 and June 22, depending on the year, and the local time zone.

The entry of the Sun into Cancer marks a turning point in our solar year.  Traditionally it’s regarded as a magical time when the energies are open and receptive, when the doorway to the magical and esoteric is active.

It’s been celebrated throughout history as a welcoming to the change of seasons, the inevitable change which brings growth  and fertility to our earth. For the Southern Hemisphere, it takes us into winter hibernation time when the growth is undercover within the earth itself.  For the Northern Hemisphere, it marks the beginning of Summer where the growth is outward into the world.

My Tennessee Hills
When all my dreams have been shattered
And the fabric of life comes undone
When it seems like nothing matters
And all of my good times are gone
There's a place that I've kept sheltered
From the sight of my sorrow and shame
Though it's years since I beheld her
She still calls my name
I'll go home, I'll go home
Where the wild shadows roam
And the dawn over mountaintops spills
Where the deer pause in flight
On the edge of the night
I'll go home to my Tennessee hills
I'll go home to my Tennessee hills
When all my vows have been broken
And my wild heart can't be tamed
When I've loved and lost once too often
And failure is my middle name
There's a place that holds forgiveness
And the promise of peace in despair
When I'm down to my last witness
I'll be going there
I'll go home, I'll go home
Where the wild shadows roam
And the dawn over mountaintops spills
Where the deer pause in flight
On the edge of the night
I'll go home to my Tennessee hills
I'll go home to my Tennessee hills

That’s all folks!  Hugs all around!

We’re heading into the solar month of Cancer as we reach the solar midpoint of the year.  Even as we do, our two running mates of Mercury and Mars travelling in Cancer, are preparing to move into Leo within the next 2 weeks.  And so, the perpetual clock of change winds on.

However, our next big lunar turning point is the New Moon in Cancer on 3rd July.  We’re running on the power of the Sagittarius Full Moon until that time so that ‘get out of jail’ card is in our hand.  We need to remind ourselves that this crusader freedom energy is backing us and carrying us all the way. If doubts and insecurities arise, tune in to that rainbow energy of uplift and unification.

Our otters are enjoying the big ocean, the Pisces realm, hanging together as only a ‘tribe’ can do!  That’s all of us, going with the flow and taking taking time to play together.

Love and blessings to us all as we walk along the shoreline, the Cancerian realm which straddles the conscious and the unconscious, the place where we find refuge between the realms.
